The Refectory is worth every cent. Lamb was amazing, wine list is extravagant and the wait staff were memorable. My boyfriend and I were celebrating Valentine's Day a little late, and our servers decided we should have 2 desserts instead of 1-on the house! Would highly recommend.

Great food and menu choices, no complaints at all. I was surprised, however, that our waiter used pen and paper to write down our order. It was just the 2 of us and it seemed a little odd. I would discourage the waiters from doing this unless there is a large group.

Incredible! The food and the service was second to none. If you live in Columbus or bearby and you have a special occasion to celebrate, this is where you should come.

Haven't been there for some time and forgot what I was missing. The staff is extremely attentive without being overbearing. Best food and dining experience in Columbus, hands down.

Had a nice Valentine’s Day dinner but the food took almost 2 hours to get to us. Will come back but probably not as often since the long wait time for food is so long. If you’re looking for nice ambiance and good drinks then go here.

My wife and I went for the first time and were underwhelmed. While I can appreciate the classic French theme and the historical building, this restaurant is outdated. I got the feeling that nothing has been changed in a very long time. For the most part the food was good, except for the bisque which was burnt and inedible, but nothing we ate was exciting. For having spent $400+ on dinner we were simply unimpressed.

Excellent first time at the Refectory. We had a little bit of a wait to get our reserved table but it was worth it.

The food was excellent and their foie gras a true delicatessen. Same thing should be said about our entrees and especially about dessert: their creme brûlée was out of this world.

Our waiter was not only knowledgeable but also always around for attending our needs and even providing us with great conversation.

I am looking forward to future visits.

This place is timeless and romantic with good old fashioned wait staff. The food is exquisite and wine list extensive with a variety of price points to fit the budget. It's a five star all around. I love this place.

Another delicious pre theatre dinner! $26.95 bistro menu is the best deal in town! 3 course menu makes you feel you're in NYC or London prior to a show. The goat cheese, leek, and smoked salmon creme brulee starter was amazing!

Have been to The Refectory numerous times for anniversaries and birthdays. This last visit was my least favorite. The food was good but not exceptional like previous visits. For the price I expect more. While I may return for another meal in the future I intend to check out other fine dining options in the interim.
Would like to have provided a better rating but this was not your best effort.

We had great food at the Refectory. We just had some small service issues table side. We waited 15 minutes to be seated which wasn't of real concern to us. Our server put our red wine on ice which we thought was odd and then didn't come back around to fill our glasses either. Then one of the desserts at our table was incorrect. This didn't ruin our experience, we did expect more from the service at Refectory. The food fully met our expectations from appetizers to main course to dessert. Very thoughtful and full of taste.

Great first visit that made date nite very enjoyable. We arrived early at 5pm so the place was quiet. Food was well prepared and delicious. Service was excellent and the atmosphere delightful. We made plans to return during one of the Jazz music venue in March!

Without competition, the refectory was the best dining experience my wife and I have ever had. The food was amazing, the staff was wonderful, and their suggestions were exquisite. We can not wait until we have the opportunity to return.
