Got order wrong twice
Our server did an excellent job acknowledging the birthday guest, and guiding us through the menu. Brunch portions were even more generous than expected and everyone was impressed by the flavor.
This was my second time eating at the Red Feather.
What can I say it by far is the best place I've ever eaten the food is outstanding the service was exceptional although it was a little loud for my girlfriend of myself anniversary but we simply asked the host if we could be moved to a more private section so it was quieter and without hesitation took care of the situation.
So from now on my girlfriend and myself are going to go out to eat every other week at the Red Feather it might cost a little more but the experience in itself is amazing I would recommend it to any family member and any person if anybody has a bad review about the place they don't know what real food is
I'll be looking forward to the service and food for a lifetime
My husband and I absolutely LOVE Red Feather! We have fined here many times and it never disappoints! We have tried most items on the menu and we love it all and the atmosphere is so romantic. It is the perfect date night out! I highly recommend Red Feather. If you appreciate great cuisine, you will not be disappointed!
We were celebrating a birthday and our waiter was ‘up to speed’ on this. He was very personable and able to engage comfortably but not overbearing. We spent the evening there- 3.5 hrs- and had it all from cocktails to appetizers, wine, entrees, desert and after dinner drinks. Everything was fabulous. Service was a little slow, I think it was somewhat intentional as he knew this was our main event for the night but could have been a bit more attentive but when he was with us he was great. I had the lobster and truffle Mac and cheese which is fantastic. The whipped ricotta is so yummy and both the creme brûlée and meringue desert were perfect. Everyone in our party including a vegetarian were very pleased with their choices. This is a consistently wonderful neighborhood restaurant with the quality of an urban fine dining experience. Highly recommend!
Lamb chops w/ mint chimachurri - very little chimachurri, bland. A mound of fried onions
Beet salad hohum
Burger - good but not special
Scallops - good, nice presentation
Great service with Dan.
Overall, decent food but expensive, not a good value
Incredibly impressed with Red Feather. Lots of inventive flavor pairings, but effective pairings not just strange for the sake of being unusual. Our server recommended a couple things we never would have otherwise ordered (like the ricotta appetizer) that proved to be incredible. We had two appetizers, a soup and an entree between us and had leftovers. Somehow, we managed dessert! (which was also great) I feel like we barely scratched the surface of the menu and would love to go again. Wine selection was incredible bordering on overwhelming, too.
The noise level was mostly from a small group of people with very loud voices. There isn’t much sound cushioning in the back room where we sat. Food is delicious, especially the oysters, & the wait staff is excellent & very knowledgeable about the menu & wine. It was our 3rd visit.
Good restaurant for a casual night out. Interesting seasonings but a bit heavy on the truffle oil.
Excellent as always.
Great service and interesting menu. Portions were oddly small given the very generous prices.
We had not been there for awhile & after the great night we had I don’t know why. A casual night out w/friends turned into an exceptional evening!
Good good, good wine. It was my husband’s birthday and they made it a special day wishing him at the start and then making him feel special through the meal. Will definitely return. The only caution is the open kitchen and the narrow passage which Allows the cooking smells to get pass through like a chimney. Rest was all good!
We were seating quickly, they have a great Bloody Mary bar and the service was great. Would go again for brunch (a bit above my budget for dinner)
Great food. The entire staff was excellent especially Keith, our server.
Food was excellent as was the service! I will be returning!
Delicious brunch, warm atmosphere and friendly service. I'm already planning my next trip back!
High pressure sales pitch do most expensive food, wine, from very beginning. $11 salad was $4 at best. $31 Short ribs, 65% mouth gagging fat... 2 oz meat at best. Huge disappointment. Never again.
Great restaurant! Food menu is exceptional ... we have eaten there about 4 times and they never disappoint us😊
My aunt and I had a lovely time at the Red Feather. The staff was SO polite and informative about the meals and the potato gnocchi was to die for!
Our first visit to Red Feather was very enjoyable. The bar is large enough for a drink before dinner or as a destination. The beer, wine and cocktail offerings were varied, interesting and tasty. Each of the four of us had different entrees and all were well presented and delicious. We came in 3 cars. One had trouble finding the restaurant since only a red feather image with no letters is on the exterior of the restaurant.
Squash soup and burger and tequila old fashion were all fabulous. Would definitely go back and order again.
Food was great once we got it, they "lost" our order. They made up for it by copying the entire meal. Will return again.
We ordered the biscuits made from scratch and they are to die for... flaky, warm large biscuits that melt in your mouth (awesome with butter and jam).
The bloody mary bar is fabulous - loved the additive options, such as olives, celery and crisp bacon!
The omelettes were wonderful - fresh eggs with nice selection of cheeses and veggie options.
Service was impeccable.. very friendly and informed waiters
Amazing service and the best Bloody Mary bar!
Chad was an amazing server. Great food! Try the shrimp and grits. Just love this place!
Dinner was great but expect LONG wait times for food. Had reservation for 7:30 and didn’t leave until 10:30! And that was with eating and getting check right after.
Food took some time to come out but was very worth it when it arrived
Great experience at Red Feather! I brought a friend who was visiting the city and we were both impressed by the experience! Gigi was a GREAT server and made then night so much fun for us!
We recently dined at Red Feather for our Anniversary dinner. This was our first time there and I chose Red Feather based on the on line reviews I had read. Everything was amazing! The Hostess and wait staff were extremely friendly and attentive and thoroughly covered menu options. We ordered Roast Chicken and Spare Rib Dinners and both were fabulous. I highly recommend Red Feather for a great meal and courteous and knowledgeable service!
The food was intelligently prepared with thought to how the main entree blends well with the accompaniments. The scallops were served with Belgian endives filled with mushrooms, chopped walnuts, parsnip purée, roasted chestnuts, Apple and sage brown butter. We made another reservation for April.
Most disappointing visit to date. The food was not prepared with the same detail as in the past. The short rib dish was a salt bomb (couldn't finish) and the mozzarella was very difficult to eat and was served with the meal and not the other appetizers. The rest of the food for our table was average except for the pork chop which was exceptional. Although I am writing this off as a bad night for the cooks, I'm not rushing to get back again.
Always a 5 star experience. My out of town business colleague told me it was the best meal he’s had in Cincinnati and the best pork chop he’s ever had. Period.
Food was delicious. Pacing was super slow for a Sunday night. Took 30 minutes for waiter to get our drinks and take our food order. Was another 20-30 before our appetizer of whipped ricotta showed up. Entrees took another 30 minutes after that. We typically eat a meal in around an hour but spent over 2 and half hours at Red Feather only 10 of which was after we'd paid.
Ate bad oysters. I’m paying the price today. Service was slow but they did compensate by giving us a free dessert. Everything else tasted great.
Excellent restaurant - my only complaint is that the open kitchen emits smokey fumes, so don’t wear your best clothes !
First, I messed up and made my reservation for March 23rd instead of February 23rd. It was no problem for The Red Feather, the friendly and kind hostess promptly sat our party at the Chef’s table.
The food and service were both top notch, and we will definitely be back. Try the short rib, and the potato gnocchi- they are both absolutely amazing!!
Our server really went out of his way to take care of us. The menu variety and culinary quality was OUTSTANDING. We are adventuous, high end diners, and Red Feather is in our top twenty nationally of all time.
Food was delicious. Just thought it was a little pricey though, and was expecting the restaurant To be more of a casual atmosphere.
We enjoyed our dishes though. We all tried something different. I had the salmon, my friends had lamb & steak, and my husband had the roasted chicken.
We will probably come back some day, and give it another try. Last night was our first time at The Red Feather.
