The Red Feather
The service was terrible and we waited over an hour and a half for our food! The food portions were incredibly small, it was so disappointing. We will NOT be going back!
Excellent food and service. We will definitely be back!
Excellent food and service. Things were cooked exactly the way we we requested. Couldn’t of had a better time. Thanks Redfeather
The preset menu was extremely small portions for a place that sells burgers on its regular menu. $75 a person for roughly 10 bites of food is a bit aggressive. I’m positive we could have had an amazing steak dinner at Ruby’s down there road for the over $300 we ended up spending. We will go again but never with a preset menu.
Red feather is always a wonderful time! Excellent food with top notch service! Red feather is one of my favorite places.
I was disappointed because this place has been great before. It was Valentine’s weekend. Several issues. They changed to price fix menu after I had made reservation. The service was slow(2 hours for dinner) One of courses was barely above room temp. I would not come back on busy day.
A very enjoyable experience. Staff is well versed and very knowledgeable. Attentive and not hovering. Enjoyed the pre fixe menu on valentines weekend. A couple small misses which the staff more than made up for. We look forward to trying the next dinner menu.
An Amazing Valentines dinner! Electric went out! Yet they managed spectacularly! Had a wonderful night, thank you!
Red Feather never disappoints. Especially for an amazing date night.
Ambience(main dining room) and food are excellent.Have never had a bad experience
Only semi issue was the cocktail I ordered. I didn’t like it and our server let me order another one — no charge. He took the cocktail I did not care for away. Great service!
The food and service were excellent, Jaime was our waiter and he was excellent as well, knowledgeable and attentive, patient. We enjoyed our evening very much.
We have been to the Red Feather 4 or 5 times and it is consistently very good. great atmosphere, great food in a nice environment.
Overall it was another great experience generally. The service was excellent, and most of our food was very good.
We did have the crab cake, which was unfortunately cool in the middle and somewhat dense, like it was made days previously. A bit disappointing given our other positive experiences.
My husband had the lamb chop and it was terrible! He had one bite and was finished. Great service, etc...
I made reservations at this neighborhood restaurant to celebrate my father in laws birthday, and what a big surprise! The aroma in the restaurant was an instant sense awakening! Everything from that point on exceeded my expectations. The service, food and the ambiance was spot on for a birthday celebration. I highly recommend The Red Feather for lunch or dinner, and for any celebration. Life is to be celebrated, so make a reservation and go celebrate! The Red Feather will not disappoint. Thank you to Brad the owner and chef as he introduced himself on Saturday, which added to our experience. Thank you as well for making my father in laws birthday quite the surprise!!!!!
Everything was absolutely delicious! And the service was great too. Looking forward to next time !
First dinner out post baby
The food was wonderful! Would highly recommend the scallops!
Relaxed, fun, great food
The service was great; the ambience is nice. It was a bit noisy, but tolerable. The cheese board was good and then the entree came. The lamb and broccoli I were tasteless and the fried onions were greasy. Second time this has happened. Wondering if it’s a new chef, new crew or what. Not worth the significant price. Will choose another restaurant the next time I do a business dinner.
Food is always delicious. Totally worth the wait.
Food was great (freshly prepared, high quality) as was the ambiance of the restaurant. Yet, I would have given it a much higher overall rating but for the mediocre service. It began with the hostess trying to seat us at a cramped 2-top at the edge of the steps, next to a large occupied table - when there were a half dozen other available tables in open, private space. She did accommodate a request to change. The waiter then made me a bit skeptical when I ordered coffee to accompany my main course and he essentially warned me he may need to be reminded (really, that's my job?). Sure enough, he forget the coffee until I reminded him when he checked in after our mains were delivered. Then we never saw him or anyone else again - I couldn't BEG my way into another cup of coffee to finish my meal. I get that brunch is not a favorite shift to work and we were there at the end, when wait staff is focused on side work. But this is a sad way to spoil all the hard work of the kitchen.
Everything about it was perfect! Brad is an amazing chef. The pork belt melted in your mouth. Everything we had was delicious. Definitely a must try!
I can not say enough great things about this place. The staff is phenomenal. The food is on another level. I always sit at the chef’s table. Watching the masters work is such an art form.
Outstanding experience and high quality food. The service was also top notch
I have dined at Red Feather before but it has been over a year. I went there on a date and had reservations for 7:45PM on a Friday. We arrived on time and were promptly seated. Our server recommended the Burgundy Pinot Noir special and the wine was spectacular. We ordered the Gnocchi appetizer and it was very good but the portion was very small. For dinner, we had their Specialty of the House Pork Chop and Scallops. I've ordered the Pork Chop in the past and it was good but not overly memorable. I felt the last time that I ordered it that it was more flavorful. The Scallop entry had only 3 Scallops and was also good but not spectacular. Overall, the service and atmosphere was great but the entrees were underwhelming. The bill with tax was $192 and felt that this meal was overpriced for the quality of meal.
We had an excellent experience at Red Feather. The food and service were both outstanding.
Almost everything was great...the food, wine, service. We did have to ask when our side dish was coming out half way thru our meal, but our server corrected that quickly and took the charge off the bill which was very nice. The thing I really disliked is how close together they seat you, even when there are plenty of other tables still available. It’s distracting and hard to relax when you have to speak up over the voices of the table less than 2 feet away.
Food took FOREVER to come (like an hour between salad and main). Then it was cold. Not going back.
Justin gave amazing service. He was attentive, offered great suggestions and pairings and overall made our experience great! We were lucky to get a spot at the chefs table and enjoyed being able to make small talk with the cooks and also watch all the food go out. Everyone was professional, courteous, and warm and inviting. Couldn’t have had a better food and ambiance experience!
great food, fairly quiet - just a delightful restaurant for a nice dinner out
The cheese plate and whipped ricotta appetizer were good. The foie gras appetizer tasted like it was in the fridge too long. Mushroom gnocchi were good but not special. The marshmallows in the torte dessert tasted like the fuel of the torch they were toasted with. Super loud place— 85 decibels by my meter. Our waiter was professional and good. Not a good value for the money overall in terms of food quality. I don’t think we will be going back.
first time there, really enjoyed our meals, will go back again
Excellent and great staff
I took the family to brunch as a culminating meal for my husband’s 50th birthday. It did not disappoint. The food was amazing. I had the Oakley with grits as my side. So much flavor yet still traditionally made. The bacon was perfectly crisp and meaty. My husband and mother in law agreed that the quiche was the best they’ve ever had. I had a tropical mimosa! Yummy. I look forward to going back.
We eat here often for brunch. Usually we enjoy the experience. This Sunday we were less than satisfied. The table next to us had ordered the same order as myself and my husband. Even though they were seated much later than us, our order was given to their table, which was awkward as the third person at their table didn’t receive their order. So, then they brought out my husbands sausage side with no pancakes. We realized what happened and said as much as it was obvious as their third person also had no food. Eventually we were served and did receive another order of sausage as by the time the entree arrived the first order was cold. I ordered Shrimp and Grits. I complained as my entree contained only 3 very small shrimp. I was told this was a standard number for this dish. I have had this dish before and am sure they downsized. I am a small woman and I left hungry. Not good. The manager did give us a $20 gift certificate as I complained but I would rather have had a better portioned meal. If you order this dish at brunch beware of the small portion.
The mussels and crab cake appetizers were great. Loved the scallops entree and the Apple crisp dessert. Our server was great.
The food and waitstaff were wonderful, but our food took nearly 90 minutes to come out on a recent Friday night. We had a babysitter at home and were very stressed that it took so much longer than expected. It was clear that the slowdown was in the kitchen, but very little was done to ensure our comfort or acknowledge the fact that we waited so long. We will try it again another time because the food was wonderful, but hope they can improve this aspect.
