The Red Feather
Great food. Everything was very fresh. Salads crisp. The bead is soo.. good! Had the scallops and were the best I've had in a long time. Red Feather is my new favorite restaurant.
Always, excellent service and food whether it be Brunch or Dinner. Consistency is hard to come by and Red Feather is on spot. We love bringing out of town friends here because we always know that they will love it just as much as we do! Wonderful staff from the hosts to the management. Thank you!
I took my wife to the Red Feather for "date night" and it was absolutely a great decision. This is THE place to go for a perfect evening with someone special
The red feather is the over all best in Cincinnati. We eat out quite a lot but this place is special.
Service was extremely slow. Over two hours, with nothing requiring long cooking times. Food was interesting but not worth the slow wait for the entrees
Delicious food and great service!
Red Feather is consistently a great dining experience. From the Mules to the pork chop to the great service, Red Feather is one of our fav restaurants in Cincy!
Amazing food and service as always from Brad and his crew.
We have enjoyed Red Feather every other visit but this was not our best experience there. Our service was mediocre at best. Wine was served without offering a taste and sloppily poured. Our server was a nice guy but seemed either new our out of his element. Our food was just not great when usually it's to die for. Don't love that back room. We will chalk it up to an off night
Went to Red Feather as we hadn’t been in quite some time to try something new for a birthday dinner....usually we go to Boca or Sotto. Had a reservation for 7:30p for five, promptly seated. Excellent server, water, waitstaff in general, even the valet guy but we were terribly disappointed in our food. Didn’t help that we waited 90 minutes for it to arrive???? Salads were good, fresh. Burgers were above average but nothing to write home about. I had shrimp tacos and cauliflower soup which were both very good!! My husband had the spatchcock chicken and it was awful - looked beautiful but had absolutely no flavor, moist but no flavor, not even a chicken flavor just nothing as did the polenta underneath. It was bizarre and unexpected. Also the pumpkin risotto was awful and we didn’t even eat, texture was like baby food mushy and too sweet. Overall we were surprisingly very disappointed in the whole experience with the exception of the staff and my meal. Not sure we’ll be back very soon.
Excellent meal and service
Food and service was excellent as always.
Was looking for a place for date night and decided to try The Red Feather, was definitely an awesome choice. We sat at the chef's table and enjoyed watching all the action. The attention to detail to everything that went out was impeccable, and the team worked flawlessly. The food was incredible with amazing flavors. Everything we had was spot on, and every bite was as good as the first. Also, if you want to experience the best customer service, you have to go. I would highly recommend this restaurant. From the moment you walk in you see the attention to detail and it carries through the entire restaurant. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend it. Don't miss out.
We had a fantastic brunch at Red Feather. Everything we ate was really tasty. Definitely one of the best brunches in Cincinnati.
I struggle with this review because the food is usually extremely good, but I fast during most days and workout, so often I leave here still hungry. The portions are so small for even a salad, which is one of my favorites anywhere. Everyone needs to eat more dark, green, leafy vegetables, so why skimp? For example, we shared the roasted olives (the BEST), I ordered the TINY garden salad with no egg, and the scallops (3 for $39), and I needed more food after a rather expensive meal. We will eat here, again, because the food is quite tasty, but does explain why it is not our go-to weekend restaurant.
The service was terrible and we waited over an hour and a half for our food! The food portions were incredibly small, it was so disappointing. We will NOT be going back!
Food and wine were great! Takes a long time, but that’s due to style of kitchen
Excellent food and service. We will definitely be back!
Excellent food and service. Things were cooked exactly the way we we requested. Couldn’t of had a better time. Thanks Redfeather
The preset menu was extremely small portions for a place that sells burgers on its regular menu. $75 a person for roughly 10 bites of food is a bit aggressive. I’m positive we could have had an amazing steak dinner at Ruby’s down there road for the over $300 we ended up spending. We will go again but never with a preset menu.
Red feather is always a wonderful time! Excellent food with top notch service! Red feather is one of my favorite places.
I was disappointed because this place has been great before. It was Valentine’s weekend. Several issues. They changed to price fix menu after I had made reservation. The service was slow(2 hours for dinner) One of courses was barely above room temp. I would not come back on busy day.
A very enjoyable experience. Staff is well versed and very knowledgeable. Attentive and not hovering. Enjoyed the pre fixe menu on valentines weekend. A couple small misses which the staff more than made up for. We look forward to trying the next dinner menu.
An Amazing Valentines dinner! Electric went out! Yet they managed spectacularly! Had a wonderful night, thank you!
Red Feather never disappoints. Especially for an amazing date night.
Ambience(main dining room) and food are excellent.Have never had a bad experience
Only semi issue was the cocktail I ordered. I didn’t like it and our server let me order another one — no charge. He took the cocktail I did not care for away. Great service!
The food and service were excellent, Jaime was our waiter and he was excellent as well, knowledgeable and attentive, patient. We enjoyed our evening very much.
We have been to the Red Feather 4 or 5 times and it is consistently very good. great atmosphere, great food in a nice environment.
Overall it was another great experience generally. The service was excellent, and most of our food was very good.
We did have the crab cake, which was unfortunately cool in the middle and somewhat dense, like it was made days previously. A bit disappointing given our other positive experiences.
My husband had the lamb chop and it was terrible! He had one bite and was finished. Great service, etc...
I made reservations at this neighborhood restaurant to celebrate my father in laws birthday, and what a big surprise! The aroma in the restaurant was an instant sense awakening! Everything from that point on exceeded my expectations. The service, food and the ambiance was spot on for a birthday celebration. I highly recommend The Red Feather for lunch or dinner, and for any celebration. Life is to be celebrated, so make a reservation and go celebrate! The Red Feather will not disappoint. Thank you to Brad the owner and chef as he introduced himself on Saturday, which added to our experience. Thank you as well for making my father in laws birthday quite the surprise!!!!!
Everything was absolutely delicious! And the service was great too. Looking forward to next time !
First dinner out post baby
The food was wonderful! Would highly recommend the scallops!
Relaxed, fun, great food
The service was great; the ambience is nice. It was a bit noisy, but tolerable. The cheese board was good and then the entree came. The lamb and broccoli I were tasteless and the fried onions were greasy. Second time this has happened. Wondering if it’s a new chef, new crew or what. Not worth the significant price. Will choose another restaurant the next time I do a business dinner.
Food is always delicious. Totally worth the wait.
Food was great (freshly prepared, high quality) as was the ambiance of the restaurant. Yet, I would have given it a much higher overall rating but for the mediocre service. It began with the hostess trying to seat us at a cramped 2-top at the edge of the steps, next to a large occupied table - when there were a half dozen other available tables in open, private space. She did accommodate a request to change. The waiter then made me a bit skeptical when I ordered coffee to accompany my main course and he essentially warned me he may need to be reminded (really, that's my job?). Sure enough, he forget the coffee until I reminded him when he checked in after our mains were delivered. Then we never saw him or anyone else again - I couldn't BEG my way into another cup of coffee to finish my meal. I get that brunch is not a favorite shift to work and we were there at the end, when wait staff is focused on side work. But this is a sad way to spoil all the hard work of the kitchen.
Everything about it was perfect! Brad is an amazing chef. The pork belt melted in your mouth. Everything we had was delicious. Definitely a must try!
