Our server Linda was pleasant.. although she very busy.. she took great care of us. The food was outstanding… two of us had a tenderloin filet.. cooked to perfection. The other had duck! She said it was amazing. Fun Jimmy Buffet music. Perfect outside weather. Can’t wait to go again..

Having had great experiences at The Real McCaw a couple of times, I was looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner there. We booked a table for 4 with friends. Unfortunately, the meal was very disappointing. The turkey was not sliced - it was more like hunks and it tasted stewed rather than roasted. All of the sides just tasted mushy. My husband ordered the salmon which was served with the same sides as the turkey - didn't really make sense. Soup was tasty but not hot enough. Pie was good but needed ice cream or something more than a teaspoon of whipped cream. Our friends were very disappointed. Also we were sat right by the entertainment which was good but so loud that we had to almost shout to hear each other. Over dinner, it would be much nicer to have background music. Also it was very strange that the restaurant was supposed to be sold out and yet it only seemed like 25% of tables at most were occupied.

We have had good experiences in the past, but Sat. night with the 10 people we had, the service was slow, food when it finally came was lukewarm or cool. (sitting too long?) One person didn't get her meal (salad) until the rest of us were almost done. Quite disappointed in the Real McCaw, as it's had been fun in the past. It will be a while before we return.

We have been to this restaurant approx 10 times over the past 5 years. We really enjoy the “key west” atmosphere - ambiance is just terrific. Service is excellent as well. However, the food has been a “B” at best. We tried the bouillabaisse fish stew - the special on the menu. The sauce was a rather thick gravy - almost like turkey gravy - which overpowered the fish. In fairness we should I have sent it back but decided to try it, but it was too ‘heavy’. Anyway, we’ll still go back but our advice is to set your expectations accordingly.

Small, casual place with bar/outside seating in an attractive courtyard, and small indoor restaurant. Parking extremely limited. Food 7/10 - some flavorful fish options ( seafood scampi and nut encrusted salmon were above average ); specialty drinks were refreshing. Service fair/friendly but not too attentive, and the busboy ( although friendly) had disgustingly gross black dirt encrusted under his fingernails - needless to say this was less than appetizing… 😩

Hi! Thank you for your review. Glad you enjoyed the Salmon and the Scampi, those are two of our customer's favorite dishes. Our busser's day job is painting truck bed liners which often leaves a dark stain on his nails I could see as being mis-categorized as unhygienic. I can assure you, like other employees, we take hygiene and hand-washing very seriously. He's tried a number of scrubs and soap to make it go away but unfortunately it's just a stain and can't be helped. To make the experience better for customers, he will wear latex gloves going forward during service. Regarding parking, we do have a tight lot and thankfully, there is a beautiful new, free parking lot 20 yards south of the restaurant at the corner of Coco and Bayshore Drive.

For the first time Real Macaw let us down. Husband's salad didn't show up and entree had to be sent back as it cane out cold. Restaurant did the right thing by taking his entree off the bill. That said, we will go back

This is a favorite spot, and we will continue to support the place but staffing issues are negatively affecting service. Our server was stressed and irritable. There were only two waitstaff handling the entire place. Orders were getting mixed up. We arrived early but many apps were already not available. We're super low maintenance customers, and sympathetic; hopefully they resolve the problem soon.

Hi fellow Cape Codder! (I'm originally from Orleans!) I'm so sorry you had a just okay experience. To be transparent, we were much busier than we'd been historically the Saturday before you dined with us on Sunday night. We use fresh, not frozen, ingredients and made from scratch sauces, which means we sold out of several appetizers and were unable to reorder in time for a Sunday delivery. As you probably know being from the Cape, when season hits changes slightly every year and we were both delighted and caught by surprise at the sudden influx of guests. We've since re-calibrated our deliveries and staffing to meet the volume and appreciate your helpful feedback. Absolutely delicious food! Very well paced Our waiter was amazing, but unfortunately cannot remember her name! We sat outdoors that had tables with white linen tablecloths. It was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed from Begi ing at 6:00 PM & leaving at 9:00 PM! Everyone was friendly, welcoming & appreciative of our being at The Real McCaw! We will return for sure!

We had a reservation and were seated right away. Sat inside and it was quiet. Service was outstanding and our server was knowledgable and attentive. My wife ordered the salmon and I had the seafood linguine that had shrimp and small scallops. The salmon portion was very nice, but undercooked (she ordered medium). My shrimp and scallops were both on the small side and were also undercooked. We have been to The Real Macaw several times and never experienced undercooked food. It was edible, but not the best. The server noticed the meals were undercooked and comped my wife's glass of wine. I am sure the food was a minor hiccup. We'll definitely be back.

The Real McCaw is our favorite restaurant in Naples! Period! The food, service, setting is always outstanding. The summer specials, and customer Prix Fixe menus are a deal, but even on their full priced menu, they can't be beat. My all time favorite is the duck and the onion soup, but I have eaten my way through most of their menu items and everything has been delicious. They do "specials" often to keep things fresh and new as well. There are many places to eat in Naples, but The Real McCaw always feels like home. Since we are regulars, we know all the wait staff and they recognize us, as does the owner. They make you feel valued, never rush you, and the food is consistently outstanding, so what's not to love?

The Real Macaw is a true 'find'. Food is wonderful: flavor, appearance, unique inspirations and perfectly cooked. The staff: delightful, attentive - not too present but not neglected. The dining area - lovely, open garden with a very Caribbean vibe. I had driven by several times wondering about his place - then we tried it last winter - and have returned several times with complete delight each time!

We had a great time taking friends out to repay them for watching our dog. The salmon was delicious and although we were not early enough for the prixe fix, it was nice that you made this arrangement during the month. You grew your customer list I'm sure.
