New management and chef - the food was not nearly as good this time as last - and they didn't honor the Open Table reservation - said they're no longer participating.

The food was good, drinks were flowing, was a good menu mix from sandwiches to dinners. Service was wonderful, the only thing I can say is the air conditioning needs to be upgraded, we were very warm throughout the entire dinner, even our waiter was sweating. Not a nice look for someone who is serving food.

The place and service was great. One problem was that they were out of half the things on the menu.

The party of 12 next to us was so loud that we asked to be moved.

When we arrived we were led to a table against a wall when there were 6 open tables at the window overlooking the garden. We asked if we could be moved and it was as if we were annoying the staff. We were left hanging at the table until we were told that we could move to one of the tables by the window. The server pointed to the table and apparently we were expected to pick up our menus and lead ourselves to the new table - which we did.
That was an unfortunate way to begin the evening because from that point on we had a bad impression.
But Jack, our server, was able to overcome that. His personality, efficiency and knowledge of the menu was very much appreciated.
If the Raven wants to compete with comparably priced restaurants, they need to clean up their act because we will not be in a hurry to spend our next $300 there.

The service and restaurant settings are all pretty good. However the food is not great. My wife order Crispy Duck. It is tasteless and very tough to eat. She gave up after a couple of bites. I ordered Quiche Lorraine. The portion is tiny. No taste . Cold and stale.

We enjoyed The Raven for a recent Mother's Day family celebration. A friend had recommended it to me and I was glad he did. It was great! We ate inside, but outside would have been just as good, if not better. The food, ambiance, and overall environment was great. Most of all, my wife loved it! We will be back.

This restaurant is not for every life-style so be warned before making your reservation. Once you get past that the food and service is quite good. The duck pate is amazing. The staff from the most experienced the the first timers all work very hard are friendly (but not too friendly) and you really have a dining vs. dinner experience.
