The Rattlesnake Club Ratings and Reviews
I had booked a 630pm dinner reservation for my wife and I to celebrate a belated Valentines Day. We arrived and found out it was reztaurant week, which was okay but it would've been nice to know that before coming. First, the menu was so limited and allowed no substitions. The food was absolutely disgusting. I sent back my steak TWICE and it was still raw and not cooked the way I asked (medium well). Customer service was medicore and I was not impressed. For a 120+ bill for two people, I was atleast expecting a decent dinner. I did not even eat my food - I went to the pub down the street and had a $20 dinner that was amazing compared to the rattlesnack. I DO NOT recommend....
Everytime we have gone, my wife and I have enjoyed the ever-changing and seasonal menus. Ingredients are creatively, and beautifully arranged. Excellent service that is attentive but not intrusive. Great wine menu, and dishes that are always fresh, and expertly prepared.
Very nice atmosphere overall, employees were extremely catering and hospitable. However, for the price, I was hoping for a better riverfront view for my Valentine’s Day date. The masks on the wall we were seated next to were a little tacky; I had expected better scenery. The lamb was a little bland, however the beef plate with blue cheese was delicious, as were the fried brussel sprouts. The wine was very good, however we were not aware that wine Wednesday does not apply on holidays. Overall, a nice date, even if a little overpriced.
Great place for my son's 30th birth dinner. I have not been to this place for at least 20 years. I have to say it is still a very high-quality establishment. If you haven't been here in a while, like me, I would highly recommend a return visit. You won't be disappointed
My wife and I enjoyed the food, the choice of wines and beers. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly as well as sincere. Nice waiting lobby area. Outdoor dining was closed because of winter, but looks like it would be a cool spot in the summer. The appetizers were wonderful. Parking was confusing, it was not ckearly expressed where we could park. I liked the art work on the walls.
LOVE Rattlesnake. This was the 2nd time we had a large table reservation for NYE and the service, fair and drink/wine lists are amazing. And the way the staff just “makes it happen” if you want to try something unique or different - like doing your own champagne sabering on the patio! - they are yes before no! Thank you for another very special and memorial evening with the friends and loved ones I care about!
Four of us met for lunch this week. We were served by an outstanding waiter(Brandon) who was very knowledgeable about the wines and menu. He gave us the leisurely lunch we wished for to catch up with friends, but he was attentive to needs (more wine!). The menu items we chose from appetizers to dessert were terrific. We always have an enjoyable meal at the ‘Snake. We appreciated not being seated near large parties too. Highly recommend!
Will never return to this restaurant. HORRIBLE service. Manger did her best to make things better by comping the entire bill. So many things went wrong and I am limited to the amount of space I have to write in this column.
This is no longer a 5 star restaurant unfortunately. I really feel bad for the management and ownership. This restaurant will surely close in the near future.
Everyone was awesome from the greeter to the host to the person serving us water. Our glasses were never less than half full. And it never felt as if our table host was intrusive nor did we ever have to hurry and chew because of him asking a question right after we put food into our mouth. Absolutely memorable.
I was really expecting more. The interior of the restaurant is nothing special, at all. Had you not seen the prices, you'd assume the average entree' cost is $14. The food was way over priced and way under portioned. The food wasn't bad at all, but definitely not worth the price. It was pretty loud, with no intimate settings at all, all the chairs and tables and booths face each other. The waiter was nice but thats about it. This was an alright place to try but I don't expect to be returning.
I was very disappointed that a restaurant would run out of rib eye steaks at 8:00 pm on a Saturday on Sweetest day and to top it off our waiter was rude because we expressed our displeasure. Service was very slow. The manager did offer us appetizers and desserts it was my birthday and I was really bummed about the whole experience. The rattlesnake ain’t what it used to be . Our server is in the wrong job he does not have temperament or professionalism for customer service work. Needs more training .
We used to love the Rattlesnake. We got engaged there 13 years ago. It is not the same. Jimmy Schmitt sold it and you can tell. Servers no longer wear tuxes. The elegance is gone and so is the quality of the food. Our meal was good but not great. Our calamari appetizer was fishy tasting and we told the waiter. He took them away but not off the bill. People around us were dressed in sweats with their underwear hanging out. It was disappointing, especially when you're spending the same Rattlesnake prices. We probably won't be back.
The Rattlesnake Club has a wonderful heritage of top-shelf dining. We got in early on a quiet Saturday night. The wine selection was reasonable as were the cocktails. There is a local emphasis on the menu and we enjoyed the appetizer cheese selection. My wife and I both had steaks - properly prepared medium rare - and I added shrimp. Nicely spiced without taking away from the character of the shrimp.
We passed on dessert. Coffee was great. Rebecca, our server, was very attentive and her support team brought out dishes which were hot and flavorful.
It was a nice dinner. When you are going to spend $250+, you should have high expectations. The Rattlesnake club met those expectations for us.
