We have always wanted to dine here, as it is an iconic Detroit restaurant. We very much enjoyed our meal ... the steaks were spot on. The prices seemed a bit higher and portions were a bit smaller than what we would typically pay for at other high-end restaurants, thus the 4-star rating.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food, great wine list, and fun cocktails.
Excellent food, very nice by the water and terrific cocktails.
Amazing food, service, and ambience. Looking forward to coming in the summer to sit outside.
Stopped in during Restaurant Week because we’ve never been before. Delicious food, outstanding service.
We dined at the Rattlesnake Club during Detroit Restaurant Week - the food, service and ambiance was amazing! From the moment we entered the restaurant to the time we left it was amazing experience. We will be back!
Service was very good. Went for Restaurant week. Food was very good but my serving of the duck was very small.
Visited The Rattlesnake after a long absence, to celebrate hubbies Birthday. It was wonderful. Not only was the food great, but our waiter, Brandon was as well. Will absolutely return to The Rattlesnake!
Went to the restaurant after seeing they were offering a Detroit Restaurant Week menu. Easy to get a reservation at our desired time and they had our table ready within two minutes of arrival. We were really surprised to learn once we were seated that they were not offering their normal menu in addition to Restaurant Week options. Thankfully, we were happy with the limited menu options. Our selections (spaghetti squash with vegetables and the salmon) were delicious! Restaurant was perfect for conversation and a leisurely meal. I would definitely return!
Rattlesnake remains our favorite "go-to" place for noting special occasions or events!
The Rattlesnake Club never disappoints. We were delighted to see it on the Detroit Restaurant Week list, and took advantage of the special menu offerings. We especially enjoyed the outstanding appetizer (crab cakes) and unique dessert (raspberry martini), along with the always perfectly-prepared prime rib. It's a rather long drive for me, but surely was worth every mile.
Good food good service.
We were there for Detroit Restaurant Week. The food was delicious. Our server Brandon was great! I will definitely be back.
I took a date here for Detroit Restaurant Week and was not disappointed. The hostess was very friendly and seated us promptly. The food was fantastic and worth the price we paid for the three course meal. The service fairly quick while also being unobtrusive enough to talk without a waiter interrupting you every 3 minutes.
Great food, great service
Outstanding evening celebrating my sister's birthday during restaurant week. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The food was good. Great evening.
we went to this restaurant because it was a participant in Michigan Restaurant Week. We have always chosen the Rattlesnake because the service and food is always good and the cost is reasonable.
My server barely came and check on us. We had to wave him down to let him know we was ready for the bill. We supposed to receive desert but due to the pool service I told them to keep it because I was ready to leave.
Absolutely beautiful! Dining first class!
The food was great!! The service was great!! The ambience was great!!
AMAZING FOOD GOOD PORTION AND EXCELLENT SERVICE THIS IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANTS!!!
I had booked a 630pm dinner reservation for my wife and I to celebrate a belated Valentines Day. We arrived and found out it was reztaurant week, which was okay but it would've been nice to know that before coming. First, the menu was so limited and allowed no substitions. The food was absolutely disgusting. I sent back my steak TWICE and it was still raw and not cooked the way I asked (medium well). Customer service was medicore and I was not impressed. For a 120+ bill for two people, I was atleast expecting a decent dinner. I did not even eat my food - I went to the pub down the street and had a $20 dinner that was amazing compared to the rattlesnack. I DO NOT recommend....
Great place and great food. We went during the Detroit Restaurant Week and the menu was fantastic with great service. I arrived about 15min before my reservation time and they were accommodating and gave us a table right away.
We visited during Restaurant Week which meant our menu choices were limited to three appetizers, four entrees and three dessert choices. The salad and dessert I chose were acceptable but the entree itself was very good. Our waitress was rather awkward and didn’t bring a side order my husband had asked for, and took a long time to refill a cocktail order. Her wine service was clumsy as well, pouring wine for people who didn’t want their wine yet. The setting is awesome and the interior was beautiful. Just not sure I would give them another chance.
Wasn't impressed. Food was good, but nothing spectacular. Server did her job well, but had no interest in her clientele. For $150 meal for two I expected more.
Great food and service! Would definitely go eat here again...
Not impressed with the overall menu
Everytime we have gone, my wife and I have enjoyed the ever-changing and seasonal menus. Ingredients are creatively, and beautifully arranged. Excellent service that is attentive but not intrusive. Great wine menu, and dishes that are always fresh, and expertly prepared.
I find this place to be a Special spot— I just love it
Excellent meal, had the wild caught salmon, mushroom risotto, and brocollini. Everything delicious. Husband had prime rib. Smelled wonderful and he really enjoyed his meal. Done to perfection.
Great staff - friendly, helpful. Good food and atmosphere
Very nice atmosphere overall, employees were extremely catering and hospitable. However, for the price, I was hoping for a better riverfront view for my Valentine’s Day date. The masks on the wall we were seated next to were a little tacky; I had expected better scenery. The lamb was a little bland, however the beef plate with blue cheese was delicious, as were the fried brussel sprouts. The wine was very good, however we were not aware that wine Wednesday does not apply on holidays. Overall, a nice date, even if a little overpriced.
Great place for my son's 30th birth dinner. I have not been to this place for at least 20 years. I have to say it is still a very high-quality establishment. If you haven't been here in a while, like me, I would highly recommend a return visit. You won't be disappointed
the food was horrible everything tasted greasy or oily
We loved everything. Our food was fantastic and our server was great! We will come back soon.
My wife and I enjoyed the food, the choice of wines and beers. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly as well as sincere. Nice waiting lobby area. Outdoor dining was closed because of winter, but looks like it would be a cool spot in the summer. The appetizers were wonderful. Parking was confusing, it was not ckearly expressed where we could park. I liked the art work on the walls.
Disappointing event. Normally a favorite
Place. Food fair. Waiter in a hurry. Ended up with an $8 bottle of water we didn't want bc of language barrier with server. Waited 20 mins to give our drink order. Didn't meet expectations this time
Simply the best & romantic restaurant in Detroit. Superb food, service and ambiance.
Stuffy with unfriendly servers. The only person who was personable was the lady giving bread and water.
