I enjoyed the food, but I didn’t receive any rolls with the dinner. The waitress hardly checked on us. And when she did she put our food in Togo boxes but failed to put the sides in the container. She talked to the table next to us which wasn’t her table, but hardly checked on us.
Dinner was good. Steak was delicious and the bread pudding was out of this world. The server was nice however we were rushed thru every course (even thou she said she wasn’t rushing us every time she wisked things away); however, according to the restaurant the Open Table reservation had us sitting outside as everything was booked inside (it was 45 degrees outside!), so a couple of days ahead, the restaurant notified us of the problem and accommodated us at an earlier time inside. Since it was a graduation celebration, I appreciated their willingness to help, but I didn’t expect to be so rushed at such a pricey restaurant.
Once again the Ranchers provided an ideal location to discuss a business proposition. Even though it was lunch our seating was such that the conversation was easy and not stressed to hear within the group or imagining that others were able to hear our discussion. The food was amazing and the service great!
We enjoyed the ambiance of the State Room lounge while waiting in the rest of our group to arrive. It was relaxing & comfortable. Our service there & in the dining room was excellent. Meal was good—Salmon & steaks. Pecan balls for dessert were a real treat. I think we’ve found our new special occasion spot!
I definitely enjoyed a nice night out at Rancher's Club with a group of friends and it couldn't have been better due to our fantastic waitress, Hannah Moers. She always made sure we were satisfied and she was very polite throughout our shenanigans. We always enjoy our time at Ranchers Club but Hannah made it our best experience yet.
I was looking for a romantic fine dining experience for my girlfriend's birthday and found it at the Rancher's Club. From the historic entryway to the end of the meal, everything was top rate. The food was exceptional, the staff was courteous and attentive, and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic dinner. I would recommend the Rancher's Club to anyone looking for a high quality dining experience.
Food was amazing. We were anle to get a reservation for the next day but they were atill pretty busy. Our waitress had a table of ten to twelve which she seemed to focus on, often forgetting about us. Different servers would occasionally stop to fill our drinks. Overall 4 star.
This place is beautiful and I love supporting our OSU students. It is overpriced, which should be expected as there aren’t too many fine dining places in Stillwater. Our waitress was good, but I didn’t get the feeling that she had confidence in the pairings. She described the Salmon to me and when she described the way the rice was prepared she started by explaining that a substitution for the side dish of rice is available. It didn’t come off negative but she wasn’t “selling me” on the rice when it was actually a great side.
I had the salmon which was good, but slightly over cooked. My wife had the smoked duck carbonara which was not bad, but had no seasoning and didn’t really taste “smoked”.
They were also very flexible with us to accommodate us even though we were a little late because of the football game running behind.
The food is excellent here and so is the service. The normal prices aren't too bad for lunch either, unless you want to change things up a bit. There are two salads on the menu, a Fall Cobb with bacon, avocado, egg, buttermilk dressing, etc. and a Vegas Steak Salad with croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers, champagne dressing, sliced Vegas steak, etc. Both salads were the same price - $10. I wanted the Fall Cobb, but with the steak instead of the bacon and the champagne dressing instead of the buttermilk dressing. The waiter told me there would be an "upcharge" for the steak instead of the bacon, and I said fine because that was what I wanted. I should have asked how much of an upcharge; it was $5. Really? Half the price of the salad, when the 2 salads started out the same price? I thought that was excessive. But I hadn't asked the price. so I just paid it and learned my lesson.
