The Ranchers Club
As always, excellent experience from hostess (Olimpia!) to delightful server (Amy) and of course, the food was wonderful.
Been several times, and I’ve tried almost every side dish- all are terrible. From undercooked potatoes to bland vegetables, it’s a waste of time and money.
We were very impressed from the moment we walked in. Staff was very personable. Our waiter never missed a beat. Our dinner was over the top. We tried every appetizers on the menu, minus the duck. Your charcuterie board was something our of a magazine and delicious. Our steaks were perfectly cooked. Will definitely refer you to friends and family. We will be back.
The food was amazing. However our waitress was rather slow, and she brought all of our food out at the same time. I would have preferred my salad before my meal.
Thirty-some OSU track team mates from the late 60s spent an evening of reunion in Stillwater after a half-century of obscurity from each other. The Ranchers Club was the perfect venue. The richly paneled walls with paintings of landmark Oklahoma ranches set the tone for rich and familiar conversations that swelled over plates full of prime beef, well cooked, and bottles of high-grade wine. Service can make or break a dining experience. As I circulated among our six tables, multiple servers arrived and departed. Gracious, smiling and knowledgeable, these young people helped shoot our much-anticipated evening over-the-moon. The Property Manager Jim Bernard stopped by to chat it up with us and to make sure that we were satisfied with our eperience. Satisfied, for sure. And beholding to all the staff that made our night one for the ages.
This was the first time we stayed at the Atherton and tried the Ranchers Club. We were very pleased; the quality of the dinner equals steak houses in Dallas. Our grandson is attending OSU so we will be back.
We had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time. The chair they seated me at was badly broken so I had to wait for them to find another. The rib eye was fairly tough, undercooked on one end and charred on the other. It had a good flavor but definitely not a $48 steak. None of the students that were dining there adhered to the “business casual” they say they enforce. The best thing about it was the lack of loud music.
This restaurant is definitely 1st Class all the way! Ambience is wonderful, love the ranch decor, especially since we live it every day! Food is wonderful, highly recommend.
It was fair, and more expensive that it should be. Nice waiters!
Food was delicious and dessert was decadent. Service was very kind and patient. Good environment for finer dining in a college town.
The best steak in the county! The Rancher’s Club is a gem - the food is fabulous and the ambiance is stellar.
Always good service
Have been just a few times now. It is a great experience and probably one of the better restaurants in Stillwater. The Ribeye could have been a thicker cut (it had a large surface area but was thinner than I'd prefer). Being involved with the cattle industry, I know this is becoming more commonplace, but I would hope that the meat buyer would be a little more picky for the price I paid for the steak. Our other entree was salmon and it was delicious. Service and ambiance were great (until the end when a group of frat boys was seated in the table next to us, being obnoxious to the servers and using language that I prefer not hear while dining at a nice establishment).
Always enjoy dining there because the college kids that work there as hosts ,wait staff and bartenders always try very hard to please the customer ;its really refreshing
Vivian our waitress was great! The birthday card was a great touch on table. Thank you for the great service!
Food and service was great if you have extra meal plan money or you want to visit with your family or friends I would totally recommend coming here!
It was great
The steaks were outstanding! I had a filet-very tender and flavorful with garlic butter sauce- and my husband had a delicious ribeye that he raved about. Atmosphere was casual and inviting creating a very pleasant experience. . Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. The bread pudding topped off a truly delicious meal. Highly recommend.
It was wonderful, no complaints what so ever.
One filet was very bad, it was a poor cut with a lot of veins in it.
Our dog found it acceptable though.
Great service. Good steaks
One of the best steaks I've ever eaten. My wife had the halibut and it was just as good
Poor value. The food was average at best but came with a hefty price tag. I'm not a cheapskate; I've eaten at some fine, upscale restaurants, and don't mind paying for a fine meal. This particular restaurant does not qualify, in my opinion. My wife had a caesar salad (like you'd get anywhere), roast chicken which was tough and difficult to detach from the bone. Tasted fine, but no one likes to wrestle with their entree. The potato au gratin-like side was under-cooked and tasted strange. I had salmon, which was very good, with rice pilaf (hard to mess that up) and sauteed broccolini which was also a bit under-cooked. Dessert was the best part of the meal -- a three-layer chocolate cake/vanilla creme/chocolate mousse treat which was delicious. All that for $101.00 plus tip. You could get the same thing, probably better, at a place like Charlestons for a lot less. Doubt that we'll be back.
It was fabulous! Absolutely worth moving our departure back a day to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday there.
Rancher’s Club is always great!
Great food and service. Had to ask to be moved because table next to us was overly loud. We were accommodated without problem.
We are regulars ... a few comments
The lettuce in the Vegas salad was old and yellow; very little blue cheese dressing - had to request more which is very unusual
We were charged for sides? Our server said we got sides w our entre ... but the bill charged us for sides
This was our anniversary and we requested a pecan ball for dessert when we made the reservation. Our server confirmed that when we arrived. In the past, we were given the dessert gratis which was a very nice thing. Not this time ... we were charged for our dessert
Our entrees were excellent but the above concerned us and was unlike other visits.

Usual excellent meal with attentive service and classic surroundings.
My friend treated me to my birthday lunch here and it was perfect.
Our reservation was 30 minutes behind due to large party ahead of us.
Great job for my Sons Graduation luncheon with Family ! The young waitress was excellent, very polite, and always attentive when needed ! Her name begins with an M could her name be Madi ? Check our res time of 13:30 on last Saturday to commend her please !
Our Son, graduated with a BS in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Agribusiness and we have enjoyed visiting and dining here over the years !
Two words: Zac Mullins. Best server I've ever had. Needed more bread? Zac got it done. Needed a refill? Zac got it done. Needed reccomendations? Zac got it done. Zac is the backbone of Rancher's Club, it should be called Zac's Club. If the world had more servers like Zac, it'd be a better place. Zac would go out to the ranch, find a cow, and take it to the slaughterhouse just to ensure I had the freshest steak possible. I wouldn't be surprised if he made the bread himself, because he is the epitome of a hard-working American.
I had lunch here with my son to burn some meal plan money. The ambiance was really nice...loved that each booth had the name of an Oklahoma ranch above it. The service was impeccable. The food was very good. Will definitely come back for dinner.
Great place The staff is awesome Food is always perfect😊
We went to the Ranchers Club because our daughter needed to use her meal plan. We had expectations that it would be really good. Service was very good. My steak (ordered well done) was torched on the outside, burnt, and pink on the inside with absolutely no flavor. My husbands steak was cooked properly but again, no flavor. The best part of the meal was bread and dessert. We will not return again at dinner. At those prices (around $50 each for a steak), you expect an excellent steak. We may try the lunch menu if she has funds to spend in the future. Definitely would not return at dinner again.
Wonderful staff and food!!!
Filet was over cooked, and service to pride drinks was slow.
Very good food. Loved the rib eye. The whipped potatoes were marvelous
Had the prime rib. It was barely warm. Wedge salad was okay but not what I was expecting. Had high hopes for this place and they were plenty busy, but it didn’t deliver.
We enjoyed a delicious birthday lunch with family. Making a reservation was easy and efficient. Great prices on their lunch entrees!
