Beautiful restaurant, great ambiance and overall enjoyable dining experience.
Food was great. Different selections than what you get other places. Overall a lot of fun
The food is amazing. The queso blanco is the best queso I have ever had and the Chicken Fried Steam is amazing.
Love the food but if your want to be able to carry on a conversation over dinner forget it. You will basically have to scream to each other. It didn’t use to be this way but I think they crammed more seating into the rooms and now the noise letter is out of control. Will be seeking another business dinner and lunch location.
Recommended to us by our daughter who is a big Cowboys fan, but lives in Montana--were at the Green Bay game and went to the Ranch and could not stop bragging about it. Since I love good food and virtually make eating a hobby--I had to go to the Ranch and took my cousins who live in Farmers Branch--the Ranch exceeded expectations! Can't wait for my return to Big D--the Ranch will be one of my first stops--amazing food.
I always have a great experience at The Ranch. When I introduce colleagues to The Ranch they are always pleased with the food, service and atmosphere.
Our server recommended the crab dip appetizer and the venison chili with cornbread. Both were outstanding. Filet was disappointing, as the seasoning was a bit odd and the quality of the 6 oz cut wasn't worth $29. Wife had the fried chicken which she enjoyed. All of the sides were excellent. Pecan pie was tasty, but they keep it cold or frozen and nuke it before serving, so the temp was and flavor were inconsistent. Sweet tea was excellent. Will definitely return for the chili and cornbread.
our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable with wine selection.
The biggest reason I come to the Ranch is the fact I can make reservations. And the food is great also.
The waiter, Nolan, was excellent. We laughed a lot. The drinks were amazingly. Really wonderful experience.
I really enjoyed this place for dinner. The food was good and the staff was awesome. Our waitress made great drink and food recommendations since it was our first time. We also were there just in time for live music on the patio.
Everything was fantastic and a good value. I was quite impressed with the roasted chicken. It takes a well-run kitchen to knock out roasted chicken at this volume.
Molly was amazing. Celinda was also very sweet. Thank you for a nice time.
Nice, but i was charged dinner prices for my lunch fish selection.
The steak is great. Has been added to my top favorite steak places in Dallas. 33oz Tomahawk steak is what made me want to try this place out. The inside is loud but outside patio on a good day is perfect. Dark inside as well. Service was great outside. Not sure about the inside. Would go again.
Loved the food selection! Can’t wait to take my husband! Real food - lots of meat!
Got there at 7:15 for a 7:30 reservation. Got seated around 7:50. Food was excellent, generous portions, but pretty loud inside and out on the pavilion. Not a place to go have a quiet dinner, but very festive and unique food offerings. Would definitely recommend to others wanting good food and great service.
There are only two reasons I didn’t give 5 stars all around. They messed up their version of the Moscow mule. Had too much citrus. And the meatloaf was a bit dry. Other than that, our meal was just about perfect. Starters: Elk Tacos, Venison Chili, and Tortilla Soup. All were tasty and spot on. The Elk Tacos were amazing. Try them. Mains were Smoked Fried Chicken and Chipotle Meatloaf. Chicken was moist and skin was crispy. Seasoned perfectly. Sides were great. Warm potato salad and their version of slaw. Very nice. As I said, the meatloaf was just a bit dry, but the mashed potato and butternut squash sides were well done. Cameron, our waiter, was also very good. It was a busy night and we had reservations at 7:30 on Saturday night, so the front of house was a little chaotic, but all in all, it was well worth the price and visit. Will be back.
This was our first time at The Ranch and we enjoyed it. The food was excellent and they have a great wine list. Our cocktails were excellent. My only complaint is that the tables are super close together and it was pretty noisy inside.
Felt ignored as I had requested a quite table. Finally settled for the table in the middle of the restaurant.
Felt rushed to order entree. The wait staff was in training and the trainer failed to follow up as the person who brought the food mixed up the order.
I left a good tip anyway.
Steak was prepared perfectly and the asparagus was wonderful. A very tasty meal.
It started out great but a large group was seated beside us and then I felt like we were forgotten about :( We had to keep stopping the waiter to ask for things... like to take our order... and our check. The food was good but we left feeling like the overall experience wasn't "all that". I will say that I have been there on other occasions when I have had better service and a better experience. Of course, this had to happen on a night that I brought out-of-town guests to dinner.
Great customer service. The hostess was very accommodating when we requested a table on the pavilion.
Had a great dinner catching up with some family. Our server was Nick and it seemed like he knew where every thing on the menu was from, from the Texas onions to the steaks. He also made some great recommendations we had meatloaf, redfish, and chicken fried steak all amazing. Finished with the carrot cake which he sold us on and it was the best I have ever had. Thanks Nick and whole crew keep up the great work.
The seating by the kitchen is terrible
Deafening noise by the staff calling orders and preparing food
We enjoyed our lunch very much. I wanted the Birthday girl to feel special by going somewhere other than a typical lunch spot. The atmosphere is great, the service was great and our food was delicious. The complementary birthday cake with a candle was a great final touch...we ordered more cake for the table. Thanks for the great time.
Our server was more concerned with his two 8 tops than he was with our 4 top. My entire family at one point in their lives have been servers and our server was in the weeds. He forgot drink orders. He brought the wrong food. He removed food from our table before we were done eating. In simple terms, he sucked.
Great menu. Really looked forward to the food experience and then depression set in. I ordered the wild boar chops. My chops must have come from a baby wild boar. I could cover the miniscule meat portion of my chops with a silver dollar. Maybe, and I say maybe as an exaggeration, there was 4 ounces of meat for 32 dollars. My meal cost me 8 dollars per ounce of meat. My wife had the Rosewood Wagyu sirloin. Who serves sirloin as a medallions? Nobody! She asked for medium rare. She received medium well. We brought this up to our server. He said it looked just fine to him and walked off never to be seen again for 20 minutes. We weren't asking his opinion.
Ambience was horrible. Noise level in this place is off the charts LOUD. I couldn't hear my wife unless I leaned in and she spoke directly in to my ear. Forget about hearing our other two guests across the table. They might as well have not been there.
All in all, a very disappointing experience. I had outstanding high hopes for this restaurant on April 3, 2018 at 6 PM.
The GM, Charles, and his staff really have brought an inviting ambience to Las Colinas with this beautifully renovated restaurant. Great for business lunches', as well as, a date night out with your special someone.
Very attentive staff and great food.
We went to the Ranch for Easter brunch and loved it! Food, service, place, entertainment, all top notch!
Great food and great service
Great place. The outside tables were perfect that day with the weather!
Birthday dinner with friends. We all had a great time!
Service was excellent as was the food...
Nice lunch. The special for Friday was okay but not great. Service was very friendly.
Had a great time
I want to thank the manager Elliott for honoring my request about having roses ready for my girlfriend at our lunch. Those are the kind of details that really make customers want to come back and be customers forever. I know now that for special occasions I can count on your restaurant and I won’t hesitate to come back and recommend you everywhere I go.
We visited Las Colinas this week and stopped into The Ranch for dinner. Wow! We are glad we did. The menu was great with many different options, the prices were reasonable, and the food was excellent. Steaks were cooked to temperature perfectly and seasoned just right, and the ribs were fall off the bone delicious. Drink prices were reasonable and the Old Fashion I enjoyed was well made and not too sweet. Service was good all around with the exception of a time or two when our server was swamped with a few big tables. All in all, a great choice when you're visiting Las Colinas. Enjoy!
The quality of the food and wine/brews was excellent and the service was even better
