Disappointed that the prime rib is sold out so fast. 7:30 reservations and already sold out.

This restaurant never disappoints! The service, environment and food are first class. Incredible farm to table concept. Top rate across the board! They are always busy...reservations are certainly recommended!

We were disappointed in the quality of the steaks. Also, the noise level was very loud. We had to ask for tea refills. It is a good place for a business lunch.

I dine at The Ranch regularly but not normally with a large group. As always the food was good. However, more focus needs to be paid to a large top tables for business diners. Painful service.

Water and napkins were brought by buse boy and Slammed as if he was in a big hurry out or reach . We sat looking at our salad waiting for some salt n pepper so long we borrowed from our neighbors table. Ehen he got sround to bringing them he had no apology not a word just put them down at the edge of the table n left. He brought the check without asking if we eould like dessert or drinks. The Pecan pie was deluverd but no forks, so another wait while ice cream melted.
No offerof crushed pepper for salad or Steak.
Sad to be made to feel as if we were an inconvenience.

We went to the Ranch sight unseen, without knowing anyone who recommended it. We were in town for a very nice marriage enrichment retreat and this dinner was tremendous! The only thing that we wished for & didn't receive was complimentary bread with or before the meal. Since we are "tea total-ers" we cant speak to the booze selections, but the whole place is very positive toward locally produced foods and beverages.

Booked a reservation through OT, we were seated on the indoor patio in the middle of the day so we had to move around to avoid the sun coming through the skylights. Service was terrible. Drink refills took up to 10 mins, when one guy's salad came out, they brought one other guy's entree, the timing obviously misentered by the server. The rest of our entrees came out about 20 mins later. As for the food, the chicken fried chicken was pretty good, not the best I've ever had but not a bad choice. Its not on the menu but you can still ask for it. However, I would caution against the Mac and Cheese. The cheese is too liquidy, not creamy and melty like you'd want it, and they put way too much cheese for the amount of pasta and breadcrumbs, the whole ratio is just off.
Overall, the service isn't always bad, I've had much better servers before. Sitting inside is usually not a problem so maybe next time will have to make sure to ask for it. The food is pretty consistent, the chicken fried chicken/steak is pretty good but ill be avoiding the Mac and Cheese if I find myself at the Ranch again.

Table for 1, seated in the bar area, Daniela was my server. Everything was perfect. The steak was a perfect medium rare, wedge salad was full of flavor, elk tacos were good with a nice presentation. The cadi-mac pasta was a little stuck together, but that did nothing to the taste. Perfect breadcrumbs on top with no burning and all texture.
Daniela kept my drink full, made a couple good suggestions, and was always polite and smiling. Unless the steakhouse I go to tonight is amazing, I’ll probably try to eat there again tomorrow before my flight.

Things were that good.

1- Uber they don't have enough parking or Valet -1 star
2-just show up get faster service than reservation -1 star
3- they prioritize certain crowd, hostess bypassed us to ask recent arrival about their sign in -1 star
4-Felt like 1960s not a welcoming environment. Food was good but doubt we will visit again......

We ordered a $100 steak. It was not cooked to order. It was raw. When the steak was delivered it was dropped with no consideration to the doneness of the steak. (I.e. No one say there and waited for us to cut it to make sure it was as we ordered it so that it could immediately be returned to the kitchen.) It was 5 to 10 mins before we saw our waiter.

It was rare on the outside and black and blue in the middle. We had ordered medium. The predictable reaponse from the manager was,"It's easier to take the red out than put it back in." We had also had to wait 10-15 minutes staring at our waiter as he took orders from two big tops while we wanted to have the black and blue portions heated up.

Went to a steakhouse in Austin last night. $50 steak. Cooked perfectly the first time. I'm not sure why this restaurant two years in a row has failed my expectations.

Only problem was that the waiter had such a thick Southern accent that we could only understand about every fourth word that he said.
The desserts are generous and fantastic. We split the chocolate cake and the pecan pie, and both were divine.

Consistently good place. It was date night and they sat us at the bar area which was great - close enough to the bar but mostly reserved tables like on the main floor. Service is good as is the food. They do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions. We had a small mishap which was properly rectified and the manager even stopped by. These guys always make it right, and that's why we keep going there. Very fun place.

Business meal during the week with out of town executives. They loved it! Especially since it was so crowded and they were seated very quickly since we made reservations. And the food was quite tasty with a wide variety to choose.
