Over priced food but totally cool spot.
Food is outstanding and consistent. Service excellent. Have eaten here many times. It is pricey and kind of loud but other than that, my all time fave restaurant. A go-to when I want to really treat guests special. Companions all loved it as well.
The service was amazing. Cat, our waitress, was so amazing. The food was great. The queso was one of my faves. I had the CFS and it was great! Also the drinks were on point. Would definitely come back.
This was the perfect restaurant to celebrate my wedding anniversary. They put lit lanterns on our table to help the ambiance for our celebration dinner. The waitress made sure that everything was perfect. This is the best place in town to celebrate a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back.
Food and service were outstanding!
Amazing food and service! Absolutely loved the chicken fried chicken as well as the Cowboys and angels red wine! Overall wonderful dining experience and would highly recommend to friends and family!
Our waitress was attractive, sweet, attentive, knowledgeable, prompt and made our date night dinner even better. Great staff, great food!
Awesome ambiance, good food, great service.
As always, great food and service. That's why The Ranch is our go-to for treating out of town guests.
Service lacked somewhat. High noise level. May go back but not at top of list.
Always a good experience with consistently good food and service and fun atmosphere. Tina our server was outstanding with great suggestions and very knowledgeable of the menu-valuable employee for sure!! Very enjoyable experience.
A very good experience the place the food, the seevice exelent
Food and service were excellent! Only detractor (and a VERY small one at that) was the the lighting was too low to see the menu clearly. Maybe the table could have been positioned differently?
Fantastic evening!! Food and drinks were amazing!! The server was very attentive and made sure that we always had everything we needed.
Everything was great except the wait for a table - having the reservation seemed to make zero difference from the normal walk in crowd??
The food was pretty good. Good wine and cocktail selection. Onion rings are a good app. I had the redfish - it was good but all the stuff they put on top of it overpowered it. Others in the party got the burger (he liked it), wedge salad and bacon flatbread (salad was good, flatbread was ok) and the fried catfish and Brussel sprouts (both good). Our server was very nice but she may have had too many tables because she was really slow. The food took a little long to get to us.
Great place to celebrate. Entrees are good for sharing. Food was fabulous. Alcoholic beverages were a little pricey. And although it was a very long drive to the restaurant, we would definitely visit again!
Large portions. Had the pork chop which was easily shared. A bit too well done and therefore it was dry. Overall good food and service.
Food was excellent as always. Did have a problem with our cocktail order and unfortunately it took longer than expected for server to return. Issue was address and the rest of our visit was great.
The mac and cheese side is the best in the county.
The Ranch is one of our "go to" restaurants and our last visit was a bit disappointing. The food is delicious, and our server was personable and attentive. However, the noise level made conversing with our table mates very difficult. Maybe we just got spoiled at the reduced volume over the past year, but it seemed even louder that on pre-pandemic visits.
Service was slow from the inset, friendly, no overly busy, but not detailed as it should have been.
Food - highlights, oysters, tortilla soup (has a little kick). Smoked fried chicken was good, smothered fried steak lived up to the hype. One of the filet mignons were cooked correctly, the other, a door mat, which was comped.
Drinks - margaritas were good, options as to how you want to dine, though we had a reservation, had to wait with tables open.
We were visiting from Massachusetts and celebrating our grandson's graduation from basic training and our granddaughters birthday. Our food was excellent and our waiter Sammy was awesome! Would definitely go back again if ever in town.
Always a pleasure at The Ranch! Their consistency is dead on with food and service. And for this reason, this will continue to be a Friday favorite of mine.
Cannot wait to return to Fallas and try the shrimp and grits
I treated a couple who loves chicken fried steak and they were thrilled and stuffed! My ribeye was perfect marble and flavor. Excellent relaxing evening!
Favorite place to eat in DFW
I have been here several times now and I like this restaurant a LOT. This time didn’t disappoint however I was left for a long time after I was first seated. I had the meatloaf again which was great and they allowed me to substitute my own two sides which is generous of them I think and allowed me to create the perfect meal for me right now (I’m kind of dieting; the charred broccolini side is very good.). I love their draft beer selection and I cheated on that diet to have a very nice one. Love the menu here and ambiance is terrific.
Great food, fantastic service. The restaurant was busy, but the staff seated us at the time of our reservation. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Everything was amazing from the food down to the service.
Great atmosphere, great service, & good food. I will defiantly visit again. We had family from NYC and she was so impressed with everything that she vowed to visit every time she is in Texas!
Brought my family here who were visiting out of town. Enjoyed our experience thoroughly and our waitress was very nice and service was great. I would definitely visit again.
Delicious high quality food. Albeit expensive, it is worth it for a special event. The service from Edie was phenomenal! I really like the ambience, it is romantic without being uptight.
Awesome food and decor, but extremely loud inside. If you’re hearing impaired, you’ll want to sit outside.
Always solid. The Redfish and Chicken Fried Steak are great.
Great servers, including a young man in his 2nd day of training. That was the standout of the night. Both guys personable and conversational.
Everything was great. I wish I could remember our waitresses name. She was delightful and attentive eventhough she had several large tables. I will definitely be back.
Excellent service and amazing food!!
Went for Mother’s Day and everything was just perfect. Can’t wait to go back! My son thought his garlic stuffed filet was the best steak he’s ever had. The queso was amazing and, I don’t really like queso. Blacked eyed pea hummus was also outstanding.
Our waiter was helpful and attentive.
