The good here is exceptional. Everything was beyond delicious
Real Texan restaurant and my guests enjoyed it. Will come again with my family.
Food was lack luster. Our server was excellent. The outdoor seating is wonderful but just be prepared to breathe in some cigar smoke as they also sell cigars here. Overall it was a pleasant experience but we will not be back due to high prices and the underwhelming food.
Incredible food and our server was fantastic! Really enjoyed our lunch.
Food is always exceptional and the service is as well
1/2 Price bottles of wine on Sunday night was a nice surprise
The food, drinks and service were amazing!!!
A bit short staffed but we were in rush. A very nice evening.
Off the hook. The food and service was phenomenal.
We absolutely love this restaurant! Food is amazing and the ambiance is lovely! Can't wait to go back!
Great place to eat, and spend an evening! It was a bit pricey, but overall a great restaurant.
We had so much fun with friends. The service, food and service was GREAT!!!
Hot chicken was not good. I’ve had it several times before, but this it was not enough chicken for the sandwich. Disappointed.
Fun western chic decor and great menu variety. Service was a little slow at brunch.
Need to have better management. Was disappointed in the overall experience.
Great food, Ribeye steak was amazing. Great atmosphere, highly recommended!!
Food was great. To-go order that was placed at the beginning of the meal was never entered by our server.
Excellent food and service was outstanding, from the host to the server.
The patio on a nice day is a great place for lunch!
Very good food at a reasonable price. Nice ambiance. Wish it was a little warmer. Great spot outside with a fireplace and big screen TV to watch football.
Service was a little slow. Other than that experience was great.
My chicken was not cooked thoroughly. My waiter was so busy and didn’t really pay attention to our table which is why I didn’t complain. I’ll give it another try, but will try something else.
There for a lazy mid-week lunch. Good food, with entrees that hit a nice balance of feeling familiar but not routine. A comfortable relaxed atmosphere with a good service level where the waitress was always available but not hovering around.
They never disappoint! Everything, including drinks and the cornbread, was so good!
Food and service were perfect. We had a party of 10. Server was wonderful and the manager stopped by to thank us for the business.
Birthday celebration. Great place to celebrate with awesome food!
The waiter raves about the redfish so I decided to get it and it was terrible. Very dry and didn’t eat nay of it , even let the waiter know but I wasn’t even hungry at that point. It should have been comped. Very disappointed.
It was our first visit, our date night out and it was excellent. Michelle was an attentive waitress and we followed her recommendations and are glad we did! We loved the house salad, smoked fried chicken with coleslaw, chicken fried steak and pecan pie! Their herbed goat cheese and spiced pecans were a delicious treat on the salad, entree portions are very generous and the pie was worth the calories! We hope to come back with friends!
Hi Kimberly! Thank you so much for your five star review! We're thrilled to hear that Michelle embodied the best of our Texas hospitality. From all of us here, we're looking forward to serving you soon. - The Ranch Team
We had been to The Ranch on several occasions before the pandemic. Ranked it as one of our favorite places.
Had friends in town we wanted to impress with a sourced local food. Unfortunately on this night The Ranch did not live up to our past experience.
We decided on a red blend bottle of a California wine. It was OK, but way over priced for just a good $20 bottle. It was $60 on this night.
We started off with the Chef Choice of 4 appetizers. Onion rings, elk tacos, chips and queso, fried green tomatoes. These were decent and plentiful.
The 4 of us ordered the ribs, red snapper, 6 oz beef filet, smoked brisket. So we got a wide variety. No one was raving. The overall consensus was food was average at best for the price.
I got the fillet asked for a little pink which interpreted by the waitress as "medium" I said sure. It was well done, complete cooked through and through with no pink, dry and not much flavor. Waitress never asked how our food was. Granted it was a busy night.
Maybe my expectations are too high but when we spend on average of $60/person I expect a little better.
I get it ... everything is more expensive today, but I still think details need to be adhered to in this competitive market with so many places to choose from. We might go back sometime, but not to try an impress anyone, but more to see if we just caught them on a bad night.
The Food at the Ranch in Las Colinas is excellent. Fine dining for a reasonable price!!!
It was ok. Server was a bit pushy on trying to get orders, etc. had reservations but delayed seating. But honestly drink prices are very high compared to other places. No plans to return
I went in with good expectations from the good reviews! I was not disappointed, the food was great and the food was priced accordingly. I'll definitely be going back.
Despite SEVERAL available tables, which remained available throughout dinner, while even more tables become available while we were dining, the host staff seated my son and me directly adjacent to the sever station. So, we had to deal with not the just the staff traffic, which rightfully returns to this area frequently, but the insane amount of ongoing noise from the opening and closing of the cabinet doors and drawers and consistent clanking silverware. Inexplicably and unnecessary. This table should have only be assigned if the restaurant is nearing 100% capacity and someone walks in without a reservation… which my son and I had. Shame on you and never again. Management should re-evaluate their seating protocols.
Food and experience was awesome but it is pricy for the experience.
great service, food is excellent, sat on their patio area with windows open since day was sunny and nice, if cold, it was right by a fireplace so would have been comfortable either way.
The food was so good. Atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back.
First time there and everything was outstanding. Everyone enjoyed it and will return again soon.
Some of the food was too salty. The cocktail price was too expensive for a lunch drink. $12.00 (cocktail) $14.00 (glass of red wine).
Food is always outstanding with solid service. The redfish is outstanding.
Normally this place is amazing, however this visit was a miss. Myself and another gentleman in the bar ordered at roughly the same time. He got my dinner and didn't realize it until he had started eating; then it dawned on him his sides were incorrect, and by george, so was his entree! So I waited roughly 40 minutes for dinner and when I did get my food, my ribeye was rarer than I would have liked.
Server was very apologetic, but no manager visit, no discount, just a ton of "I'm sorrys".
