It took a while to get our food. The waitress was great, the food not so good.

Back in the day, it was a nice place. Desperately in need of an update. Also, the menu offered shrimp linguini but the dish arrived with spaghetti. Minor point perhaps, but it's easy to mention the change or just change the menu. Ordered a double Macallan's and received a double Dewar's 12 YO. If you don't have Macallan, just say so. The salmon was nice.

Bottom line: I see why it was the only place available for a reservation.

Waited 15 minutes before even being greeted by the hostess, who then had us wait 10 min for a specific table even though there were 5 open tables we could see. We had a reservation. For was alright, but the service was slow & disorganized.

Food was basically cafeteria food pretending to be white table cloth. Ordered a grilled cheese (fool proof, this was fine), french fries (some were frozen so obviously out of a package), and a “french dip” (old grocery store bun with charred meat). While we sat at the restaurant for over an hour, we never even received a glass of wine. Saw the waiter twice in the hour. Bad food, bad service. Good place if you’re there for the bar, but I would never recommend eating there.

Kudos to our waiter though who knew the service was terrible and comped one of the entrees without us having to say anything.

Unfortunately did not have a good overall experience. The lady who helped us with our wine was wonderful. She checked on us more than our server. He was pleasant when around, but was difficult to locate when needed.
My husband order the prime rib (medium) and I had the ribs. The prime rib came out first. We assumed my dinner would follow shortly. After waiting about 5 minutes we asked and it finally showed. After my dinner arrived my husband started on his dinner...well done and impossible to eat. We pointed this out and they started a new one after agreeing that it was over cooked for medium. I found the ribs tough and believe they weren’t cooked long enough. It was a fight to cut through the first few ribs. They returned with another prime rib - also well done, but edible. We called it a day and just called it a bad night. I heard the main chef was out and perhaps that was the cause of the issues. They did comp the prime rib and we appreciate their effort to make it right.

Mediocre food. Staff tried to be friendly but was clearly unorganized and understaffed. Was it a surprise that there’d be large demand during the biggest holiday week of the year?
