The Rabbit Hole
First time ever going. Showed up early on a Friday. Seated quickly. Service was on point. Food was delicious and priced appropriately. Drinks were glorious. Definitely recommend.
Menu designed by hipsters cooked by T.G.I. Friday's cooks -
Rabbit bites - the idea is great ! What came out was dried out over cooked rabbit nuggets - we at 1 each and were never asked if we liked em -
A+ idea F execution
Fried Wild Colorado mushrooms
I'd button mushrooms from the grocery are wild then I'll eat my hat
A+ idea F execution ( this was flat out food fraud )
Meat and cheese platter
1/2" thick hunks of a couple of types of meat - what were they ? We have no idea - the cheeses all right off the grocery store cheese counter - a sold 2 tablespoons of jarred mustard and a ton of really bad tasting apple butter - with some won tons - what in the f was this ? Executed by someone's who's never actually seen a meat and cheese platter
Over all super cool vibe and space - stop by for a cocktail but save the $ for a restaurant that puts someone in the kitchen that knows how to cook -
Really enjoyed my Mother’s Day dinner at The Rabbit Hole. Great vibe - excellent friendly, professional service. I thought my shrimp entree was very tasty but just a tad over cooked.. not enough to complain, just a bit. Cocktails were fabulous. Red Velvet cake for dessert is a little too heavy on the cream cheese frosting vs cake, the cake should be the star. A table near us had some sort of less than positive experience, I really didn’t hear what, but I did hear how the restaurant handled it and I was very impressed. All in all, we really enjoyed the restaurant and I look forward to returning for another visit.
We were a party of four. With the exception of a seafood pasta dish, which was very good, cooked appetizers and entrees were over cooked and bland. Deserts were quite good and the service was excellent.
This is literally a hidden gem. Great wait staff, our server was awesome, great food, great drinks at reasonable prices.
We showed up early to our reservation and they seated us at a small bar table to wait. The service was phenomenal! When our table was ready they moved us over and the same waitress saw to us the whole time. Everyone was amazing and the food was easily the best I’ve ever tasted. I had the blacked scallops and my husband had the rabbit meatloaf. The cocktails were also one of the best I’ve ever had! Would recommend and definitely will be returning!!!!
I love coming here! Me and a friend come and enjoy great food and even better conversation! Not to mention the drinks are always on point!
This restaurant is now at the top of my list for places to eat in Colorado Springs. We split the Butcher’s Block. The buffalo ribs and duck wings were the best.
We came to Colorado Springs to celebrate a wedding anniversary. For the past 20 years we have always celebrated in Europe so we were looking for something unique and fun. The Rabbit Hole certainly filled the bill! It was funky, different, a little noisy but very enjoyable. The food was excellent and the staff was attentive, friendly, efficient and smiling all the time. I ordered the chicken and waffle biscuit and my wife ordered the cauliflower mac and cheese. Both exellent!

Always a fantastic experience at the Rabbit Hole, try the Duchess!
Monday was our first time visiting the Rabbit Hole. My wife and I loved the food. It was a little loud even though there were only 7 other couples at the time but otherwise it was a great time.
Fantastic atmosphere! The service was impeccable, and the good was amazing! Highly recommend.
This was our second time here and we'll definitely be going back. The food and drinks are great and I love the Alice in Wonderland theme.
Tried the Brussel sprouts appetizer. Heavenly
Really loud. Food was average. Waitress was delightful. The environment was super unique
We always have a great experience here. Brought som friends in that are from out of town, they loved the food. I was surprised by the butcher block for two. My husband and I loved it all, we could barely finish it. The price was excellent for the amount of food received. Thank you!
I’m Gluten/Dairy free and they had a great variety to choose from. The menu was marked to indicate GF, Veg and Vegan. They even had crispy mushrooms that were GF and were delish!! Leah provided great service with a lovely personality!
Totally worth the find....
The entrance is one of the coolest I’ve seen (or missed) for a restaurant and definitely in line with the theme. Food options were awesome and everything we had was fairly delicious. The waitress was as unfriendly I’ve come across in a while, but the rest made up for it. Great food, mellow setting, and really clever overall theme. I was just glad I wasn’t the only one who had trouble finding “The Rabbit Hole” and even happier that I finally did.
Crazy good! Can’t wait to go again and try more...
We had a fantastic meal, and our server was outstanding! The location is perfect and the ambience can’t be beat in Colorado Springs. You must go, and you must try the cocktail with the Fleming Marshmello on it! You won’t know unless you go…
Restaurant is small and dark. Ordered the bunny bites and meat was tough and not very flavorful. Salad had wilted greens.
Very quiet and low key restaurant. Food was amazing and for a very low price. Would definitely recommend and will revisit.
I'd only suggest updating your online menu and photo's. Was really looking forward to the German Chocolate cake but found it hadn't been on the menu since Feb. Other than that everything was amazing!
Great food and ambiance! Fairly priced and large portion sizes! I could have shared my pork belly tacos, glad I didnt though because they were delicious! Our waitress was outstanding and made us feel welcomed. Truly one of a kind place and I will visit again when I am in Colorado!
Overall fantastic place for fun atmosphere, GOOD food and can't believe the price for that food.
It was a unique place to go to and would definitely go again. The only "bad" thing was an obnoxious person sitting at a table right next to ours. He was loud and vulgar. I almost spoke to the manager, but then since we were about finished anyway, we left. Other than that, it was a nice experience. The food, ambiance and wait staff were all great.
An amazing dining experience. Eat me, eat me! ; )
The food was under seasoned and not worth the hype. Our waitress wasn't great. The end of our meal was disturbed by someone bringing in a young child complaining loudly that there wasn't any food he liked. The entire experience was a let down, which was unfortunate. We won't be back.
We enjoyed absolutely everything, it was all delicious!
Great food was amazing the decoration is great amazing overall
The Rabbir Hole was fabulous, from the food, to the atmosphere, to the surroundings. Thank you!
The service was extremely quick and efficient. Food and drinks were served quickly and well presented and also removed quickly. The food was interesting (we had the bacon wrapped shrimp and the blackened scallops). The bacon was a bit burned and left the shrimp tasting burnt. The scallops were on the small size...as small as I have ever seen! We also ordered the carrot cake and it was dense and delicious. Next time, we will order something with the rabbit. We will certainly give it another try. I did appreciate that I requested a quiet table when I made the reservation and we got a wonderful corner back table. I do not think I would have enjoyed our meal as much in the middle of the room. It was much nosier and busier.
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. We love the place, it was the first time either one of us had been there. At first they brought out the wrong dish to me. And my girlfriend wasn't going to eat until I got my food so hers sat on the table. Neither one of us have silverware, and I had to ask for it. I understand everyone is human and mistakes happen but in that sort of business we should have been compensated for something.
Let me start by saying that I have wanted to try the rabbit hole for a while. Being underground and the stone walls are the best part but goes down from there. The meals were mid finer dining prices but did not deliver. It was busy/noisy so maybe the drinks are good. If you are going for the food or on a date where you would like to cary on a conversation I would go somewhere else. The waitress was nice though hard to hear and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I could break down all that was off with with my wife’s and my dinner but I will just say there are lots of better choices in Colorado Springs for food above and below price wise. We will not be going back.
We are semi decent regulars to the Rabbit Hole. The last 2 times we had reservations (to include this evening), we had to wait 15-20 min past our reservation time. Tonight took the cake. 15 minutes into our waiting, i called 2 additional restaurant to see about availability, unfortunately they were booked. When we finally got sat, 18 minutes later, there were 3 additional tables empty in the same section we were seated in. Now mind you, not one person left those tables while we were waiting to be sat, as we were standing in the area that goes upstairs to that section and would have seen anyone who left. So I mentioned my frustration to the waitress and asked her to pass it in to her manager, you’d think that the manager would come over, maybe apologize. Nothing. So at the end of the dinner, which was mediocre at best, I said to the waitress, I guess you didn’t mention my complaint to the manager, or the manager just doesn’t care. She said that she did indeed pass my message on. You’d think, once again, maybe she’d mention it to her manager again, and maybe she did, and yet again the manager could careless, but the manager never came.
People make reservations for specific times because many who make reservations, have plans at a specific time after dinner.
Because of the lack of professionalism of the manager and the mediocre food, we don’t plan on revisiting anytime soon.
My final words, if you have plans, then don’t bother making reservations here. You won’t be sat on time.
Some of the best food I have ever had with great service. A little noisy, but worth it
Sarah was a fantastic companion to a great biz evening. Not only was she able to accomodate our more than slow ordering due to rambling conversation, she also gave hints on good menu options that did not deceive. Great place and a must next time in Colorado Springs.
The Rabbit hole combines a cozy Rathskeller ambience with a very challenging menu. The pork chop was juicy with excellent flavors. Cocktails choices are modest but not skimpy. Happy hour can be noisy but fun!
Such a cool place! Order a Cosmo - prettiest drink I’ve ever had. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, our server was wonderful. Go!
