Outstanding! Everything was superb - food, wine and service!
Food and service were very good, but the tables are way too close together and the noise level is so high I had a hard time hearing my date.
Our waiter Nigel was excellent. He knew we were tight on time to make movies next door .
We had mussels and calamari for appetizers w our drinks
Excellent food and service
Great place to meet friends for dinner. Lively but you can still hear yourselves talk. Food is very good and they have a nice cross section of different dishes to satisfy everyones' tastes.
Very enjoyable, excellent service, tasty food.
A lovely restaurant, a little noisy but the ambience and menu more than made up for any negatives
Nigel was our server. He did an excellent job and made sure we completed our early dinner in time to make our movie. The food was tasty, as always, and the wine list had something to complement both of our selections.
A restaurant with such great potential but misses on execution....
Fantastic meal. Mussels were great. Pork chop perfect
Excellent food and service. A little loud but not overwhelming.
The restaurant was very chilly and it was a cold day outside to begin with. My salmon was slightly overcooked. Friendly service.
Everything was great - service, food and ambience.
The food was delicious! Our server Ashley was wonderful as made sure that we were well taken care of through our meal. We enjoyed ourselves very much, and look forward to a future visit!
A great place to celebrate a special occasion or just a have a nice dinner out.
Excellent service at the bar and for dinner. The food was delicious and we were exceptionally happy with the service that we received.
Our Valentines Day dinner was great
Seated promptly at an excellent table
Our waitress Samantha was fabulous, there when we needed her but not hovering
Five course meal was exceptional with perfect portion size
Even the chef stopped to visit
The food was very good. I especially loved, loved! my yellowfin tuna. My only complaint was that I was unaware the meal was a Prix fixe as I made the reservation on open table. That would definitely have changed my mind about trying this place for the first time on Valentines Day.
My husband is a bit picky and did want any of the 3 limited selections but settled for the steak. I had hoped to introduce us to the full menu as this was our first time here.
The portion size for his steak was quite small compared to my fish - I felt like I had a slab of yellowfin that covered most of the plate center, while he had a small muffin top size of steak that was dwarfed by the 2 stalks of broccolini.
Restaurants who are on open table should be required to indicate on special occasions that their menu is prix fixe/limited for an evening. Again food was VERY good, so I would still recommend it. It’s just that paying $100 per person for food that was left uneaten was disappointing.
Went before a movie next door. Service was very good and the meal was also. I had the mushroom ravioli and it was delicious. One of our friends had the mushroom risotto and she lived it. Great place to dine before a movie
Always great !
Our food was delicious but service was not the best. Had to ask for someone to come and take our drink order. After bringing drinks, waiter did not return for 30 minutes to take our order. Luckily we had planned a leisurely meal.
We had hoped for a quiet romantic evening, but the bar noise was annoying. Waiter and meal were fabulous, but it's hard to talk with the level of noise. We also noticed the hostess trying to seat 4 different groups of people that didn't like the table they were taken to---the hostess was wonderful, but it was disruptive to have all the moving around to 1-2 different tables Certainly not the fault of the restaurant...just some people were terribly high maintenance
great service great food! If we didn't have to share our table with plants in would have been perfect.
Our first time visiting the Quarter Bistro and it was delicious. We especially enjoyed the dinner special and dessert. I would like to see more local beer options on tap if possible.
We decided to go to Quarter bistro for my husband‘s birthday. We arrived and service initially was attentive. The server brought drinks, acknowledged our gluten intolerance, and was accommodating. My husband ordered the steak. He ordered it simply medium rare. While the food seem to take quite a while to prepare, even though it was not busy, since we hadn’t been there before we allowed the time without saying anything. The server finally came and said our food was coming out. When my husband steak arrived it was obviously burnt not just charred. It should never have arrived in that state but as my husband cut into it it was obviously well done and very tough to cut. So we ask the server if he could take it back and he was apologetic. After another 20 minute wait, while the rest of us were completely finished, his replacement steak was brought back to the table. While the time it took to re-cook was rather unacceptable, it was made worse when he cut into a raw steak. The server would not make eye contact, come back, and ask us if the steak was OK, so we had to flag down a buser to have the manager stop by. He had them take the steak off the bill, was apologetic, but never offered another meal. I guess it was obvious the table was finished and waiting yet another 20 minutes would have been unacceptable. The manager did give us a gift card to cover one meal for a future date. The rest of the food was simply mediocre. My son had barbecue korean tacos and I had mahi-mahi tacos. The fish was over cooked and dry. We had side dishes of mashed potatoes, called rubuchons, so that they could charge six dollars for a side of mashed potatoes. There was nothing at all special or flavorful about them. The best thing on the table were the Brussels sprouts. But that’s because I like simply cooked brussels sprouts and these fit the bill. Let’s just say we probably won’t use the gift card since the food was mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and just don’t go.
Consistently very good with creative specials. Outdoor dining when available is great.
Love love this restaurant -just need to find which tabke e would be less noisy-will ask next time!!!!!! A few ofour friends that accompany us have hearing problems like tinitinits-so noisy doesn't work for them-----also wish the lights could be a little dimmer !!! Always trying to hide our wrinkles !!! Otherwise-love this restaurant and the service and food are impeccable!!!!!
Food was very good, and interesting. Noise level was painful, especially for an ancient with hearing aids.
Great food and service
a great place for a family get together. pretty loud with great service. food was a 4 rather than a 5 due to a undercooked Filet. everything else was good.
We dined after a movie next door. Very convenient:)
We were a party of four. When we arrived there were plenty of empty tables, by the time we left, not so much. We did not feel rushed (and would have left sooner if all tables were filled/people waiting). The service was attentive, not intrusive.
I had the shrimp pappardelle. I was a bit hesitant because I have had marsala sauce with seafood in the past at another restaurant that was quite sweet. I was assured this was not. Oh, so good! Our dining partners were thrilled to hear foie was the special appetizer for the night. 3 bar drinks for my companions and the red bordeaux for me; we were all quite happy.
The Quarter Bistro is an appealing evening dining spot. We went for an early New Year's Eve dinner. The portions were just right, and the food was delicious, though pricey. We got a phone message to confirm our reservation that afternoon. In the message it was mentioned that the menu for the evening was prix fixe. The cost was $80 per person, which I found out upon arrival. When I made the reservations I was thinking $45-50 each. So, a little expensive. The atmosphere was enjoyable, very busy, even in the early evening. The staff was attentive.
This was our third New Years at the Quarter bistro. Our service was good and the food and wine parings excellent.
Great place to spend New Year's Eve
Very nice meal but we didn’t know it was fixed price until we sat down. Unfortunately I didn’t listen to your confirmation message. Wish I had known at time of reservation.....
We always enjoy our meals there:-)
The food and atmosphere were as fabulous as always. Outstanding service.
I always love eating at Quarter Bistro--is cozy. There's variety in food selection, price, quantity of good.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meals.. Crab appetizer, Shrimp Marsala, Veal scallopini and the Quarter Salad with goat cheese. Great meal topped off a visit to the Mariemont Theater next door. Service was wonderful.
The food and service has always been wonderful and I was happy to see that there were more vegetarian/vegan foods on the menu , Thank you !
Very knowledgeable, pleasant, and attentive service staff. Seasonal menus items well prepared. Some individual items are a smidge on the overpriced side but overall it's a reasonable value.
