The Quarter Bistro
The award-winning combination of seasonal cuisine and sophisticated ambiance are just the beginning of an unforgettable experience.
As Cincinnati's premier "contemporary" bistro, the menu presents all things classic and creative in balance. Fresh fish and game daily? Of course. Outstanding wines at a great value? No Question. Whether it's a beautiful summer evening on the patio, a romantic wine and dine for two, or a down-to-business dinner for ten, The Quarter Bistro has it covered.
Always a great place to eat! Service was incredible. Server took great care of my wife’s meal who has dietary restrictions.
Always delightful and best food and service in Mariemont
Our server, Kelsey, who we've had before at this neighborhood gem of a restaurant, did an excellent job. She's very personable and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. We have no complaints at all about our food or wine--both excellent. We were pleased to see business so good at this fine restaurant.
Very friendly, clean, excellent food, brilliant combinations of flavors!! Will be back for sure!
My wife and I had a fabulous post-Valentine Day dinner at the Quarter Bistro. I find the decor stunning. Drinks were good, and the food was great. I had the short ribs, and my wife had a salmon special. We had the mushroom flatbread to start and it was very good.... really think crust and not too much sauce and cheese, so the taste of the mushrooms came through. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. It was a really fun experience.
I had hoped for a special evening, but ended up disappointed. I had made reservations for our 5th anniversary dinner. Having dined there before, I knew seating could be tight, so I asked for a special table for our celebration in the comments. No such luck. We were seated at what is really a 4 top, separated down the middle with a planter and up close and personal with the couple seated 3 feet next to us. Our server was good and attentive. Yet the food was another disappointment. My wife ordered French Onion soup which she was unable to finish due to the extreme saltiness. My rack of lamb, while cooked perfectly was also salted to the point of overpowering the dish. My risotto was cool and sticky. Small details were lacking, no salt (not that we needed any) pepper shakers on the table, the lack of offering fresh ground pepper for my Caesar Salad (although I observed most other diners were offered), tight quarters with the wait staff bumping into my chair every so often. I cannot recommend.
Every bite of every course was delicious! Our sever Kelsey was top notch!
We choose to go to the Quarter for Valentines day because we know they do a great job. On this occasion the chef really created a thoughtful, sophisticated, delicious menu. Highlights for me were the crab cake, grilled Cesar salad, and of course the filet mignon. Thanks for a lovely night!
Fabulous Valentine's Day dinner!! We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Valentine's Day at the Bistro. The dinner was outstanding, and the ambiance was off the charts!
Excellent food and service in a better than pleasant atmosphere.
So glad to continue to come back here and get the same wonderful experience.
Tables are very close which makes background noise excessive
A group of old friends met at the bar. The drinks were delicious and the food was delicious and perfect for sharing. An enjoyable night out in an intimate setting.
We had the best table and waiter!!
Food and service were excellent as always. The noise level
Was extremely loud. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. That is my negative. The total experience was quite good.
Birthday great ambiance terrific service and food
My son texted me suggesting that we should go to the Quarter on Saturday night to have a relaxing, nice meal. We were both frazzled and looked forward to the Quarter cheeseburger. Marty, Jen, Tom and I had exactly what we sought, and enjoyed our server's recommendation for a new pinot as well as the other sides. We love the Quarter.
Andy was a great server and we were taken right away. Our request for a table on the sides was honored. We asked for this knowing that it does get noisy, especially in the middle of the room. Had plenty of time to enjoy our meal and make our movie. Very nice.
Katie was very attentive and knew the menu well
We are a family of diverse food preferences and we each found something delightful to enjoy.
Very welcoming staff upon arrival! Promptly seated and for the remainder of the evening enjoyed everything. The server, Andi, was very knowledgable throughout our questions on the menu and we were even checked on by the General Manager and Chef. Thank you for a great experience with our out of town guests.
Service and food were really great.
Seated on time 7:45 at the very best table for two - comfortable cushioned corner near the bar! Excellent service and attention to details by our server. Autumn salad and salmon entree were both plated beautifully. Big plus, the food was very hot and delicious flavors. Too full for desert, we lingered over coffee which was also very good.
Great service from Sarah and great food from kitchen including special steak/prawn and mushroom soup and crab cake for our lite eater!
Always excellent. Between the service (Thank you Samantha) the wine, and of course the food it never fails to meet our expectations.
Mt lamb was cooked perfectly as was my wife’s steak. Kale salad was very tasty.
My favorite part of the meal was the Beef Wellington which was an appetizer. Wish it was always on the menu.
Delicious food and excellent service!
The restaurant decor and atmosphere were delightful, unique and exceeded my expectations. The food was flawless and full of flavor. An overall great dining experience.
Food was delicious. Waitress was attentive. Irish coffee was just right. We will definitely be back!
Excellent food, service, presentations, wine selection, and ambiance. Quarter Bistro seems like a restaurant that should be formal, but instead it's casual, relaxing, comfortable, and fun. The pan seared salmon is exceptional. The lamb is considered the best in the city. The service is friendly, thorough, professional, and never stuffy. We visit Quarter Bistro several times a year and have for years. We have never been disappointed, which is why we return so often.
Interesting food choices. Quiet when we arrived but quite noisy as meal continued. Server was polite and efficient, especially with the number of tables he was assigned
We had outstanding service and a delicious dinner. Katie was definitely one of the best wait staff we've ever had....anywhere!
Our first time at Quarter Bistro did not disappoint. It was completely full, so we knew that was a good sign for a successful restaurant. I really enjoyed the special of the night. It was a halibut dish with risotto and vegetables. My husband had the pappardelle pasta with pork cheek, and he really enjoyed it. Our service was wonderful, and the ambience was lovely. We will definitely be back!
Shrimp tacos were outstanding. Craving them 24/7 since dining there last week. Definitely a city wide favorite.
The Quarter Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants. The food and service are always great!
Our favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. Staff is always so friendly and extremely efficient. Great food.
The food is always good. Service was slightly slow. It does get crowded before and after movies next door. Great place to go with friends. Prices are reasonable. Salmon tacos are delicious. Crab cake is very good.
Nice evening with movie to follow. The dinner was delecious and I recommend the beet salad.
The food here is good. The prices are very high. The service is just ok. There were 4 of us, 2 were teenagers, so only 2 of us had an alcoholic drink. The wait staff bumped into my chair 3 times, so the tables are crowded in. We were brought the wrong salads. The waitress forgot to bring more bread when asked. For a suburban restaurant, the price does not merit the value. We will pass on this place next time.
Good, but not quite up to the usual excellence. Inexperienced, but very personable server, made many minor mistakes. Maple chicken too sweet, otherwise food and wine good. Dine at the Qtr around 8-10 times a year, so we’ll be back, we love it. It was just slightly off this time.
