   The service was poor. Our server seemed very overwhelmed. Apps came out on a timely basis but had to wait a while for our entree. I ordered my burger med rare and it came out well (no pink) . Server never came back to check until the other members of my party were almost done. For almost $30 I would expect it to be cooked correctly. Finally ran my credit card and didn’t give me a copy. My husband and I have come here since Covid and this was our worst experience. I was pretty bummed.

   Went there for my wife’s birthday! Atmosphere was perfect, salad bar and food is always good!

   Lovely location for special occasion. Wine is a little pricey but service and food was top notch.

   Always a great meal and atmosphere. Friendly staff from the hosts to those preparing the food and the wait staff. We are regulars and attend most of their celebrations brunches. The Clarks from NY

   Fresh salad bar, great food and wonderful service. It is set in a beautiful part of Bennington with great views.

   We had the prime rib and ordered med rare. It was overcooked and cold. The vegetables looked like a clump of garbage. A half glass of wine - $12.00? Your prices are too high for the quality of the food. Calamari appetizers was cold too and the coating was heavy and oily. Your salad bar was the best. I am a local, been coming to the restaurant for over forty years and it use to be a nice place to go, love eating on the deck, but now, I doubt I’ll be back

   As a local Vermonter the publyk house never dissappoints! atmosphere, ease of reservations and excellent menu selections. My always "go to" is the twin filet medallions & endless salad bar. I brought a coworker who is new to the area to dinner knowing this was the best restaurant to visit.

   Good food with an actual salad bar. A throwback to years ago & we all lived it. A nice meal for each of the 5 of us - we all got something different. From steak to eggplant parm, turkey dinner, wild mushroom ravioli & salmon. All were good. Our server was fun, pleasant & engaging.
