An homage to oysters, pork and beer, The Publican's eclectic menu is inspired by simple farmhouse fare in a space evocative of a European beer hall. Chef-Partner Paul Kahan has developed a network of purveyors to supply the restaurant with hand-selected and sustainably-raised fish, seafood and pork.

Patio seating is first come, first served. Walk-ins are always welcome!

    Food was delicious and service was great! Our biggest complaint is the chairs are too high relative to the tall boy tables, a human leg could not fit in the gap available so we both had to sit sideways.

    Just a return to form for the spring menu at publican, my guest had never been and stick to the classics and the food did not disappoint as we exitedd he mentioned he was bringing his wife back next weekend. Brunch is one of my fave meals and the publican team delivers one of the best in town. Always get the waffle / pork belly / butchers board and finish with a pastry as that program is another level now.

    Simply amazing. The food was beyond what I hoped for. Ordered the chefs choice and it paid off. The service was great with good choices in wine from the server who I let choose for me.

    Not worth the $55 for the English supper menu. Took over 30 mins to get a bottle of wine delivered to table. It was empty, we were one of the first reservations at 515. The rarebit was 2 huge pieces of thick rye bread per person and quite cold, could have easily been just 1 per person. The bangers and mash tasted like instant potatoes, very watery, and just small pieces of salty sausage. The fish and chips was fine, but it was served with a pound of French fries and no peas/mushy peas, which is a standard. The toffee dessert was fine, but no sauce at all. My entree came out 10 mins before my friends, and to be polite I waited, so it was also cold. There were only 2 options to choose from on the menu, so it’s not like they didn’t have the food prepped and ready to go in the kitchen. The cherry on top was the 3% covid/service fee (service… what service), also asking 20% starting tip on the electronic check. This used to be a favorite restaurant, but it will be hard to keep it in rotation after this over $100 per person.

    My ol' reliable, always wonderful. We came here for a quick nightcap after a disappointing dinner elsewhere and it ended up being the highlight of the day. Thank you Blake for taking such good care of us. Try the oysters!
