Server was all over the restaurant vs in an area so Service was very slow. Food good as always. Prices are on the high side for what you get but it’s Wegmans. Worst part was they double charged me for one of the entrees and I didn’t realize it until I had paid, tipped on it and left. That ticked me off!
Didn’t want to cook and decided since this was close we would go. Small menu but everything is great!
We had a family Christmastime gathering at the Pub in King of Prussia. Everyone enjoyed it. They had a good selection of American-style food. On the down side, an order of macaroni and cheese was not very warm. Service was excellent!
The Pub was a great find. The welcome and service were excellent. The menu varied and inviting. The food was well prepared and presented. The cost was appropriate.
Got to sit in the corner booth, we love when that's available! Happy Hour specials were great!
Jocelyn, Tina, Patty & Lisa at the King of Prussia, PA store are always helpful, personable and customer-friendly. Service is second to none. I consider them great assets to the company.
Food is outstanding with bonus of buck-a-shuck on Mondays and Lobster Thursdays, though recent price increases are disconcerting. But still worth a visit for the lesser priced menu items.
Attended Sam Adams Utopias tasting dinner. Extremely reasonable price to try this ultra exclusive beer. What was more impressive was the expertly crafted food pairings with 4 different beers. The chef staff at Wegmans are expertly trained and it shows, the tasting menu would have looked just as at home as in a trendy restaurant in Philadelphia at 3-4x the price. Portion sizes were generous for 4 courses, and our entire party left feeling full and very satisfied. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Definitely would recommend, especially for specially events like this!
We have eaten at wegmans pub often and just stopped in for a quick bite. Ordered the calamari appetizer to share, we each had a salad and each had a nice Bells draft beer. Overall, the salads were good but the calamari was tasteless and not worth getting at all. We wound up eating it since we were hungry but just kept looking at each other after each bite, wondering why we ate it and didn’t return it.
Good food and service. We asked for menu change due to diet and they accommodated without question.
Quick, friendly, yummy food
The food was excellent. Our table was really nice, private booth. Our server was abrasive and we felt rushed even though it wasn’t busy at all.
When we split the bill I asked to have $15 put on one card and the rest on mine. She returned with the $15 check and the entire initial bill was still on my card. I called her back to explain what happened and she got defensive and said she ran my card with the difference. I pointed out the receipt that still had the initial total. She hesitated and seemed annoyed, uttered something about her training, and disappeared with my card for nearly 10 minutes only to return to announce to the table that my card was declined for the adjusted amount. I gave her another card and we left. I immediately received a phone call from the fraud department of my bank questioning the 2 declined charge attempts. I called my bank directly and they told me the server entered an incorrect expiration date, which declined the card, and she attempted the run it 3 more times which triggered a fraud alert and hold on my card.
If she said she was training, hopefully she was the one being trained and not training a new server!!
As usual, the food at the Wegmans Pub is always good, but I wouldn't classify it as Very Good or Excellent. The few drafts beers available are usually very good as we had a 2X IPA from Troeg's and a Bell's Two Hearted. Our server, Belle, was great - very helpful and friendly. We didn't order much to each, just a few entrees. My wife had the August salad special which was good, but it was called a roasted corn salad and it came with very little of the corn. I'd recommend the Pub for a good selection of food, low cost, and a quick meal (and groceries afterward too).
Jocelyn, Lisa and Patty are a great team. Couldn't ask for nicer people to serve you!
Food was okay. I had the lobster roll and it had no flavor at all. The bun it was served in was burned. The Caesar salad had no flavor and was very wet. One of my dining companions had a burger and fries, they were so-so. Service seemed very scattered. Had multiple people come to try to take our order. They did not seem very busy, lots of empty tables. Not a good value for the price.
The lobster leftover from the day before was a special treat. Thank you, Jocelyn for telling us about it and for the excellent service.
Our server, Jocelyn, was outstanding.
The lobster rolls were great!
My husband and I eat at the pub only for the clam bake in the summer. The pub itself is OK. It's just small so you feel like you are sitting on top of the next couple and you can hear their conversation. When there are small children or babies, the noise level is high.
Portions of veggies and potatoes were small. Otherwise very tasty!
Jocelyn is my favorite server! I will always ask for her
Not your average super market cafe. Nice menu with options cooked to order
One small disappointment in an otherwise good experience was that we had a reservation and the hostess had moved our table next to another table for a larger group. So we had to sit at the counter. Seems that reservations are not always reserved.
My wife and I are frequent patrons of the Pub and have always enjoyed it, however, that was not the case this time. I had the meat loaf dinner and it is kind of me to say it was disappointing. Then I was insulted by being given a coupon for a "free appetizer on your next visit" not to correct the current situation but to get me to come back and spend more money. Finally, after paying the bill in full, we couldn't even be given a half a cup of coffee refill because "you've already been cashed out." I'm sure we will back but with dampened anticipation.
It took 40 minutes to get a salad. Other than that it would have been okay.
Like this neighborhood place for consistent tasty food, variety and the service is excellent. Reservations make it very convenient.
We had not been to the Pub for a while. They never checked the reservation and we were seated in the area which is adjacent to the public eating area. The noise level was high since there were people using video games and talking on cell phones. The original server was nice, but apparently she was hurt and taken out on a stretcher. After that we had 3 different servers and had to wait for our bill and to pay.
The food was ok - not sure we will be going back any time soon. Really sad - the Pub use to be a good place to get a good meal, but the noise level made conversation difficult.
James Roth is a huge asset to Wegmans. He is friendly, helpful, efficient and makes great drinks!
Great Thurs. lobster specials, burgers, even turkey burger, salads and much more. Service can't be beat. All servers are wonderful; Debbie, Jocelyn, Tina, Diane, James, Dallas and a host of others stand out. And kudos for a fun happy hour.
Always have a delicious meal. Restaurant is clean, servers are friendly and attentive.
For the cost, it is the best overall food and service in the King of Prussia Area. The menu has an assortment of items and no matter what you order, the food is always delicious.
Limited menu but what is on it seems to be done reasonably well for a good price. The truffle parmesan french fries were a particular stand out, as was their macaroni and cheese. They have great weeknight drink specials, and the server was fantastic.
Wife and I stopped in prior to shopping. I had a nice piece of salmon with nicely done greens on the side, wife had the turkey burger. Calorie counts on the menu for the diet conscious (we were at the time). Nothing exceptional, but everything well done with good attentive service
My friends and I eat quite often at the Pub in Wegman's in both Collegeville and King of Prussia. Very good food, always fresh. Wait staff for the most part are friendly and attentive but not overly, which is perfect.
Awesome service burger was cooked perfect!!! Calamari was very good also I'm sure I be back soon.
Friendly service and staff, food is good and very accommodating in terms of disabled access, as we had a wheelchair. It’s right in the middle of Wegmans Supermarket and it’s a perfect spot for drinks,a quick dinner, and not spend too much. Down to earth place and a nice little casual enclave in the market.
Everyone that works there is so pleasant and cares about the job they do. Food and specials are great
Always great food friendly staff
I visited during a slow time. Wait staff kept disappearing. Food was okay.
We went early (before 6pm) to take advantage of the half price apps and were very disappointed to find out that not all of the apps were included in the happy hour deal. Of course, the items I had scoped out on their website ended up being full price...which I didn’t find out about until we were at the pub. Nowhere on the website does it say that certain items are excluded. Quite frankly, it struck me as a mild version of bait and switch, and because of that deceit I won’t go back. Too bad because the food was good.
JUST INSIDE WEGMAN'S. TABLE & BAR SEATING. GOOD SERVICE. DECENT MENU, REASONABLE PORTIONS WITH FAIR PRICES. DAILY SPECIALS.
