The Pub by Wegmans King of Prussia
Food was okay. I had the lobster roll and it had no flavor at all. The bun it was served in was burned. The Caesar salad had no flavor and was very wet. One of my dining companions had a burger and fries, they were so-so. Service seemed very scattered. Had multiple people come to try to take our order. They did not seem very busy, lots of empty tables. Not a good value for the price.
The lobster leftover from the day before was a special treat. Thank you, Jocelyn for telling us about it and for the excellent service.
Our server, Jocelyn, was outstanding.
The lobster rolls were great!
My husband and I eat at the pub only for the clam bake in the summer. The pub itself is OK. It's just small so you feel like you are sitting on top of the next couple and you can hear their conversation. When there are small children or babies, the noise level is high.
Portions of veggies and potatoes were small. Otherwise very tasty!
Jocelyn is my favorite server! I will always ask for her
Not your average super market cafe. Nice menu with options cooked to order
One small disappointment in an otherwise good experience was that we had a reservation and the hostess had moved our table next to another table for a larger group. So we had to sit at the counter. Seems that reservations are not always reserved.
My wife and I are frequent patrons of the Pub and have always enjoyed it, however, that was not the case this time. I had the meat loaf dinner and it is kind of me to say it was disappointing. Then I was insulted by being given a coupon for a "free appetizer on your next visit" not to correct the current situation but to get me to come back and spend more money. Finally, after paying the bill in full, we couldn't even be given a half a cup of coffee refill because "you've already been cashed out." I'm sure we will back but with dampened anticipation.
It took 40 minutes to get a salad. Other than that it would have been okay.
Like this neighborhood place for consistent tasty food, variety and the service is excellent. Reservations make it very convenient.
We had not been to the Pub for a while. They never checked the reservation and we were seated in the area which is adjacent to the public eating area. The noise level was high since there were people using video games and talking on cell phones. The original server was nice, but apparently she was hurt and taken out on a stretcher. After that we had 3 different servers and had to wait for our bill and to pay.
The food was ok - not sure we will be going back any time soon. Really sad - the Pub use to be a good place to get a good meal, but the noise level made conversation difficult.
James Roth is a huge asset to Wegmans. He is friendly, helpful, efficient and makes great drinks!
Great Thurs. lobster specials, burgers, even turkey burger, salads and much more. Service can't be beat. All servers are wonderful; Debbie, Jocelyn, Tina, Diane, James, Dallas and a host of others stand out. And kudos for a fun happy hour.
Always have a delicious meal. Restaurant is clean, servers are friendly and attentive.
For the cost, it is the best overall food and service in the King of Prussia Area. The menu has an assortment of items and no matter what you order, the food is always delicious.
Limited menu but what is on it seems to be done reasonably well for a good price. The truffle parmesan french fries were a particular stand out, as was their macaroni and cheese. They have great weeknight drink specials, and the server was fantastic.
Wife and I stopped in prior to shopping. I had a nice piece of salmon with nicely done greens on the side, wife had the turkey burger. Calorie counts on the menu for the diet conscious (we were at the time). Nothing exceptional, but everything well done with good attentive service
My friends and I eat quite often at the Pub in Wegman's in both Collegeville and King of Prussia. Very good food, always fresh. Wait staff for the most part are friendly and attentive but not overly, which is perfect.
Awesome service burger was cooked perfect!!! Calamari was very good also I'm sure I be back soon.
Friendly service and staff, food is good and very accommodating in terms of disabled access, as we had a wheelchair. It’s right in the middle of Wegmans Supermarket and it’s a perfect spot for drinks,a quick dinner, and not spend too much. Down to earth place and a nice little casual enclave in the market.
Everyone that works there is so pleasant and cares about the job they do. Food and specials are great
Always great food friendly staff
I visited during a slow time. Wait staff kept disappearing. Food was okay.
We went early (before 6pm) to take advantage of the half price apps and were very disappointed to find out that not all of the apps were included in the happy hour deal. Of course, the items I had scoped out on their website ended up being full price...which I didn’t find out about until we were at the pub. Nowhere on the website does it say that certain items are excluded. Quite frankly, it struck me as a mild version of bait and switch, and because of that deceit I won’t go back. Too bad because the food was good.
JUST INSIDE WEGMAN'S. TABLE & BAR SEATING. GOOD SERVICE. DECENT MENU, REASONABLE PORTIONS WITH FAIR PRICES. DAILY SPECIALS.
Great band and great food! Highly recommend making reservations on open table. The pub was very busy for a Friday night!
We shop at Wegmans several times a week, but we have never eaten at "The Pub" before tonight and we are glad we did! Everything was amazing!! The food, the service and the prices! We had 3 noisy kids with us and they never complained! Thank you for a great experience!
I know it seems strange to eat dinner in a supermarket, but it's actually very nice in Wegman's Pub. It has its own entrance, suitable decor, and privacy and feels like a pub and not a supermarket. We found the staff to be friendly, efficient, and helpful. The food is fresh and prepared for you. It's a good value. We selected the Pub since we were headed to Oaks to see the Cirque du Soleil and the only restaurants around there are chains. We opted for this local, unique spot instead of the generic chains. It's a good choice. I had their crabcakes which are tasty and have a good amount of crabmeat. My husband had their fish and chips which were just fine. I'd certainly return if I wanted to eat in that geographic area and avoid the chain restaurants at King of Prussia and Oaks. It's more personal, one-of-a-kind, and unique.
Not what we expected! Why not just say, we added a bar to the grocery store. As an avid user of Open Table, this is not a restaurant that should be on Open Table. There is No need to set up a reservation for a grocery store bar! Disappointing...
Stopped for a late lunch. Nice and quiet, with great service.
Menu was interesting, and for the money, it was a great value!
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Our server was amazing..
Great specials and food was yummy
Outstanding food and friendly service. Neighborhood gem!
Food was delicious! It was lobster night and I swear we had 2lb lobsters!!! Servers were great - who knew you could have such a wonderful dining experience in a supermarket?!?
DECENT RESTAURANTE FOR THE PRICE, FOOD ACCEPTABLY GOOD BUT NOT OUTSTANDING, SERVICE WAS AVERAGE. GOOD FOR CASUAL DINING BUT NOTHING PARTICULARLY SPECIAL
Certainly not what would expect for restaurant in supermarket. Excellent food and drinks. Even had live entertainment. Will definitely go back.
We had a great time. The food was excellent as was the service. We originally went to support the Restaurant Week event but ended up enjoying the menu items.
Checked out the Pub based on glowing reviews on Open Table. Made a reservation for me and my three boys. We were seated promptly, but service went downhill from there. Even though the place was half empty, it took 10 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us and ask for our drink and appetizer order, and it took 15 minutes after that to get two sodas and one cocktail. Then it was an additional 5 minutes to get a my son’s cup of hot tea. That’s 20 minutes to get a cup of tea. When we ordered our drinks and the hot tea the waitress warned us that it might take a few minutes because the water had to be heated up, but 20 minutes is ridiculous. It took over a half hour to get two appetizers (pretzel sticks and coconut shrimp), and it took another 20 minutes after the apps to get our entrees, which were a burger, a grilled cheese sandwich, and two other basic dishes.
There was little excuse for how slow the service was. We saw other tables that were seated after us get their food and drinks before us. The hostess was unapologetic and just kept saying how busy they were despite tables leaving and a half-empty restaurant. The waitress seemed unable to prioritize her tables.
The restaurant is located inside Wegmans and feels like you’re in an airport.
We will not be going back.
