Server was very courteous and careful with our gluten sensitivity
Lobster tail was good, though extremely small. The potatoes that were served with looked like crusty rocks - yuck. And the caesar salad had no flavor. The server was kind enough to offer me fries, which were okay. Wish the food were better since I live close.
Waiter forgot our appetizer, and never came back to refill our drinks even after we asked another waiter to help find him.
Food was excellent. Server was very courteous. The chicken added to our salads was outstanding in taste and cooked just right. We asked for dressing on the side but the salad came premixed - not a big deal. Server offered to redo it but it tasted just fine & we didn’t want to waste the food. All in all a great dinner.
We go for the oysters. The service was excellent. The raw oysters were good, but some were a little too small. We ate two dozen so I believe I have a good sample size to comment. The fried oysters were too much batter; too small oysters. Oyster stew soup was excellent. There were even clumps of oyster in the soup, a rarity.
The creme brulee was delicious, but was ridiculously small for the price. Not a good value at all.
Surprised to find a nice, cozy restaurant in a grocery store! It was a treat!
Got the dollar oyster special. That and cold beer on a Friday was perfect!
I came because I wanted to have raw oysters. Unfortunately they weren’t serving oysters until 4:00. I ordered a Greek salad with salmon and a glass of wine. Great meal, although disappointed about not being able to have oysters. Then I went shopping.
They no longer serve brunch here. Very disappointing. The brunch is what enticed is to be regular customers. Service has definitely declined and some portion sizes are ridiculously small, e.g., side soup. Not likely to return. 🙁
Good oyster week selections.
Things have definitely gone down hill in the kitchen. I ordered the lobster roll special —the lobster was so over-cooked it was tasteless. Even the fries that came with it were luke warm. This used to be a great place for a casual meal. Not any more.
We come here often for dinner. This time it was for lobster week.
I have been here a number of times. Overall cheap eats in an awesome grocery store. The happy hour menu is great!
Overall, really nice but, not gourmet.
Janine was an excellent server!
Loved this place. The food good and the service was exceptional - ask for Janine!
Pub staff went well "above and beyond." We had driven for more than a half hour (one way) to treat a friend to her first-ever clam bake for a special, "big one" birthday. Our reservation was for noon. Unbeknownst to us (and not on the website), on Sundays, the kitchen line doesn't set up for the clam bake until 2:00 due to the Sunday brunch menu.
The waitress, chef and manager went out of their way to make it happen anyway, bringing my husband and I to near tears to be able to taste, once again, the summers of our New England childhoods. Perfectly prepared!
This is a Restaurant in a supermarket but it is not a mickey d’s in a Walmart. The food is top quality and the cocktails are great! I had the spicy Thai mussel pot and a signature cocktail with organic vodka. The mussels were great and the broth could be sold alone, it was so good. They have premium spirits too. I enjoyed my experience and would consider dining here even if I didn’t need to do shopping.
Always look forward to summer and the lobster roll. Not quite authentic but satisfies the taste buds.
We like this Wegmans store very much, but not the Pub. Had been there before, this time we wanted to give it another try with the current promotion of clams/seafood hot pot. Even though it was their special June-July offer, it was not that good. The clams were small, the shrimp was small and overcooked, the extra-cost lobster tail was also slightly over cooked.
The service was subpar. The waiter was friendly but ineffective. It took a while for the cocktails even though the bar/restaurant was not busy, as there were a number of unoccupied tables. I had to ask the waiter if he put in our order because from our table we could see the bar tender was chatting with a customer and not making any drinks. Then after the drinks were finished, we had to signal the waiter to go to the bar and pick up our drinks. Come to think of it, he deserved a smaller tip.
Don't plan to go back to the Pub anytime soon.
The extra loud rating was because there was a gentleman playing live music and we were seated right next to him. It was Friday night and we decided to take the kids out to dinner and then grocery shop. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive. He even asked if we wanted to put the kids order in first so that it would come out sooner. (Great idea). The only problem was for some reason our food took FOREVER to come out so the kids were done waaaaay before our food even got to the table. And a table of 4 that were seated well after us got their food before us so that was annoying. The beer I wanted to try they were out of and that is not the first time we have been and they have been out of something on the menu. Overall we will go back because I like having a beer before I go grocery shopping but this particular experience could have gone better.
We celebrated Mother's Day with a brunch at the Pub by Wegmans. It was an intriguing option for a Mother's Day brunch and it made for a great meal for a three generation family. I think Wegmans uses their own produce, which was no doubt a contributor to our sides of green beans (usually of the 'quiet corner' group) being an excellent addition to the smoked salmon entrees that my wife and I both enjoyed. My 'Boldy Mary' drink was spicy as promised. Our grand-daughter had a great time, and everyone enjoyed their food and the casually elegant experience. We're going to put Wegmans' Pub on our 'brunch' list in the future.
Absolutely perfect...typical Wegmans 💕! This was my first visit to The Pub and I’ll definitely return. My martini fantastic, the service outstanding and the food amazing and so much of it!! Very impressed with the menu but I got the last shrimp po’boy which was one the specials, and yum!!!
Our bartender, Janine Biscardo, is excellent and is definitely one of the reasons I will return...SOON!!
Oh, and the prices were great!!
Hostess stuck us in the farthest corner she could find. The waiter took a while to come to our table. Food was good and delivered on time. Waiter never came around to ask about our food or refill our drinks. Basically almost threw the bill at us. So I left him $1.00 tip. Service was awful.
Open table has the pub on its list?doesnt seem like a open table Restraunt to me. Probably won’t be back for a long time.
Excellent choice!! Great food & service. Janine, our Server, was fantastic.
I ordered the steak and lobster tail. I requested my steak be cooked medium but it arrived very well done. I sent it back and declined to order anything else. This was after my first order was changed because they ran out of the pasta. I found this odd given the restaurant is inside a grocery store. My companion also received their order with a condiment they specifically requested not arrive on their meal. There was no apology or talk from management but they did remove the food from our bill without incident. We kept the mac and cheese we ordered to go with our meals. It was not very good. The pasta needed lots of salt.
Thursday night Service was super slow both for food and drink
We had a great meal and it was Lobster Week, so all were very pleased. Good spot!
Lobster week is great. Hot lobster roll was full of meat.
Spicy turkey burger and roasted veg lunch was delicious. Service excellent and friendly. Reserved table available within 5 min..
The food was just average, I had a Caesar salad with their special mashed cauliflower dressing and it had no flavor at all. It was a disappointment. Also, they don’t have gluten free options, just gluten sensitive with no guarantee of cross contamination, deal breaker for me. The service was good, everyone was very friendly.
Great place for a nice quick dinner. Great service and good food. Love the Wegmans
The worse St Patrick’s Day meal ever. The chef had no idea what Irish food is all about. They ran out of soda bread and corned beef. Total disaster!!!!!
The food and our server were excellent! We had a great time and are happy to have the Pub near our home.
I only stopped here because I went to the grocery store hungry... my idea on my behave. This was my first time at this location and I was curious as to what they served on the menu. I end up ordering the ABF Seared Chicken. It was good-- overall the mushroom sauce was a tad bit too salty. The sides were very skimpy compared to the actually chicken breast size. I didn't know restaurants still served watery spuds. The brussels sprouts looked like chopped sautee'd lettuce. Those could've been better.
Pleasant dinner. Sandwiches were first rate as was the service if a tad slow. Complaint deals with seating; my back to the bar with nothing to look at (not counting my good looking wife). Realize the Pub's physical limitations so a soft complaint. We'll be back.
This is such a well kept secret. I love Wegmans and after dining here, I love Wegmans even more.
Wonderful Valentine’s Special Meal for 2.
I wish the food was better.
We had a great dining experience for brunch yesterday. We had requested to be seated in "The Snug" but it was not available. However, one of the hosts brought our favorite appetizer to our table "on the house" as they recognized us as fairly regular diners. That was a really nice gesture. I had a delicious mimosa and tried the Belgian Waffles. The whipped cream on the waffle was out of this world ... so fresh ... it reminded me of clotted cream.
Service was great. Even when the power went out in the entire store because of a thunderstorm, the generators kicked in and the wait staff never missed a beat. They were prepared.
