The Pub at Doral Arrowwood Ratings and Reviews
We made a reservation for 20 and grew to be about 30. The staff quickly accommodated us .
Since family arrived at different times, food was ordered as people kept arriving.
Miguel, our server, did not flinch at our crazy, loud , disorganized ways.
He was awesome!
Thanks to all at The Pub for helping us celebrate our family reunion with a positive start.
Corporate Dinner since the buffett was closed. Prefer the meals here than at the buffett anyway. Server was very pleasant but some normal items (ketchup, water, sweet & low) were can we have requests, not here they are. Pork sliders and spicy wings were big hits with the table. Several Salmon dinners were ordered and finished. No room or interest in dessert.
New ownership change can mean goods things or not so good. Here is a case of the latter. SLOW service - altho clearly not enough help - prices went up, menu selections went down. no more turkey burger. no fun cocktail menu. same old same old 'specials'. We will look elsewhere for our evening meetings - of which we have approx. 10/year. Good bye Arrowwood Pub!
When we are going to have a family get-together, with cousins, nephews and grandchildren, we automatically pick The Pub at Doral Arrowwood. There are games for kids - including a billiards table and a Wii. Kids can be noisy and run around in the Games area, while parents just relax. The food is traditional Pub food, but well made and tasty. Service is excellent.
We went to the Pub for a graduation lunch.we were able to make a reservation which was very helpful. There were good choices of food on the menu. The food was fresh and cooked to order and the service was wonderful. If we had been drinking, there would have been good choices there too. They bring you homemade chips to start and have a great dessert menu. I can definitely recommend the Pub at Arrowwood.
Good food, good beer selection, good atmosphere, great location if staying for conference at hotel. Service is almost non-existent if you are not seated at the bar. Casual Team dinner for 12 colleagues, we had to repeatedly find and then ask the server to come back to the table for drink & food orders.
The family had dinner in The Pub with our 7 year old grand daughter. It was most enjoyable because the staff welcome children and there are things for them to do. Our granddaughter had fun playing Golf with a friend on the Wii. There was a small group of youngsters dancing to various CDs (e.g., the YMCA record). There are pool tables. The food was good and it was altogether a great evening.
We had a party of 16 and the Pub was very efficient and friendly handling the wide age spread and making sure that each person had what they requested. I did notice that the menu had changed along with increased pricing that raised the overall price for us at least 20% with no increase in quality or size. I was surprised that even the prices for a burger increased and there also was a charge for each item that was requested on the burger. We all had a good time but I will think twice about going there with such a large party.
The waiter was disinterested and not very friendly. We were his only table so he wasn't unattentive because he was busy. The Bloody Mary was horrible, the celery was soft and they had no horseradish to put in the drink. The food was better than the drinks and service. I had the vegetable panini and it was tasty.
Having paid dearly for weekend brunch in the main dining room, we decided to try the less-expensive pub for lunch on the weekend. We were not disappointed. The room was dark and quiet, save for the many distracting tv screens all over the place. We knew this before hand so were not surprised. The food on the lunch menu was typical for a pub, but was quite tasty and served well. We will now return here for a much more reasonable and delicious lunch.
