The Priory Inn has an outstanding reputation for serving truly local food with an exceptional and very genuine welcome. Converted from an ancient stable-block, the exposed beams, bare boards and walk-around fireplace are minutes walk from the buzzy Cotswolds market town of Tetbury. The Priory Inn team drew a 30 mile circle around Tetbury in 2008 and 90% of their food and drink comes from within that area. They believe everyone should know where their food comes from and the dedication and skill of the local farmers and producers drives them to do justice to the high quality of their food and drink. As well as simply cooked local meats and fresh produce, the Priory Inn's wood-fired oven turns out delicious pizzas and breads. The bar leads with a Cotswold micro-brewery's lagers, cider and wheat beer alongside the very best local real ales. Always welcoming to families, there are lots of home cooked goodies for children - they can make their own pizzas at their table!

Almost empty restaurant but we felt very rushed. Mains arrived as soon as the starters were cleared away and then straight onto dessert. Very Pleasant staff but food sadly mediocre. Live music was good but playing to an empty room.

Been here several times. We like the fact that they source ingredients from local suppliers - they really do use local producers. Their pizzas ( wood-fired oven ) are delicious - and HUGE. Love their burgers, and we were here as we had BOGOF burger vouchers. Plenty of variety and choice, and you can build your own - lots of choice for toppings and sides. BUT - when the two burgers arrived, where streaky bacon topping had been chosen, THERE WAS ONLY ONE RASHER! Costing £1! Are you joking! So - we complained ( nicely), and without any fuss got extra bacon. So they redeemed themselves. Their wine by the glass can also be a bit pricey. But we'd return. Nice staff - lovely food - garden to sit in.

terrible service, the waiting staff came three times within one minute of sitting down, I felt like I was being rushed, so they could use the table again. when the food came it was quite good, but there was no cutlery, we had to ask three separate times for things that were missing. when i asked for the bill it took another ten minutes to get it paid. this restaurant was recommended as the best in Tetbury, I hate to think what the others must be like, no thanks! I won't take a recommendation like this again. I was taking my aunt out to lunch and I was frankly embarrassed , expensive and not good.

Great place for a relaxed meal. Quite a varied menu that appeals to all palates - pizza, burgers, kebabs, chicken and pork dishes. The staff our courteous, and the service is relaxed and can be a bit non the slow-side. Having said that the young Irish chap is good.

Our second time to this lovely restaurant. We are a family of 5 (our children are 11,7 and 4). This is a great place for families- the right mix of grown up and child appeal! The food was great- love how it is all locally sourced. The kids love the make your own pizza and the staff were very thoughtful in shout No them over to actually watch their pizzas going in to the oven to cook. Would definitely recommend.
