Classic American steak house. Fabulous decor, excellent drinks served promptly, delicious food. No one does better service. A little on the pricey side but well worth it. I expect to be back quite soon.

What a beautiful restaurant. Reminds me of a Chicago or New York steak house. However, although the prime rib was one of the best we have ever eaten. The price was the highest I have ever paid throughout the world. It was over $100 more than most five-star restaurants. The soft music by a trio and the great staff made it an enjoyable evening. The price seemed overboard.

My favorite elegant restaurant Expensive but worth it Beautiful room with piano music. Experienced waiters and food is perfectly done.

Service was very good we were seated quickly and our waiter looked after us very well. We both ordered filet mignon , an 8oz was $75 so we expected it to be delicious… no seasonings at all and it was very bland. The portions of the sides fairly small. Definitely not value for money we were disappointed and sorry to say would not return.

I had great expectations. However, the prime rib was not well seasoned or came from inferior livestock. It was in no means with the unusual expense. We will never return

If you are Prime Rib lover like me, this is the place to go. Service was outstanding and the food was above average. PRIME RIB COOKED PERFECT.

I came here with a reservation to celebrate my birthday and the experience was well worth it. Getting to the restaurant was within walking distance of my hotel and easy to get to. I was greeted and quickly seated. Kim the server was amazing, they have a pianist in the center of the restaurant who is very good. I had a Large crab cake which came with a creamy sauce as an appetizer. The taste of the crab cake was good, but the sauce really made it stand out. I then had their Maine lobster which you have the option to get with, or without Imperial. The lobster is cooked then the inner-side is removed and stuffed with crab cake and shrimp in addition to the lobster then is placed back into the shell. I thought about adding the sauce that came with my appetizer but was concerned it would take away the seafood flavor and make everything too soggy. Im glad I didnt and just added lemons and the butter that already came with it. Whenever I come back to DC this will be my spot and will look forward to trying out their steaks.

The food and service were excellent. On top of a perfect night was the piano music performed by an excellent pianist! The prime rib was perfect. This is a must visit for a classic steak house!

Prime is a classic old fashioned steakhouse (a compliment) with an updated menu. Of note, Prime offers some unusual sides like potato sides, and grilled artichoke hearts. The mains are straightforward with an exceptional pork chops with figs and onions. The decor is classic upscale steakhouse with dark (black) walls, and comfortable banquets. I have been to 135 steakhouses and Prime is in the top 5%.

We have dined at the Baltimore Prime Rib many times. This is our first visit to this location in DC. Everything was fantastic service, food, live music from the baby grand piano player. Simply marvelous in every way.
