My husband and I were traveling through Wyoming and stopped in Gillette for the night. We had no idea what a great dining experience we were in for! Steaks were full of flavor and grilled to perfection. The wine list was impressive. Our server Lexi did an awesome job! Sooo happy!
Great selection of steaks and sea food. Best fine dinning in Gillette WY
Great steak and crab legs. Nice atmosphere and womderful waiter Tony!
Service was rushed, place was empty but server was always asking if we were ready as if he needed the table. No knowledge of wine and no offer to help guide us on choices. Simply showed up took order and dropped check. Food was fair, steak was tough which is hard to deal with for a 35 dollar NY strip cooked med rare. No mention of special of the day, if there was one, no offers of favorite items or personal recommendations.
It was top notch as always
It was a very busy night .... but we had excellent service.... and the food was SPOT ON!
Made a reservation for dinner while passing through town last weekend. We were seated in some back room that had zero atmosphere, and table and chairs that seemed kind of out of place, probably could have used some tablecloths.
This place has a very large selection of items on the menu, and I went for the regular cut of Prime Rib (ordered medium), around $28. When dinner arrived it seemed like the meat was barely cooked, not sure how it made it out of the kitchen like that. They gladly took it back to get cooked again, and brought me another slice, this one was still well below medium, and at that point I said I will take one medium well. The 3rd plate they brought was cooked perfect. The au jus was tasty, the broccoli was sort of dry. I also had some garlic mashed potatoes that were about a 6 out of 10.
I saw other guest with bread on their table as I was leaving, that was never offered to us during our meal at all.
The staff was very helpful in getting me the right piece of prime rib, but we had to ask for a lot of the other items we needed, salt, pepper, sugar. If I had a choice I would eat in the bar area, the other rooms don't seem to have much atmosphere.
I will give this place another chance next time I am in town, basically because the staff was so friendly.
Server forgot to bring my wine, had to request it numerous times; finally asked another staff than our server brought. the only other table set in our area was directly beside us. Space your patrons out so we can enjoy our privacy.. It was slow enough that this should not have been a concern.
We always have a great meal and our server is the best. I would recommend the Prime Rib to anyone who is hungry
Our server was on point, food was delicious. Highly recommend
Chose Prime Rib for my Birthday dinner. I wanted chicken fried steak. It came out with soggy breading and had to send it back. Came back crispy but over salted. Vegetable side looked horrible—Brussels sprouts and carrots all mushy. Husbands steak was overcooked and daughters prime rib was mostly fat. Other daughters flatbread was very good and grandson chicken strips were great. I ordered two lemon drop martinis. First one was good. Second one came out 3/4 full and no sugar on rim sent it back. Came back with sugared rim but still 3/4 full (first martini was a full glass). Waiter was okay, had him last time and he is slowly getting better. Mind you, this was second time I chose Prime rib for birthday dinner—last year I asked for medium well prime and it came out rare. Also came for Christmas-time family dinner (not by my choice) and they brought me out burnt prime rib couldn’t even cut through it. My daughter ordered prime cooked the same and hers was perfect. This place is consistently pretty terrible.
We had excellent service and a lovely meal, my drink was perfect
The food was excellent, service outstanding. World class wine selection. The server paced our meal to our parties desire for the evening. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect.
We took my in-laws to lunch for their 67 anniversary. Sat in the bar area because that is the nicest area of the restaurant and most comfortable
We have been enjoying Prime Rib since 1983. Always good food and good service.
The Prime Rib always offers fantastic service, food, and meets every need for each person dining there. The menus is diverse, but delicious.
Our server was very attentive and the food was awesome!
Ordered the prime rib and it turned out to be a very dry hunk of meat. It seems it had been reheated several times. Very disappointed. Why anyone would eat here is beyond my understanding.
Traveling towards home from Yellowstone, and wanted more good beef... this was it! Absolutely fantastic prime rib. Loved it! Cooked to perfect medium rare for me. Side were fresh and ample! Wonderful service too. I would come again if it wasn't so far from home!
I ignore american standards, but what is served as a prime rib would be simply forbiden in France.
the meat has been tenderized and it is forbidden at the butcher's shop as well as in a restaurant.
It was cooked has required, but had no tadte an no consistancy.
In addition the waitress charged us a dish at the wrong price, and confirmed even after we noticed her the mistake.
The food was good excellent. We had prime rib, and it was the best I have had in 20 years.
The food was fantastic. We enjoyed every course and the wine was just as good.
We were seated promptly per our reservation; service was slow, waited 45 + minutes to get our meal. We had two children with us the halibut was very dry. I've enjoyed previous meals here but I was disappointed this time around.
The waitress was outstanding though she was platooned into helping others with a larger party in a back room. She was very apologetic about the 20 minute delay in getting back to our table and the 40 minute delay on food after having placed our order. Wife's meal was lukewarm so it had been sitting a while. I ordered a whisky sour and got whisky and water with a maraschino cherry on top - sent that back and the waitress and the bar corrected the mistake.
Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo; carne top! Ambiente curato e tranquillo
There was a disconnect between our amazing waitress and the chef staff: Filet came out prepared not to order. Cheese-crusted burger was 10 of 10. Kids fried cheese and chicken was scrumptious but had been under heat lamp while they burned the filet.
Excellent service and food. Our server was very accomodating. Would go again.
Great menu, very nice people to help you-a really good place to eat!
Great fun and very good server!
Very nice job. Everytime I've been there the food has always been great and the service
It was a 4th of July week family gathering
Fabulous dining experience as always. The online reservation was fast and easy.
The prime rib was tough and chewy. The waitress brought a second piece which was no better than the first. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.
Had the petite filet, and my daughter had the chicken italiano. The meal and experience was simply great. Great food, great server too.
Waitress, used very polite word's but rushed through us and walked away while we asked for items.
We sometimes don't want a full meal and prefer appetizers. Appetizers at Prime Rib are always great!
I enjoy eating at the Prime Rib Restaurant because their food always taste really good.
We go quite frequently and most of the time have great meals. I wish there were more specials to chose from. The last chicken fried chicken special was not very good.
Every Sunday our family gets together for dinner at a local restaurant. We always enjoy dining at The Prime Rib, the meals are excellently prepared and the staff are always easy to talk to. Thank you for another enjoyable Sunday dinner.
the service was great we all were well satisfied with our meals even the children were happy with their meal love the fact that you do not have music blaring, so we can visit while we eat. We will continue to make Prime Rib our choice for eating out
