The Prime Rib Loft - Orleans Hotel & Casino Ratings and Reviews
Open table said one table left at 5pm however when we arrived the place opened at 5pm, we left at 5:45 and there were plenty of tables available. Once seated the service was quick and as expected. The garlic rolls tasted as they were microwaved and quickly grew hard. The big surprise is the prime rib! Large cut nicely seasoned and not too fatty. The price was very good compared to many of the local steak houses. We’ll be back
The Prime Rib Loft was a reasonably priced upscale dining experience. A glass of fine Moscato, an excellent Caesar, a melt-in-your-mouth 10 oz. prime rib perfectly prepared and one of the best baked potatoes I've ever had! No one can beat it for under $35.00. The dinner was better than Baltimore's Prime Rib where the bill usually is in excess of $100.00. I especially appreciated the waiter's (Rudy) advice when he knew that I had a late lunch that day...he suggested the smallest cut. I liked his genuine concern for the customer albeit a much larger check for the restaurant.
I'll be back, next time with friends!
Service was impeccable. Really stand out from host to server and everyone in between. Started with the grilled artichoke, very tasty with the vibrant aioli. Bread basket was a little drab, and I couldn't spread the butter, which just bugs me. Both my husband and I ordered The Orleans cut of prime rib, medium rare. He got the salad and a baked potato, I got the corn chowder and a baked potato. Both were very tasty. Prime rib arrived beautifully plated and delicious. I had it with the creamy horseradish, and each bite was tender and lovingly prepared. Gave the bananas foster a go for dessert, it was messy to look at, but very tasty. Good value for tasty prime rib in a Las Vegas casino.
Love the place. Best prime rib in town. The waitress checked on us once. Grabbed my 3/4 full salad place without asking. Gave us the bill without asking if we cared for dessert. We felt rushed. I’m local and have eaten there numerous times. I chalk it up to one bad waitress and an overall, steady, non stop, rushed, and overall poor experience. Totally unprofessional and her motivation to hurry us is unknown. She did not smile. Not once. Never asked any form of small talk. She introduced herself. Took the order. She dropped the check off and said nothing. Upon meeting us I expected, How are you? Have you been here before? Where are you from? Instead. Hi I’m Missy. Unsure of the name, What would you like to order. That’s it. I’m hesitant to return as there are so many other choices. Staff should treat every customer equally. This is certainly not the case.
Very good casino restaurant. And good value. My prime rib was excellent. Some of the others thought it was a tad bit rare for medium rare. Very good artichoke appetizer that was grilled. Would have like that to be served as an appetizer. Salads were brought first. Excellent HOT baked potatoe that was cooked in rock salt. All in all a very good experience. Great by the glass wine charge and pour. Would definitely go back !
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Prime Rib Loft. The service was outstanding, and we got the table we requested, along with a "Birthday Surprise" for my husband.
We will certainly come back the next time we're in Las Vegas. Thank you for helping us make this birthday so memorable.
I had googled the best prime rib restaurants in Las Vegas and this was one f the restaurants that came up. Lawrys also came up but it’s like $45-$50 per plate. I was amazed how nice this restaurant was, the prime rib was second to none and the service was excellent. The Loft is a very cool atmosphere because it’s set apart from the casino on a loft on the second floor. I recommend this place over any other high end prime rib house I have been to!!!!
I visit vegas monthly for business and always make a point to visit the Prime Rib Loft at The Orleans. It is a short Uber ride from the strip and worth the effort because the food is amazing, the staff is friendly and helpful and they remember their repeat customers. I always request a table at Abby's station because she is amazing provides some of the best service I have every experienced
All that and the prices are amazing. I recommend the Prime Rib Loft if you are visiting vegas and want to get away from the chaos of the strip and the strip overly high prices
The prime rib was above average and glad that they have four different cuts of ribs with various sizes. They were tender and tasty. The servers were okay, they were friendly but not going out of their ways to make sure everything was great. The hostess and the manager, the one in a suit with no tie (?) were really out of place. They were not dressed to their positions.
Because of their food, I would dine there again.
What a little gem in the Orleans. The atmosphere was bright, airy, and very welcoming. The service was exceptional, and the food was very good, not to mention the price. It was moderately priced and worth every penny. Just a little advice: if you have more than an average appetite, don't order the 10oz prime rib, go for the 14oz...the 10oz is a bit small, but oh so good! Also, if you like asparagus, then you must try the asparagus fries....they were delicious!
Have been going to The Orleans since they first opened and have eaten at the Prime Rib Loft every visit. They used to always have a wait but not the last 3 of 4 visits. Made reservations but did not state "booth preferred" at the time. Upon checking in, asked for a booth as we were taken to one of the numerous center-placed, light dominated tables. Hostess stated none were available...however two empty, in-bussed booths were right next to our table. We asked, " What about either of those tables?" She replied, "They wouldn't be ready for a 1/2 hour."
"It takes 30 minutes to bus a couple of tables? We will wait." She then retorted, "Other people are already waiting for those tables." This didn't sit well with us as we watched one booth sit unoccupied for our entire meal and the other for half the time. Meanwhile, 3 other booths also opened up and were bussed during our meal...remaining unoccupied. I sought out the manager and let him know about the issue. He was apologetic, offered a free dessert but explained he can't control customers who make reservations and are no-shows...which he claimed those booths were for no-shows.
The prime rib is good and the value is very good comparing to other Hotel dining options. The lighting is too bright, especially in the table areas. Our server was attentive (she did nothing wrong) but could sense we were not enjoying our meal. When there is a full crowd in there, it can be a little noisy - open side wall above the casino play area.
The manager also told us he noted in our guest profile to always have a booth and gave us a recommendation for a wine choice.
Had a wonderful meal and great value. Wife and I had prime rib and daughter had the porterhouse. Both were very tender and full of flavor. Daughter doesn't care for prime rib, but tasted mine and said she really liked it and would order prime rib the next time we are there. Great service! Everyone was very friendly especially our waiter. Sorry that I can't recall his name, but very patient and answered all our questions. Would and have been recommending it to friends when they are in Vegas. Thanks for a great meal.
Great restaurant, excellent food and outstanding service. Our waiter Tao and his assistant Yoyo were excellent. Best food, ambiance and value in Las Vegas. Prime rib melts in your mouth and is cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Prime Rib Loft at the Orleans casino. Jerry Dini
We have had several nice dinners over the years at the Prime Rib Loft. We keep coming back because the food is very good, the service is great and it always makes for a really nice dinner. While we have had many nice dinners, all over the world, this is one that we keep coming back too.
If you want a nice, quality dinner while in Vegas, this is a great option.
