Delicious as always!
Poor service, tough prime rib and a $500 check👎
SO looked forward to eating inside at one of our favorite restaurants. Couldn't give 5 stars across the board because some things were off. It was noisier then usual, place was pretty full. Our waiter that we know and love seemed hurried and a little forgetful. Food wasn't quite as perfect as usual. French fries cold, ground sirloin dry, could have used a gravy perhaps. Not cooked as specified. Prime rib too full of fat and difficult to cut. It too needed an au jus or something. Enjoyed the complimentary dessert for birthday. Irish coffee also just warm with the whipped cream falling off the sides.
It's been a favorite for too many years and this might have been an off night.
Awesome, consistently delicious and great ambiance.
Don’t ever move or close, do what you do so well for another 55 years.
Classic old world steakhouse. Live piano. Great service. I had the smoked salmon appetizer and, of course, the prime rib. I’ve been to all 3 locations. They never disappoint.
It was for my birthday and it was a great outcome and they handle my group very well
our steaks were overdone . they were taken back and replaced very quickly with fresh sides . Bill was great .
Superb service. Excellent food as usual. They still set the standard for steak houses
As always -- excellent steaks and excellent service.
Our server was terrible . We have been going there to eat for 20 years and never have we had a server than was sloppy, never asked us if we wanted a cocktail after we sat down. He was not attentive at all. This is not something we have experienced in the last 20 years. We had a bottle of Chardonnay with dinner. In the last pour my husband had what looked like a piece of stick in it. When we brought it to the severs attention his response was it’s probably sugar . He took my husbands full glass of wine away and never bought us any more. His response was that he checked and the “stick” was sugar and he was right. Since when did the Prime Rib have such rude servers. He did make it a point to tell us that he checked and he was right, it was sugar. Our dinner guests even commented that he must have come from a low level chain restaurant and probably struggled there.
The finest old school restaurant in Baltimore.
The best place to eat in Baltimore.
Amazing, as always. The seafood here is even better than the legendary steaks. And don’t forget dessert! The Prime Rib is The quintessential steakhouse experience. And the Service is exemplary.
Excellent service and food, the staff was polite, and very accomondating as always
Great food and service.
Celebrated my brother and sister in law 40th wedding anniversary. Great night good food and the atmosphere was perfect
The food was excellent, as was our waiter, Bob.
Thank you
As expected, the wait staff service was OUTSTANDING as was the entire meal.
My first time visiting during the week (Wed.) The only minor complaint is that there was NO VALET service available upon my arrival. As luck would have it, there was a parking space right in front of the restaurant. In all, it was a most enjoyable experience.
We certainly look forward to getting back to our restaurant schedule.
Always amazing. The best restaurant in Baltimore
Waitress was outstanding! Food was delicious! Met some good people! Ambiance was everything. My experience was very proper! Will be back.
Always great!
The food was wonderful. The escargot was my personal favorite. My wife loved her crabcakes and the prime rib was tasty. The only knock was service was slow but thankfully my family and i were in norush.
A birthday celebration. Our waiter was wonderful, attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious. Recommend highly!
The Prime Rib has long been one of Baltimore’s best restaurants. In spite of the pandemic they have continued to keep their classic offering available. Food quality was, as always, exceptional. Service was outstanding. Ambience is out of another, more graceful era. Overall, one of the best dining experiences one can have in Baltimore.
For the first time I was very disappointed with our meals at this restaurant. Unfortunately this was a birthday dinner for my husband. The prime rib was good, my husband’s house salad was fine. However my lobster bisque had two very small pieces of lobster all the way at the bottom of the bowl and that was it. The worst part of the meal was the onion rings that my husband ordered. They were dark, way overcooked to the point where it was all crunch with hardly any onion flavor. He decided not to send them back. This used to be our go to restaurant especially for special occasions, but this meal was subpar and definitely not up to the Prime Rib standards of our past experiences.
Great food, great service and lovely music! Look forward to next time!
Wonderful and consistently delicious food. Attentive service. Nostalgic atmosphere with beautiful live music. Best martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives. There is just no place like the Prime Rib Baltimore.
Make up visit from our cancelled Christmas reservation.
Outstanding service from Bob. Prime rib and lamb chops- perfection.
If you are looking for a romantic dinner look no further than the Prime Rib. My wife and I have been going here for
49 years.
We love going to The Prime Rib house, it is one of our favorite places to go when we are in Baltimore
Waiter was sarcastic.
Everything was excellent from the food to our history Bradly. Drinks were exceptional we went for a double bday date and everyone had a great time! We'll definitely be back
Took my son out for a nice steak. The Prime Rib delivered. I had the 28 ounce prime rib. Lots of fat rendered the edible portion much less than 28 ounces but still plenty of tasty meat. Although at $74 there should have been. He had the ny strip which I tasted. It was excellent. Onion rings broccoli I and bread were very tasty.
All in all it was a great, albeit pricy meal.
Consistent top notch experience
Prime Rib remains a special dining experience even with low seating capacity. The service remains impeccable and the food is outstanding. The team at Prime Rib has perfected "delivery" options. I had several left overs from our meal and the packaging used by the Prime Rib allowed me to store the food, reheat it and have the same wonderful flavors days later.
We had a lovely time for my mother’s birthday she cannot stop talking about it!
It never disappoints. Good food. Please try the potatoes skins. Thank me later 😄.
The waiter was great and the food was delicious..
We love The Prime Rib for fine dining and looked forward to Thanksgiving dinner since we have not been there since March 2020. Covid-19 has had its effect there unfortunately: fewer staff working, no busboys, clothed tables empty but for candle light fixtures, our waiter slow at clearing dirty dishes or filling water glasses (only after we requested him to do these tasks), different pianist who seemed much less engaged, quieter atmosphere w far fewer tables and people, etc. BUT, as always, the food was outstanding! Chilean sea bass was prepared perfectly from the grill-- the best fish I have ever eaten! The escargots in garlic butter were divine served w toasted baguette. Was great to see Sean at the door, John (serving as manager) and Mark in the bar. Look forward to returning again to eat at the bar, always delicious and fun. Was good to hear the curbside pick-up dinner business is doing well... would be very sad to ever see them close for lack of business!
Love Prime Rib. Will come back. Can have drinks at the bar which was wonderful. Great service and food and cocktails and wine. And a piano player!
