A lovely and memorable experience that always leaves us wanting to come back for another. Thank you to the whole team at The Prime Rib Baltimore!
Best steak restaurant in Baltimore. There is no real debate.
Even though the fact we were celebrating a birthday was noted on the reservation, nothing was said until after we had desert and were paying the bill. The manager came over, wished a happy birthday to the person celebrating , apologize and offered us a piece of chocolate mousse pie which we declined since we already had desert. It would have been nice if he had comped the desert we had already eaten.
Our waiter was one of the best we’ve ever had at any restaurant ever.
As always a great time from being greeted to saying good night. Nathan’s service was impeccable. He made our night fantastic food was wonderful as usual thanks again for a great night of food and drinks
Anniversary! Great place...period. Been coming here for years.
Waiter was fabulous. Valet parking seamless. A great gem
The Prime Rib is my all-time favorite Baltimore restaurant. It doesn't get any better than this!
The Prime Rib is so consistent the Food and Service were just outstanding
Probably fine dining rather than mid range and the prices to match, but the quality certainly justifies the price. Great for business meetings and romantic meals but definitely a more formal dining experience
Lovely time as usual
By far my favorite restaurant. The service is amazing.
The Prime Rib is our favorite "go to" place for special occasions. We always enjoy the atmosphere. The food is always good and the wait staffalways makes foor an exceptional evening.
This was one of our best meals ever at the Prime Rib. Bob is an amazing waiter - truly one of Baltimore’s best. He made our special occasion even more memorable with his kind and attentive service. Fabulous drinks, food, live jazz, and overall elegant atmosphere. Thank you!
It was my husbands 70th Birthday and it was perfect as usual
This is our favorite restaurant and we go here often, never disappointed ..
An awesome dinner with the Wittich Family. Prime Rib a 40+year family tradition
Go Buzz Belair!
Wonderful appointed inside. Great service, great food. Prices are high.
Everything was great from the moment we entered the restaurant.
My go to place for special occasion place.
Latest visit did not disappoint. Everything was A+ with the exception of service which was A++
Best steak in maryland. Perfect ambience for special celebrations.
We love the prime rib and always enjoy our food and experience while there!!
The Prime Rib is consistently outstanding. The valet parking is free, the food is fantastic, the service is highly professional, and the ambiance is old school high class. What's not to like? You may pay top dollar for your special occasion experience, but its worth every penny!
Wonderful food, the Filet Mignon is amazing, definitely my new favorite place to have Steak in Maryland. We had dinner here for my birthday, and the service couldn't have been any better, absolutely fantastic. My husband had the New York strip and he was equally satisfied. The complimentary dessert was so delicious, it was the Chocolate Mousse Pie, and I will definitely order it again the next time I come here. Thank you so much for making this a special birthday for me!
We had a $50 coupon that my husband received for his birthday, and we had a gift card, so dinner was, for all intents and purposes, free. But it was really delicious. I had Chesapeake Bay rockfish, a baked sweet potato, and asparagus with hollandaise. My husband had a prime rib steak and creamed spinach. We both shared a lovely bottle of Justin cabernet from Paso Robles (where we had visited the winery a few years ago). It's a special occasion kind of place, but well worth it.
I have been going to the Prime Rib for years but hadn’t been in a long time. I was disappointed that so many patrons were so badly dressed, including a couple at the bar in jeans! Given the prices, you’d think people would treat a meal there with a bit more finesse. The food is. Sry tasty, though, though the portions are enormous!
One of my best experiences ever. Our waiter was Edward McCormick and he was outstanding..we had a 9 year old with us and Edward was extremely kind to our little boy...
The dining experience was wonderful. Our waiter was not as attentive as I have had in the past. I understand that he had a table of twelve that he was serving next to us. Support for him would have been appreciated
I really like the relaxed atmosphere, the food was excellent as usual and our waiter very nice and attentive.
This is hands-down one of my favorite restaurants. The music, the ambience, the service, and the food are more than exceptional. This is a Baltimore fine dining stable, and I see why. I will definitely be back.
This is our third visit here. To be fair, the other two visits exceeded expectations.
From drink & appetizer to dinner & dessert, everything was perfect on our two previous visits. This Saturday we went with 6 people for my daughter's birthday. Server was attentive initially. Table was ready. Salads were great. Lobster bisque was congelled and cold. The main entrees were not even average. They were not good. 4 Prime Ribs, only one wasn't overcooked. Ordered MR and they were well done like shoe leather, no pink and almost no au jus. You could tell they we prepared on a different day and reheated. One of the prime ribs was perfectly cooked but not fresh. They did offer to exchange them. They removed one from the bill. I do not care about the cost, if I did we would not have gone there. I expect that the food will be prepared correctly the first time. There server never should have even brought them to the table. They also brought the dinner side out with the appetizers by accident as well. I asked for a special dessert for my daughter, the waiter obliged and brought it over buy never offered anyone else at the table dessert. After he dropped hers mousse cake with a candle, we sang Happy birthday (he did not participate) and brought the bill. They were definitely off their game. Not anywhere close to our previous experiences at this establishment. Disappointed.
My wife and I give our adult children the gift of fine dining and try to introduce them to a long standing Baltimore Restaurant that they don’t know exist. This year it was The Prime Rib and they did not disappoint. Every one of our appetizers and mains were excellent and the kids were raving about the presentation and quality of the food. Service was also first class. The only reason I rated value as a 4 instead of 5 is that this is a very expensive restaurant but we absolutely got what we paid for and I would do it again. The Prime Rib remains the best restaurant for old school fine dining in Baltimore.
Food and service were excellent; however, tables are very close together so you feel cramped with difficulty walking between tables. Had my arm bumped numerous times by passing waiters. Noise can also be elevated. While we both thoroughly enjoyed our main course selections, we were disappointed with the clams casino appetizer. The clams were very tiny and certainly did not warrant $18.00. Bread pudding dessert was terrific!
It’s a little tight in the dining room and we were sitting next to where the wait staff kept their trays. Overall I really enjoyed the experience. The staff was over the top friendly. If I make reservations again I will ask to not be seated next to the tray area.
Service great Food perfect every time. Love this restaurant. Expect to drop a few bills per person. But it is worth it.
It was lovely. I was not that impressed with the renovations and my leather chair was ripped and threadbare—not what I expect with a $250 meal. Not sure what else was needed but for a basic steak dinner the price was pretty ridiculous. We can afford meals like this but we probably would go elsewhere in the future. Felt like it was resting on past laurels and needs updating in menu selections.
We went for the band, which was stupendous — but were happily surprised by the food. Yes, expensive — but also very good. Try the Imperial crab and the caesar salad!
Very romantic and intimate setting . Servers and waiters prompt. Good drinks. Nice and strong.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Highly recommend restaurant for a special occasion.
