Can't speak enough about how great the food taste. Service was excellent as always since we had our same great waiter from our last visit.
Our salad was split between 2. There was no taste or flavor. Our server, who was awful overall, told us that the kitchen did not add the appropriate amount of cheese to the salad. My steak was a dry aged strip and tasted terrible. It was full of grizzle and was very tough. The onion rings we ordered were burnt and were falling apart and were nothing like those we had during our last meal here. We waited a long time for our dinners. Our server was not responsive to our requests. Overall, our food was not good and priced @ $68.00 my steak belonged in the garbage can. However, my wife’s lamb chops were very tasty.
Food was excellent. Service was great.
I really enjoyed the hot and crispy clusters of tentacles in the calamari.
We had a great dinner. There were 3 of i
Us. We had the shrimp cocktail and lobster mac and cheese for appetizers. For dinner I had the N.Y. Strip with a crab cake add on. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the crab cake was jumbo lump with great flavor. My guests had the Ribeye and it was also cooked and season perfectly. For sides we had the augratin potatoes, mash potatoes and asparagus. We had 2 bottles of Duckhorn Cabernet and that was plenty. We were too full for dessert but Sara (our server) brought us out a scoop of Chocolate gelato and it was outstanding. Sara was great. She was personable and efficient and all of our needs were met in a timely manner.
The food was good and the atmosphere even better. One drink was not made to order. We had fun. Would recommend for date night.
Server was excellent. Food taste wise was perfect but the temperature of the food was not. Red snapper - fish and most sauce was hot but spinach paired with it was cold. Baked potato was barely warm but they brought out another one that was hot. A bit noisy for fine dining and there was a woman two tables from us speaking on speaker phone. Staff should have put a stop to that.
Excellent - as always!!! Great service, great food!!!
Went with spouse for anniversary dinner. Hostess was very nice; waiter was not. He served several other tables several times before he finally came over to take our drink order, making it obvious he wasn't interested in serving us. He never came back after bringing us drinks. Asked hostess for table served by different waiter. Second waiter was nicer, but service was still slow. At least food (bread, lamb chops, prime rib, asparagus, macaroni and cheese) was good. Not worth returning to, though.
The food was good, exept didn’t like the lobster macaroni and cheese, great atmosphere, classy.
My husband and I were in Maryland for the Preakness and wanted to celebrate a special event. We got reservations while at Pimlico and were seated on time. Service is good, but they are usually pretty busy. I had one of the best glasses of Pinot Grigio there. We did see a guy in shorts which was completely out of character for a pretty classy place. Maybe they should have (or enforce) a dress policy?
I've dined here twice over the past few weeks and was impressed with both the food and the service with emphasis on the latter. When I dine at an upscale restaurant, I hope to be treated well and the staff did not disappoint: Andreas, David and Dariah all excelled and made us feel welcomed. And my dining companion's gluten free requirements were acknowledged and addressed.
Worst dining experience in a long time.
Service was outstanding, made reservations same day, it was at 10 pm , I got there early they were able to seat me at 9:15. Thanks & Crab cakes were very good. Would recommend
VERY GOOD ATMOSPHERE, FOOD IS GREAT AND THE SERVICE WAS BAR NONE
I thought the service was great, especially the waitress. She knew here job and was polite and the food just melt in your mouth. The food was better, than anything I had in Las Vegas. The price was a little high, but when you want outstanding you have to pay for it
Enjoyed great food, pleasant atmosphere, and very good wait staff. Would definitely recommend dining at the Prime Rib for any occasion.
The service was meticulously outstanding without being bothersome. The steak was well prepared (we had our medium well done and it was tender and flavorful). The lobster macaroni and cheese was too salty. I don’t recall tasting or seeing lobster in the casserole. The broccoli with bacon was delicious. The cocktails were especially delightful.
i ordered the Red Snapper. oops...out of Red Snapper. i ordered the Rockfish. 15 min later..No Rockfish. Just give me the Sea Bass. Manager had to come over and inform me that she was just just told their is no Sea Bass. sShe was very nice but at that point , i didnt care what a ordered. Got the filet and brought it home. My sons Prime Rib was very fatty. Waiter was very nice. Its a shame, the Prime Rib in DC has always been fantastic.
I dine here a few times a year and this was my first bad experience. A party of three, we arrived on time for 5:30 reservations, had cocktails and appetizers, yet our main course took another full hour to be served. The steaks and sides were done to order and served hot, but the sea bass was cold. The assistant manager apologized and said it was due to the time it takes to cook the steaks (?!). If it weren’t for the bread pudding (outstanding) and coffee, I would have rated it one star.
Also, the dress code is a joke. Having previously been seated at the bar for being in a party dressed “casually”, I ate dinner facing a man in an Orioles baseball cap and t-shirt, and a party were the men were in long-sleeve polos/t-shirts and one in a leather motorcycle jacket (at least it was a “jacket”).
This was our first time at the Prime Rib and we really enjoyed it!! The food was really good. The only things is that it would be nice if the sides came with the Entree verses Ala Carte.
We loved the Prime Rib at Maryland Live. It was less dressy than expected. We were told business casual, but there were men there in jeans and tennis shoes. Our waiter, Scott, was excellent! The only downside was that my husbands prime rib had a little too much fat in it for his liking.
It was our 25th Anniversary and they brought us a free creme brule to share with a candle and a little piece of chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. So sweet!
I would definitely recommend for special occasions.
Impeccable service! My family and I came for a birthday celebration and we had a wonderful dining experience. The food is good and the service really makes the experience worthwhile. The ambiance is very nice. However, it said business casual for attire and that wasn’t the case for most of the diners there, but the staff dresses professional and the service was very professional. Great for a date or celebrating a special occasion!
Enjoyable from beginning to end.
Not quite the downtown “Rib” but
Good none the less.
Very disappointing, compared to previous trips. Ordered NY strip medium rare, came medium. After waiting while others had sides, Prime Rib included "make-up" sides on the bill -- had to demand the charges be removed. Server and floor mgr made way too much of a big deal that we brought wine to be corked (and charged), even though Prime Rib website noted no problem (and corkage fee). All in all, disappointing at those prices; won't return.
Very nice treated well. Food very good
I’ve eaten there before but the service last night was not as good. Nobody refilled our water and by the middle of dinner my glass was empty.
Prime rib was tuff, not worth the 60.
I mentioned to waittress and she said nothing.
Oysters we're good.
David was excellent. For convenience, we choose this location, downtown definitely remains our favorite. The casino atmosphere takes away, nevertheless one can never go wrong with The Prime Rib.
I always save up my comp dollars from Maryland Live! for a nice dinner at Prime Rib with friends. It's a great atmosphere and great food. If I were paying cash I would say it's a little on the pricey side, but if i can use my comps for a nice dinner for 4 once or twice a year, that's well worth it. Definitely recommend.
Excellent place to dine. The food was great, service was great and the dining experience was phenomenal. I would recommend The Prime to all my friends.
We have dined at the Prime Rib before and as in the pass everyone and the food was exceptional.
The food was awful. Scallops were burnt on one side and overcooked (spongy). Service was pushy, the restaurant was NOT busy or packed and we felt like the bartender was pushing us to order quickly because "the kitchen takes a while", we would order drinks and it was like he forgot about us until we'd ask another bartender. We wanted to enjoy each others company and felt like we were pressured the whole time.
MANAGEMENT is awesome, took care of us when we ordered cigars to enjoy on the patio, took his time with us. WE DID NOT COMPLAIN to him about our experience, he engaged with us on his own and we really enjoyed the conversation.
Prime Rib at Live was not as we expected, we were disappointed.
Walked in with no reservation at 715pm. We were told the earliest they could seat is is 930pm. Walked out fired up open table and made a reservation for 730pm. Looks like they were under staffed. The host, Michael, actually was our server and was fantastic. The food is not up to par compared to the prime rib I'm DC and baltimore. Mushrooms came out cold with zero flavor. The damaged onions were pulled out of a fridge even though they were grilled. The center of the onions were ice cold. Given the cost they need to fix the food. Next time we'll skip prime rib at live casino.
Frequent visitor in the area and always enjoy dining at The Prime Rib
A superb culinary experience. The meal was outstanding and the service was impeccable. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the casino. I will definitely eat there again.
Everything was real nice the steak was tender, the salmon was seasoned real good and the service was top notch.
The prime rib is very good at what they do. It's a standard, concise menu that has plenty of options. I come here often. Service is great.
We were seated right away for 8pm reservation. Our sever Scott was prompt with menus and drink service. My old fashioned was excellent. Scott also took the time to go over all of the nightly specials. He seemed quite knowledgeable.
We both decided on the wedge salad and prime rib eye. Salads were fresh and steaks cooked a perfect medium rare. No room for desert although I did have coffee.
As we were finishing up friends of ours were sat in Scott’s section as well. We joined them and Scott was nice enough to let us finish up and cash out with him at our friends table.
Overall a great experience as usual.
