I’ve eaten there before but the service last night was not as good. Nobody refilled our water and by the middle of dinner my glass was empty.
Prime rib was tuff, not worth the 60.
I mentioned to waittress and she said nothing.
Oysters we're good.
David was excellent. For convenience, we choose this location, downtown definitely remains our favorite. The casino atmosphere takes away, nevertheless one can never go wrong with The Prime Rib.
I always save up my comp dollars from Maryland Live! for a nice dinner at Prime Rib with friends. It's a great atmosphere and great food. If I were paying cash I would say it's a little on the pricey side, but if i can use my comps for a nice dinner for 4 once or twice a year, that's well worth it. Definitely recommend.
Excellent place to dine. The food was great, service was great and the dining experience was phenomenal. I would recommend The Prime to all my friends.
We have dined at the Prime Rib before and as in the pass everyone and the food was exceptional.
The food was awful. Scallops were burnt on one side and overcooked (spongy). Service was pushy, the restaurant was NOT busy or packed and we felt like the bartender was pushing us to order quickly because "the kitchen takes a while", we would order drinks and it was like he forgot about us until we'd ask another bartender. We wanted to enjoy each others company and felt like we were pressured the whole time.
MANAGEMENT is awesome, took care of us when we ordered cigars to enjoy on the patio, took his time with us. WE DID NOT COMPLAIN to him about our experience, he engaged with us on his own and we really enjoyed the conversation.
Prime Rib at Live was not as we expected, we were disappointed.
Walked in with no reservation at 715pm. We were told the earliest they could seat is is 930pm. Walked out fired up open table and made a reservation for 730pm. Looks like they were under staffed. The host, Michael, actually was our server and was fantastic. The food is not up to par compared to the prime rib I'm DC and baltimore. Mushrooms came out cold with zero flavor. The damaged onions were pulled out of a fridge even though they were grilled. The center of the onions were ice cold. Given the cost they need to fix the food. Next time we'll skip prime rib at live casino.
Frequent visitor in the area and always enjoy dining at The Prime Rib
A superb culinary experience. The meal was outstanding and the service was impeccable. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the casino. I will definitely eat there again.
Everything was real nice the steak was tender, the salmon was seasoned real good and the service was top notch.
We were seated right away for 8pm reservation. Our sever Scott was prompt with menus and drink service. My old fashioned was excellent. Scott also took the time to go over all of the nightly specials. He seemed quite knowledgeable.
We both decided on the wedge salad and prime rib eye. Salads were fresh and steaks cooked a perfect medium rare. No room for desert although I did have coffee.
As we were finishing up friends of ours were sat in Scott’s section as well. We joined them and Scott was nice enough to let us finish up and cash out with him at our friends table.
Overall a great experience as usual.
The prime rib is very good at what they do. It's a standard, concise menu that has plenty of options. I come here often. Service is great.
I dined with a friend to celebrate my birthday. We ordered drinks, filet mignon, lobster tail and 2 other sides. Our waiter was excellent and professional. The hostess checked on us several times as my other friend was running late. Despite this, we were graciously treated. Our night turned out to be a surprise when the Executive VP and General Manager of the Maryland Live Casino approached me to inform me that I was chosen that night for a birthday treat and our meal was on the house! What an incredible surprise! Without the surprise, however, our meal was delicious, and the service superb.
Filet was raw and chewy. Ribeye was well done , not medium. Not up to previous standards.
Service was spot on but the sides were horrible! Creamed spinach had no taste and mashed potatoes had to be instant. They were out of au gratin potatoes. Oysters were good. But lobster tail tasted freezer burnt. For the amount of money it was not worth it. Steak was just ok too, I was so disappointed. We usually go to Fleming’s or Ruth’s Chris. Haven’t been here in a while, thought we’d try the casino location. Hey I won $500 after dinner so that made up for it!
Excellent service and environment, great job and I will be recommending to friends
Valet Parking Validated. Choices for entrees and beverages was fabulous. Our Server, Ray, took care of everything. He recommended specials. He was very knowledgeable in every aspect of the food's sourcing and preparation.
Outstanding Calamari!! Very tender and very fresh! The Snapper, Chilean Sea Bass, and the Prime Burger were all PERFECT!
Was a very good evening and the food was simply extraordinary.
Great place with great food. The service was wonderful as always and the food did not disappoint. Enjoyed date night here and would definitely go again.
It was my wife's 75th birthday. She wanted a new dining experience. She selected sea bass for her entree which had been highly recommended by our server. She thought everything about her selection was outstanding. We had a wonderful experience and I know we will return again.
We’ve been to this location many times and had a great experience. Our waiter this time was a little odd, even leaving the table in the middle of sharing the specials (he just walked away). It also took us quite a while to get our food.
I ran up to Maryland Live Casino for a night of fun and had dinner at Prime Rib. My waiter was Marty and he was attentive and knowledgeable. He recommended a special appetizer, Oysters Chesapeake and they were fabulous. I also had an excellent Argentine Malbec wine. Instead of an entree, I opted for another large appetizer, Cold Seafood assortment, and Marty had no problem with it at all. It was close to a pound of shrimp, oysters, clams, crab, and lobster on a two level plate; and I had trouble finishing the entire meal. But I tried. Could not eat dessert. Took home the shrimp and the remaining crab with a roll and some red sauce. Great meal. Great service. Great wine. Good value. And I won at Blackjack.
This was one of the most enjoyable outing I have had with my wife. As we celebrated her birthday the staff was welcoming and polite. The service really made the night special.
It was a good experience. Food was rich and extravagant..atmosphere not as refined as you would expect for pricing..no hard dress code enforcement..over real food was good and service was good.. what more can you ask for.
Excellent food and service!
Always enjoy the Prime Rib when we are at Maryland Live
The food was very good!! The cocktail sauce served with the Shrimp cocktail was excellent- the variety of the bread they served was all really good. I also had the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. The staff was very accommodating and offered suggestions on food and wine. I will definitely return
My girlfriend & I were a little skeptical about the restaurant at first. Being as we were not impressed with the casino. We were pleasantly surprised. It was an enjoyable meal. We will be back.
I don't think this location is under the same ownership as DC/Balt/Philly locations, and you should not expect the same quality of service or food. Decent place for dinner, if you're headed to the casino, but lower your expectations significantly.
My boyfriend and I had a date night here. The food was wonderful and the service was impeccable. Pablo was our server and was attentive but not too attentive. He left us alone if we were deep in conversation but was available if we needed something. Food was well cooked and flavorful. Restaurant was clean and the rest of the staff was friendly. We will definitely return.
Excellent service and amazing 🍷
Restaurant was very busy. Long wait for food and order was incorrect. Something that is NOT typical for this restaurant. The staff and management more than made up for it! Excellent food and service!
My husband and I had a spectacular night on Saturday at Prime Rib at Maryland Live. The food, service, atmosphere were all above and beyond. We have dined at this location a few times before and this was by far the best experience yet. The manager, Trey, made the rounds through the dining room to make sure everyone was happy and having a great time. That is the first time I have seen that kind of attention here. We really appreciated it. Our server (sorry, can't remember his name) was very attentive and engaging. We started with Oysters Rockefeller and Sesame Tuna. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. The oysters were plump and juicy. The tuna was just melt-in-your mouth tender and seasoned with the perfect amount of sesame seeds. I had the signature cut Prime Rib, which was huge and perfectly cooked to my request of medium. My husband had the filet and also agreed that his was cooked to exactly the right temperature (medium rare). Both cuts were very tender. You really didn't need the steak knife to cut them. Don't even get me started on the bread basket. Warm and puffy, with lots of variety. The herbed butter that is served alongside the bread just makes it perfect. We split a bananas foster for dessert and really enjoyed that as well. Not one misstep the entire night. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially for special occasions.
It was good. Services was excellent as usual. Going to need cook to taste the lobster bisque. Sometimes it’s really good then there are times when it’s bland. That should never happen. But steaks are always cooked well. Thanks for a good night.
The prime rib that we got is not the same quality of the prime rib we’ve gotten in the other Prime Rib restaurants. There was so much fat on it that it took up half the plate. It also was not as tender. The fries were served lukewarm. This is not what we expected.
First of all, the restaurant temperature was cold and we were under the impression that there was a recommended dress code. There were several patrons with sneakers and t-shirts as well as one wearing a baseball cap turned backward. This certainly was not expected at a restaurant of this quality in the main dining area. We were not impressed with the service or the food. We ordered the calamari appetizer (no complaint- it was cooked perfectly), the prime rib, the filet mignon with an add-on of king crab legs with the bearnaise sauce and house steak sauce, the creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes. The meal came out without the sauces and we had to send the filet back as it came out cold as if it had been sitting before being brought to our table. When they took it back I don’t know if it was microwaved but it was then overlooked from medium to well. Instead of sending it back a second time I ate it anyway as we had already been waiting a while for the main entrees. This was odd to me as normally fine dining restaurants prepare a new steak. The crab legs were mediocre as they the meat was dry. I had higher expectations for this restaurant for a nice Birthday dinner. I have visited he Baltimore location and frequent other fine dining restaurants in DC & Virginia but I would not recommend this location for a pleasant dining experience.
Lobster bisque was served warm, not hot with very little lobster. Steaks did not come to the table hot and looked like anyone could have cooked them at home in their oven. The steaks at $75 each should not only taste good, but should look special and appetizing. The au gratin potatoes were good but not served hot. Sat with our winter coats on our seat behind us, no one offered to check our coats. The service was slow and took way to long to get cocktails. We were dressed per the restaurants requirements while sitting next to patrons with their baseball hats turned backwards and work boots.
It was my first time there and I loved it. It was for my birthday and it was very initimate for two. The food was so delicious and worth every penny. Best service !!!!
The best dining experience for both my husband and I. Could not rave more positively about our night. The service was impeccable, our server was knowledgeable beyond belief and the food was to die for. Ended with the most fabulous creme brûlée I have ever tasted. Will 100% be back again.
