Good food but very noisy. Call Armstrong they could help with some stylish acoustical panels that would help with the noise level.
Birthdays for the two of us. Service was prompt and very friendly.
Great as usual!
Great food and service!
Great beer selection and pizza was awesome!
Enjoyable place to gather with friends. Excellent service and food. Free parking in the garage behind the restaurant. This restaurant offers outdoor seating during the summer in the beautifully bricked Steinman Park, complete with waterfall. During the colder months, the setting inside is just as lovely. Clearly one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Lancaster.
Great food with ambience, pre and post theater favorite.
Family came to town
What a great atmosphere and experience for brunch. The food and service were outstanding. Make sure to get the duck fat fries to share! The Pressroom also has an impressive Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar at an extremely reasonable price. That alone will make me a regular.
Fun night with family!
Could not have been better!
This restaurant was re-done a year or so ago and is a great spot to eat and to people-watch, especially if you score one of the tables near the front windows. It's a bit noisy if you're sitting in the interior, which could bother someone with hearing issues.
Our food was very good (shrimp risotto was one dish) and service was great.
If you drive there be sure to park in the Vine St. garage and tell your server so he/she can give you a voucher that makes the parking free.
It was a very pleasant dining experience with good food and wine service.
Bloody Mary bar not with it. Worst bloody Mary's ever and not enough ice although asked for more. Loud and crowded for a Sunday brunch. My egg omelet was room temperature. My husbands chicken and biscuit w/gravy was mostly bread and the chicken was a bit dry.
In the heart of vibrant small city this, this is our favorite downtown dining and/or drinking spot. It's high top tables are great, after work tune-down spots. Its booths are cozy and private. And while fine dining abounds, I'd challenge you to find a better burger and fries anywhere else.
Love the Pressroom. It's comfortable, friendly staff and has a classy / old-school feel though updated. Great beer selection, creative cocktails and great food. Check it out!
Service was outstanding, the food was very good and the setting was very nice for a Valentine's date!!
Impromptu Saturday lunch with family. Felt very comfortable & service was excellent. Food and beverages were delicious and interesting, too!
Very calming environment. Food was great as usual, and our server was very knowledgeable and took care of us very well.
We were seated very very close to other diners - absolutely no privacy
I think if I had requested a booth I would be writing a different review
Food was excellent. The round table with high seat backs created an ideal environment for conversation. Right around the corner from Fulton Theater where we walked to a play afterwards. Convenient!
great server. nice menu selections. would have ordered the seafood special but bought out
Our usual stop before attending a play at the Fulton Theatre. Nice variety of food to fit all tastes and moods. I had the Duck 2-Ways this time which was cooked perfectly and the cherry glaze was excellent. Always a nice, energetic mood in the place.
Great server named Barbara. We’re going to theater , so no delay. She made the experience so nice. Food was great.
Great restaurant, quiet during the week for a date night.
Very busy and rowdy on friday and saturday nights with live music etc
We meet some friends for dinner. Food was tasty. The place has an energy to it; especially the bar area. Service was excellent
Great food and great atmosphere!
We use The Press Box every time we go to Lancaster to the Fulton Theater. Love the place and always have excellent food and friendly, knowledgeable service
Wonderful food, great waiter!
Food & wait staff outstanding. Wait staff was very aware of our time crunch and was accomodating. Very loud, hard to hear even a a four person table.
My daughter and I have made this part of our "Fulton" night. Dining at The Pressroom makes this evening a more special time for us. We know we will enjoy a great meal and a fabulous show.
WOW ! We enjoyed Sunday Brunch at the Pressroom before the show at the Fulton Theatre. Everything exceeded our expectations ! We were greeted by the hostess and shown to a very comfortable booth. Our server introduced herself and took our drink orders after sharing the daily specials. Even though it was very busy, the noise level was medium. The food arrived after a medium wait-time and was delicious. It had been awhile since we'd been at the Pressroom but we will definitely return more frequently after this nice experience.
Great meal and fabulous service. Morgan was a very attentive waiter.
We were going to the Fulton Matinee & were able to enjoy a great lunch in a timely manner w/o feeling rushed. It must have been awhile since I had been there since one of my favorite desserts was no longer available.... but that did not stop us from having desert. Thanks!
Service was slow....pizza was average. Drinks were good.
We went there for Jazz night. It was wonderful. Please keep it going!
I ordered the burger and asked for medium. It was cooked well done. The waiter was wonderful. Very attentive!
I wish there was a way to be able to watch the musicians. They are kind of hidden up front. Otherwise great night was had by all.
Our food was cold and extra salty. Service was very slow and it was very loud. I have been to the restaurant before and enjoyed it but this time it was lacking.
The occasion for this Sunday lunch was to celebrate my mom and my grandmother's birthdays. We were seated on time and promptly had our drink orders taken. We ordered food shortly after and it came within 20 minutes of the order being placed. The downfall of the meal was when a large group of around 10, with 3 young children was sat directly next to us. There wasn't enough space to accommodate their group and they were crowding us out of our space for the remainder of the meal. Conversation became strained because of their loud talking. Some of their group showed up after the initial wave of people because it was a surprise but instead of going to greet them at the door they began shouting as they walked in which was of course disruptive.
Most of the restaurant was unoccupied as we were there within the first open hour on Sunday between 10:30 and 11:30. It seemed unnecessary to seat them in such close proximity to us. The rest of our meal was loud and rushed because it seemed like our sever wanted us to leave to move another table over to be able to seat everyone in their party. We were not even offered a dessert menu or after meal coffee or tea. The food was good but this wasn't quite the experience I was hoping for to celebrate.
