I love this place. I go every time I am in Lancaster!!!
Excellent, had 2 children present and they enjoyed it to.
Great food and wonderful atmosphere right in the heart of Lancaster city!
I had the roasted root vegetables with balsamic reduction and duck fat fries with crazy and duck confit. Both delicious !!!!!
We split apps and they were very good. I had the duck confit and it was very dissapointing. The confit leg itself was very tender and flavourful, however the breast was 5 thin slices, vastly overcooked and void of any resemblance of moisture other that the cherry sauce that drowned everything on the plate. Wilted spinach wrapped butternut or acorn squash...it did not work with the duck.
The Press Room is a local institution that revamped their look, and menu, about two years ago. Worth a visit for the food, drink and service. Always a solid choice.
There was a bone in our Duck Confit
Everything was good. Will be back again. sorry that,s as good as I get
Busy place, it was 1st Friday. I was expecting the food to take some time to come out, but everything came out in a timely fashion. Very good meal
We love The Pressroom. The updated menu has enough variety to make everyone happy. It’s got a great vibe, and the food is spot on. We ate dinner there, 4/6/18, and our server in the bar area was outstanding. And, they make lovely cocktails. One of my fav lunch and dinner spots in Lancaster.
I decided to take an amazing girl on our first date here and I couldn’t have picked a better restaurant. Neither of us has been here before so we didn’t know what to expect, but the food was great, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was calm enough we were there for almost 4 hours.
We searched for a restaurant with safe Gluten Free options. When I called in advance I spoke with Robert who assured me they can accommodate guests with Celiac. My son enjoyed the roasted root vegetables & Steak Frites which was especially a treat since he was able to have the accompanying duck fat fries which were fried in a designated fryer (free from breaded items). Thank you Pressroom, we will certainly be back!!
Went to the Fulton theater.
Wonderful experience, our waitress,Barbara excelled in every aspect, from drink and food selection to portion recommendations. The food was outstanding but she is why we will go back.
Great vegan options.
Delicious food, great waitress who offered to put our doggie bag in frig while we attended show at Fulton
My sister’s birthday.
Always good food and service.
Don't know why it took us so long to try this place! We might have a new Lancaster City restaurant! We got a booth for 4 in the back, away from the noisier bar area. Our server was friendly, and the food was superb.
You can always count on a great meal at The Pressroom. There are many vegetarian options as well as delicious meat dishes. The restaurant locally sources much of its ingredients and the flavor combinations are amazing. The staff members are friendly and provide excellent service. The press building itself is beautifully renovated with original brick walls and blowups of Lancaster newspaper covers. The booths are especially nice for quiet conversation over dinner. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Lancaster.
Very friendly service and outstanding food. We enjoyed the window seat that enabled people watching and picturesque snow observation.
We’re fairly regular Pressroom goers. I love that I know what to expect when I’m ordering, the quality of food is great, and the way the menu changes though the seasons (while having the good old standards) is great. But the reason we keep coming back is how well they take care of us. I had to leave unexpectedly right as our food came out. So our waitress packed our food up quickly, we paid, and the bartender even gave us our drinks to go! (Diet & iced tea). My crab soup was great the next day, and my fiancé’s burger was, as usual, the best in town.
I will never not be a regular.
This is just a favorite. Never ever have a bad time there. Lovely decor. Great menu. Perfect service. They never disappoint. LOVE IT!
We had a casual Sunday evening meal there. They were helpful in finding a quiet suitable table for my husband upon his request. We both had burgers and they were excellent! Our server was great and helpful with our choices. We have been here several times and will most surely return.
Great food and
Good food but very noisy. Call Armstrong they could help with some stylish acoustical panels that would help with the noise level.
Birthdays for the two of us. Service was prompt and very friendly.
Great as usual!
Great food and service!
Great beer selection and pizza was awesome!
Enjoyable place to gather with friends. Excellent service and food. Free parking in the garage behind the restaurant. This restaurant offers outdoor seating during the summer in the beautifully bricked Steinman Park, complete with waterfall. During the colder months, the setting inside is just as lovely. Clearly one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Lancaster.
Great food with ambience, pre and post theater favorite.
Family came to town
What a great atmosphere and experience for brunch. The food and service were outstanding. Make sure to get the duck fat fries to share! The Pressroom also has an impressive Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar at an extremely reasonable price. That alone will make me a regular.
Fun night with family!
Could not have been better!
This restaurant was re-done a year or so ago and is a great spot to eat and to people-watch, especially if you score one of the tables near the front windows. It's a bit noisy if you're sitting in the interior, which could bother someone with hearing issues.
Our food was very good (shrimp risotto was one dish) and service was great.
If you drive there be sure to park in the Vine St. garage and tell your server so he/she can give you a voucher that makes the parking free.
It was a very pleasant dining experience with good food and wine service.
Bloody Mary bar not with it. Worst bloody Mary's ever and not enough ice although asked for more. Loud and crowded for a Sunday brunch. My egg omelet was room temperature. My husbands chicken and biscuit w/gravy was mostly bread and the chicken was a bit dry.
