The steak is simply the best I have ever had and is every time I visit. The service is top notch. I, and my family, have traveled all over, and eaten at many fine restaurants and none of them any better than the Precinct.

Needs an update. Could use some repairs Loose banister up to the second floor dining area. Servers do not need dress coats especially when you allow shorts in the restaurant.

We were celebrating the birthday of a dear friend who passed away 2 months ago. The staff was incredibly sensitive and accommodating to our situation and went above and beyond to make the evening memorable and special for us. We couldn’t have asked for more!

The steak quality reputation is absolutely deserved. Expertly prepared! The other items are nothing special. Baked potato, mushrooms/onions and salmon are all exceedingly salty. The salad is not bad, but remarkable. The bread and butter are good.

Best steaks I've ever had time after time. Please try the Freddy Salad I could eat it every night. The Carrot cake is to die for. Wife loves the chocolate cake.

FANTASTIC! From the minute we stepped inside the host was friendly and it was a great start to the evening. Our server Paul could not have been more pleasant, accommodating, offering just the right amount of attention before, during, and after our meal. The food was delicious.and we appreciated that the salad and a side dish were included with our meal. Shareable sides (Huge) as with other restaurants doesn't always work , especially with 2 people. and just drives the cost up of a nice meal out just to have a vegetable side dish and/or a salad. The atmosphere was very friendly and pleasant. From here on out, the Precinct will be our restaurant of choice within the Ruby group.

Wonderful anniversary dinner date. The food was delicious and our waitress was great. The host stand was not attended when we arrived and when she did arrive she was on the phone for a while dealing with reservations. Highly recommend the butter pie.

The time spent with my family was the best part, also the waiter was kind but professional. He made us feel special as the celebration we were there for. My fish was charred black on the bottom and dry. Some steaks were barely warm. Just not the food that one would expect an almost thousand dollar ticket. Will be a long time re-visiting.

From the very beginning it was outstanding. The meal was cooked perfectly and was delicious t. We had the surf and turf along with a fantastic salad, mashed potatoes and asparagus topped off with wine. We loved the decor and atmosphere but what also stood out was the service. We felt like royalty, like in Downton Abbey. Actually, I was waiting for Carson to show up but Greg took his place giving us fabulous service. Thank you for a most enjoyable meal and time.

Best Jeff Ruby restaurant in the city. If you’ve had bad experiences elsewhere, come to the Precinct. Incredible ambiance, knowledgeable staff, and 10/10 food. Obviously it’s a little pricey, but if it won’t break the bank, it’s worth it.

The steaks are second to none. The service is also second to none. The only issues we had was that the wait staff would hit my chair every time they would service the table behind me. The mashed potatoes tasted instant (but not bad!) and the Mac and cheese was not a'dente. I know picking at this point. It was a lovely dinner and we would definitely go back for the steaks alone.
