   Not sure what it was exactly, but this was not my favorite dinner at the precinct. I love burrata cheese so I ordered the seasonal buratta salad, it was highly recommended by my waiter, but I just did not care for it much. My husband didn’t care for his miso glazed cod, I guess we should just stick to our usual orders. The service and everything else was great, and we absolutely loved the crab bisque.

   Yummy dinner celebrating a new job! Service was timely and attentive. One of our sides came out cold but it was quickly resolved by the manager and brought out piping hot. Would have been good to get the side dish compensated but since it was resolved quickly we did not raise a concern.

   The service was outstanding! Food is pricey. However, we knew that prior to our visit. The steaks were cooked perfectly. My husband ordered a boneless rib steak it as much fattier than usual or expected. Brought half of it home and had to throw it away. My daughter and I had filets that were fabulous! Take the time to look around at the very interesting building. Even has a hidden patio.

   Went to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary, and The Precinct didn’t disappoint. Trey did a fantastic job, as did the runners and other staff. Thank you for making our evening even more special.

   Our dinner was excellent, the service was fantastic! Our only complaint would be the noise from a large group, we could not carry on a conversation so we finished up and left.

    Service was good. Attentive but not obnoxious. The food was well prepared and generally appreciated, but overly (and I like salt) salted. My son complained that the steak a close friend served us recently was better. After a quick condescending laugh I had to agree due to the salt level.

    Always a special thing dining at the precinct. Can’t beat their steaks and always treated well by their staff. 2 or 3 times a year we treat ourselves, never been disappointed.

    for the price this is a once in a lifetime visit. Expect to pay over $150 for a dinner for two. We knew that going in and had a lovely time on our date. But go eyes with your wallet ready to splurge.

    Had a wonderful time, service was great. Our waiter was very personable, told us about the history of The Precinct, which was very interesting. We checked on us frequently and the food was sooo good!! I will definitely come back on a regular.

    Being at an outside table is not for a special occasion. Ordered lobster, but couldn’t get hot butter because the outdoor fan kept snuffing out the sterno candle. Oysters Rockefeller had zero taste of any Pernod. Overrated. Sorry.

    We celebrated our anniversary dinner and assumed the ambience would be in a less crowded space. We ordered steak and salmon. The steak was good and the salmon, garlic and baked potato was nothing spectacular. I ordered a drink & I stumped the bartender. It was the not the correct ingredients. From what I have heard about The Precinct it was not what I expected.

    I tried to submit a review last week, but it wouldn’t go through. In any case, the food was mostly good, with one exception. We’ve been going to Jeff Ruby restaurants for YEARS with some regularity (at least a couple of times/year), and this time, my medium o write filet LOOKED fine, but it was very tough to chew. It was reddish on the inside as always but just not at all tender. I didn’t complain—it was a night to celebrate our twin daughters’ graduation. I was just really surprised. I brought the other half home and the next day confirmed how tough it was. So unusual! Also the server didn’t ask us if we had a Jeff Ruby rewards card, so we forgot as well to use it. Kind of a bummer.

    The experience was amazing as always. Loved the atmosphere and delicious food! My only regret was ordering one king crab leg as an appetizer - that came in on our bill at $100. I guess I should have asked the market price before ordering. It would have been be nice for our waitress to tell me the price when it is that high. I could have subbed a shrimp cocktail (which I also love) and saved $75! I will definitely ask next time.

    This was my first time at the precinct and somewhere my husband and I have wanted to go for a long time. I was very disappointed with my salmon and asparagus. My husband also was disappointed with his steak. The gnocchi was phenomenal. The cost was much too high for the poor quality of the food. It was a one and done experience for us.     we had a fantastic time at the precinct. It was our first time, so we are very glad to have had such an enjoyable experience. We were celebrating Mother’s Day, and we will definitely be back for any other special occasions. The food was amazing. The staff was top notch and it was really just an overall great time.
