Great service and good food, tables were spaced nicely and staff was friendly. They do need better signage outside to find the entrance
Great place. Good food and amazing desserts. Nicely spaced tables and good customer service. Would recommend
The mussels were very good, hate to say something negative but the sodium should be reduced in the broth
The dessert is great but was just alright. Bland. Steak wasn’t great. Salmon was tasteless. Service was fantastic though!
Very good restaurant, can dine in - there is enough space between tables to allow safe dine in.
Food is very good and service was quick and friendly.
The service was great. The food was delicious. I loved that there were vegan options.
Very expensive for quality of food. Hollandaise sauce taste like mayo. Worst I’ve ever had an was cold
Horrible food. The $30 steak tasted like a. Frozen meal with club house gravy. Service was atrocious. We waited and waited to place our order then we did we were not checked on for over 30 minutes. I ordered a dry cab Sauvignon and was served a glass of white wine then when I asked the waitress she brought over a Syrah that was super sweet. I would certainly it return here not recommend it.
The food was good. the mussels and pork chop were very good. I would recommend this place
This place is a hidden gem in the blue mountain area. We’ve been all over the village and had some good and some disappointing meals, but the food here at The Pottery was excellent. Note - I’m not saying this is the best food you’ll ever have or that it’s a 5 star sorta place. I’m just saying that everything about it was excellent. We were in on a Tuesday night and it’s not at all busy, I think they only had 4 tables going so it was quiet. All in all this place punches above its weight for the price and location. We will be coming back.
Best food we had in a while... veggies were cooked to perfection and the meat was juicy and flavourful. I had the same dish two evenings in a row just because the taste was so amazing. Greatly and wholeheartedly recommended
Always a good meal at the Pottery, we return every time we are up at Blue for a family vacation. Menu is great and well priced unlike some of the restaurants in the village which lack quality and price gouge their customers. The Pottery is a great spot for a gourmet meal. Carol was great again as out server. Love the BYOW it's another great option for your guests.
Service, food and setting was great. Good compliance with covid concerns. First time there. Would definitely go again.
I had a very enjoyable time with my family. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive and friendly. I love the space's artwork. I enjoyed the amount of space between tables & other groups of diners though this may have been due to our current pandemic. I'd definitely done there again when in the area.
Food is excellent every time we visit
Nice atmosphere away from the Village
We had a wonderful meal - Great selection and Very Professional Staff.

The Pottery is an underappreciated gem of a restaurant that's hidden in the back of the Blue Mountain Inn. I've eaten there several times with an excellent experience each time. All the food is prepared with care, well seasoned and nicely plated. It seems like the chef and staff take pride in their work. Totally recommend!
The food here is always high quality and unique. We come every time we visit Blue Mountain. Prices are reasonable and staff is always pleasant. The place was not too busy for indoor seating but had outdoor tables as well. Indoor was well spaced out and clean. Always a pleasure to dine here as a family! Thank you.
Beautiful environment, excellent service, quality food, they also have good measures to keep customer safe. A very pleasant lunch experience.
We were a little unsure of The Pottery upon our arrival as the place was completely empty. It was a good thing we stayed. The food was absolutely delicious. We split a Cesar salad and an order of Saganaki for apps. Both were fantastic. My wife had the pork chop as her main, mine was the special - duck l’orange. Both were scrumptious. Service was kind, cordial and quick. Having the restaurant to ourselves turned out to be great, especially during the pandemic. Not a bad thing at all. Best food we’ve had up our whole trip, and the least costly to boot. Will return next time we’re here and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family. Thanks so much!
The whole Blue Mountain Inn looks a bit outdated and perhaps that’s why the atmosphere here was a little lack lustre. We did, however, get an entire area to ourselves and a HUGE table which is always appreciated when travelling with kids toys, books, and other distractions to get through a meal. We had a great server who was very nice to our kids. The food was very very good and came out quickly. All COVID-19 practices followed. I think the only thing that was disappointing was the decor and really you shouldn’t let that that put you off a great and reasonably priced meal.
Great spot @ Blue. Not in the village so it’s a bit less busy than some other options (located at the Blue Mountain Inn). We had a lovely table right beside the fireplace. Friendly staff, and delicious meal. Also, they took extra care to accommodate an allergy, which was greatly appreciated!
Went there for my hubby’s 50th birthday and they decorated the table and prepared a special dessert for him. We really appreciated the friendly service and good food. It’s our favourite restaurant in Blue Mountain!
The service was extremely friendly and prompt. The atmosphere and food were ok but there are better options in the main village. I would bring a larger group (10+) here though just because of the service and proximity to the pub with live music right next door in the building.
We were a bachelorette party of 8, we were seated at a large table off to a private area which we greatly appreciated given we made the reservation last minute. They also decorated the table for us too! Our server was lovely, forget her name but she was Irish. She appeared to be one of the only servers working, she was very busy, but she did the best given the circumstances. It did take way too long to get our bills (20+ minutes, then we found an error) and took an additional 10 minutes to have them corrected.
Finally 2 girls who had the scallops were sick with food poi’s ending a few hours later. Disappointing for a bachelorette weekend.
Food was great. Our server was fantastic, and set us up for a great anniversary date night.
- both our meals were cold and did not taste good
- setting was great
Great service and great food! Would definitely recommend!
I’ve eaten dinner at The Pottery several times when visiting Blue Mountain. The food is surprisingly refined and consistently freshly prepared and flavourful. Prices are fair for a resort setting, and sometimes they have special promos for overnight guests. Highly recommended!
The food was outstanding. Our server, Michelle, was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend.
Great service food was good Only issue Primerib could only be ordered medium or higher No option for rare or medium rare The restaurant was very quiet only 2 other tables They do an awesome breakfast as well Love this place
The bread was delicious but the meals were lacking. Kids burgers were a good size.
The lamb shank was very good. Our server was friendly and fun. If you like dessert, try the baked cheesecake. Yum!
While the food and service was great the ambience needs some work. This is an over-worked ski lodge and needs some serious updating for the restaurant.
Michelle was a very pleasant and professional waitress. We will return for sure.
From the food to the service. Exceptional.
While we enjoyed being seated by the fireplace that was about the only good thing about our experience. Food came out cold (fish tacos) with the tiniest bowl of side soup you’ve ever seen. $17 for 2 small dry tortillas, wilted iceberg, tiny pieces of salmon and salsa (the only decent ingredient) is highway robbery. Plus $3.25 for filter coffee! When their cappuccinos are $4.25, makes no sense. Server was pleasant and friendly. Decor is very dated and worn. Sadly we won’t be back, had hoped to like this place as we live nearby.
It took a long time to get our food. But otherwise good dinner
Staff were amazing and super helpful at accommodating our party. Food was really good and was all good value
The restaurant and meal was fantastic. There was a little mishap and it was dealt with incredibly and i would say it proved even more why its so good.
Waitress was also fabulous. Kids also loved it.
Christmas Eve dinner with the family, everything was perfect!
