Richard has been the custodian of The Potters Arms for over 8 years now, before taking over The Potters Arms his background has been 25 years in the Independent Restaurant trade, working with fresh food, searching and building relationships with the finest suppliers in the area to make sure that the food served from the kitchen is consistently the best it can possibly be.
We have just built a terrace bar which will be open for brunch and crepes, coffees, Ice Cream, Slush Cocktails & Pizzas.

Bill the Head Chef at The Potters has come in and taken over the position and his idea is that The Potters Arms being a Classic British Pub, our Menu should replicate that with lots of homemade pub classics, however with his culinary skills he will introduce a Daily Specials Menu that will be superb quality.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food was very good. We booked to eat in the bar but the helpful bar man said would we like to go into the restaurant as they were getting ready to have music and it was very busy and noisy. We could sit anywhere in the restaurant. Our first time at the potter’s arms and will be back. It’s a shame it’s so far for us as we live in Hughenden.

I specific complaints - the few things were the food wasn’t terribly hot, the toilets very run down and no soap in the hand wash dispenser and it all felt a bit tired and could do with some redecorating, better light etc.

Superb meal, delicious Sunday roast beef dinner and lovely, relaxing environment. The service was also outstanding. My only complaint is the cost of a small glass of Diet Coke at £3.75, which is ridiculous

Perfect food as always, never disappointed with portion size and quality of food, service was a little slow but to be understood on a sunny day and an event such as Fathers Day, roast dinner was massive as always and pudding was great, third or fourth time I’ve had the biscoff vegan cheesecake and I would order again no problem, well done Richard and thanks for a lovely meal yet again

We went for Father’s Day. It was nice that we did not have to choose from a set menu and pay in advance. Food was nice but basic (no frills).

We stayed overnight and enjoyed a pleasant evening meal with the family. The food (mainly Thai) was really delicious, something for everyone of all ages. The room was comfortable and the shower was good if compact. Breakfast was excellent for those who like the cooked variety though a greater continental selection would have been helpful. All in all a really good experience.
