The Pomeroy was quiet when we arrived, as they had only just opened. Within an hour it was busier and hard to hear our conversation.

EDIT: Tommy (the owner) invited us back for a 2nd try at our special occasion, & we were so impressed by his hospitality. The food was excellent, service was wonderful, & Tommy went above & beyond to make our celebration a date to remember. We can’t wait to go back :)

Was there for a special occasion (significant other’s bday, as noted on the reservation), but it was also NYE. There was no acknowledgement of it being a birthday dinner, they ran out of the desserts that we had ordered at the beginning of the meal as part of their NYE prefix, & the food took a really long time. I get that it’s a holiday, but it’s tough having a bday on NYE. I was really hoping Pomeroy would have come through with a better experience, or at least make my S/O feel a little special.

Perfect service and amazing food

Had a nice birthday meal. The waiter was lovely but it was clear that either the floor or the kitchen were understaffed so everything took a long time. The waiter did give us two desserts on the house which we very much appreciated. Good food and we will go back.

I have never had a bad meal here. Food, service, drinks are all excellent and quality. Highly recommend!

Fabulous cocktails and amazing food. I had the salmon with fingerling potatoes & green beans & it was perfect. Will definitely return.

Ventured to Astoria to visit with family and looked up The Pomeroy. I had the fried chicken which was delicious, my cousin had steak and eggs which she devoured. All entrees were served with a drink. I will return at another time for sure.

Great brunch! We got the mac and cheese to split as an app, then we got the huevos rancheros, steak and eggs, shrimp and great (AMAZING), and avocado toast.

Reliable quality food; one of my go-to places for a special occasion meal (in this case, my birthday dinner)

I came to The Pomeroy for my birthday dinner with a small group on a Friday night. I have to say that I was impressed with everything from the food to the staff to the decor. I had the homemade ravioli from their specials menu and it is possibly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The sauce was so fresh and filling. I’ll definitely have to come back for date night.

I’ve always gone to the Pomeroy for dinner and this was my first time trying their brunch. It was really delicious and everything came out in a timely manner. I highly recommend dining at the pomeroy!

We always have a great experience at The Pomeroy. The wait staff goes out of their way to make sure we're enjoying ourselves (without being annoying), and the food never disappoints!

My favorite local spot. Never disappoints!!! Pulled pork tacos, fish tacos and avocado toast just some of my favorites from the menu. Staff is always so friendly and aiming to please. And the drinks are 🙌🏼. Everyone needs to try it for themselves!!

This was our return visit because of a positive first visit. A very welcoming atmosphere - ambiance and gracious owner. The food is delicious and interesting. Great summer drinks. Worth visiting and we are most certainly recommending it to our friends.

The service is excellent! The drink list is very innovative and the food is creative and fresh! I would definitely recommend it to others and go there again.

Came here for a low key brunch and was able to get a drink with any entre - great deal! Our waiter was so friendly and hospitable. Will definitely come back here again.

I wish I could write something nice. I actually enjoyed the food but I left feeling disrespected and unappreciated of my dining there. The waitress was great, but the manager or owner not sure deliberately ignored me and my fiance. He stopped at both tables to my left and right engaged in conversation asking how was the food and service and asking what they ate. Made eye contact with me and fiance numerous times and greeted everyone in the restaurant but us. I felt really racially profiled. I've ate at 5 star restaurants and was treated with way more dignity. I purposely stayed extra time for him to retribute himself and nonetheless he continued to act as we did not exist. I will not return and I'll will make sure I will make sure people know of this. Definitely not happy with my experience not from the waitress but from the person who ran the place

The service was a bit slow but they were very understanding of our tardiness as well. Also, the food was fantastic!

This place is a gem in Astoria. One of my favorite places when I want a quality meal with great drinks & service.

I usually love this place! The food is always fantastic but it took FOREVER for us to get our meal without any acknowledgement from the wait staff or an apology for the wait. Usually, they are better here!
