The four of us enjoyed clam chowder, a chopped salad, roast chicken, cauliflower steak, and short ribs. Also, fabulous cocktails, and two different desserts. Everything was excellent, except for the short ribs, which were dry and needed salt. I suspect that is not usually the case. The space is lovely and interesting. We will be back!

Our first time. It definitely won't be our last. Terrific meal, great ambiance. Great precautions with regards to COVID protocols. Our proof of vaccinations were checked upon arrival. This provided an added measure of comfort.

We highly recommend going there when they reopen for the 2022 season.

Very nice restaurant . Had a wonderful Cod dish. My wife had a very good, not great Lobster Pappardalle. Drinks were great as well as Apps. Will definitely visit again.

Totally delicious and great experience. Our server was super friendly and knew the menu inside and out. Offered up dinner, dessert, and drink suggestions all of which were on pointe. (Get it?) The short rib was insanely delicious, the mac n cheese was awesome, ate every single bite!!!

Espresso martini was killer - I cannot wait to go back!!

Highly recommend The Pointe Restaurant. I was having trouble finding reservations for our Thanksgiving on Cape Cod as all the recommended places were fully booked. I chose The Pointe knowing nothing about it, and even told my family not to expect much. Boy was I wrong! The Pointe Restaurant was - by far - one of our two favorite restaurants this week. It is small and charming with a wonderful ambiance; service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It was a prix fixe menu for Thanksgiving with a Roasted Butternut Bisque soup that was amazing. My daughter tried the Cauliflower Steak. She and her spouse said the chimichurri sauce was the best they’ve ever had – very high praise considering we come from a part of the country known for its South American / Latin American cuisine. The traditional turkey was moist and flavorful, and the sausage/sage dressing was outstanding. I really want the recipe for it! Portions were huge – we couldn’t finish everything as hard as we tried.

While we were there, I overhead that this was the first year The Pointe Restaurant was open for Thanksgiving. That may explain why it was on any of the “recommended for Thanksgiving” lists I consulted. It deserves to be the top choice for anyone’s top choice for Thanksgiving or any time of year when you are on Cape Cod.

Quiet, nice atmosphere on the front porch. Good service and fresh fish unlike some other places who use frozen fish during the season. Parking is across the street so it’s convenient.
Staff was attentive and personable.

Food was good and prices are of what you would expect for the area. Staff was friendly, but service good have been more attentive - pouring water, checking in, etc. Table behind us had a bit too much to drink and were very loud. Staff could have told them to quiet down.

Phenomenal service and excellent food! We were a group of four and really enjoyed the food, wine, and cocktails. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and pleasant, and we are returning for a second dinner tonight! The lobster pappardelle is simple and so perfect that two of us plan to order it again. Big shout out to our awesome server, Julius!

Don't let this average restaurant experience reflect on the Inn. Our experience staying 3 nights at the Inn was excellent. The dinner menu is limited. That's ok. What's not ok is how average our expensive meals tasted. My husband had an almond crusted cod. The stuffing atop it tasted like stove top brand. I had the lobster pasta dish. Both the lobster and pasta were cooked well but was otherwise flavorless. Some fresh herbs, lemon zest, pepper, freshly grated parmesan would have enhanced the dish. Several diners around us had the burger and fries. That choice looked like the better selection. Also, the expensive glass of wine was served too cold.

This was such a fun and relaxed meal with amazing food and service. Our waiter was just so much fun and made our meal extra special. Suggestion: Add beer to the menu, either hard version or the QR Code version. There's enough beers to list rather than have the poor waiter rattle them off and have the patron feel rushed to decide. Otherwise, this was just a great place and we'd come back and recommend to others.

One of our go-to spots for special occasions. Always consistently excellent, but a few misses on this one. Did not get the high-top seating that was requested in reservation. Sitting on the porch was nice until a loud group took over the space. Brussel sprouts, lobster pappardelle, wine and desert all excellent. Short rib special had very dry meat with not enough sauce to make up for the dryness. Luckily, the birthday girl got the excellent lobster dish and enjoyed it very much. The cheery disposition from our server Julius offset the loud group that insisted on being part of everyone's dining experience. Kudos to Julius for handling the situation very well.

Once again visited Crowne Pointe to enjoy an advertised special and like the previous 4 times the server “forgets” to price the meal correctly. Only after pointing out the mistake is the bill fixed.

A year ago my husband and I had one of the most magical meals of our lives at The Pointe Restaurant. It was our wedding night, just us, and everything was perfection. Sadly while our marriage has grown more magical over the last year, our anniversary dinner tonight showed us the opposite has happened at The Pointe Restaurant. We got off to a great start and our host was lovely. We got our same table and a bottle of champagne as requested in our reservation notes, and we were looking forward to the same amazing meal. Unfortunately, service from the kitchen was slow, our starting salad and clam chowder took nearly 45mins to arrive (at different times - the salad came second). The oyster crackers served with the clam chowder were stale and the chowder itself was decidedly average. The salad was fine. Then our entrees arrived and my husband's steak was just barely cooked enough to be considered rare despite medium rare being requested. We asked for a bit more time on the grill and the steak came back a couple minutes later nearly unchanged, but piping hot and on a very hot plate (we couldn't tell if it was maybe microwaved?). The quality overall was worse. It was still rare. Beyond the poor cook, the cut of meat was also less than good, and it was ultimately too underdone and too tough to eat. They did make it right and took it off the bill. My chicken was fine, but not the earth shattering awesome dish I had a year ago. Finally we got cheesecake for dessert, and the final disappointment soon arrived at our table. It was not a house-made cheesecake like it was the previous year. Instead it was a likely frozen pre-made mess. The crust was soggy and pasty, the flavor was overly sweet, and the texture was incredibly dense. All in all the experience couldn't have met our expectations less. Disappointing to say the least, especially from a restaurant we know can do so much better.

The food was outstanding. Great presentation on the plate and the Halibut with risotto with a pea puree and Sea Scallops with asparagus and a blood orange vinaigrette were perfectly paired for an infusion of sweet and slightly bitter that took the scallops up a notch. Great wine selection and the service was attentive and every person we encountered on our way out thanked us for coming in. Highly recommend.

We had a great dining experience. I believe fish the we ordered was previously frozen, an it was an English recipe dinner. Not especially my idea of Provincetown but it good, not worth the money but good. The wine list was great and we ordered 2 different bottles. Our waitstaff even looked up the vintage year, which I follow more closely because old white is not great. All in all very good. I will go again for the picturesque experience, and the wine.

Service was good. Waiter was attentive (yet a bit over familiar by always referring everyone to ‘my friends’ or ‘brothers’). I ordered filet mignon medium and it was slightly undercooked and it was a bit tough (I only order filet mignon because I dislike tough meat). The filet mignon was placed over potatoe purée which was nearly impossible to eat with a fork and a spoon was not provided…one had no choice but to have potato ‘soup’ with your tough filet. No vegetable serving provided with meal (might be ala cart). Had cheesecake for dessert, good but nothing special. Cappuccino not available, only drip coffee (I declined). Martini was standard though blue cheese olives not available). I might return but not in a hurry to.

We have enjoyed our meals and service at The Pointe many times. We have found although they run an early bird 1/2 off entree special they never deduct it from your check. They wait for you to remind them. Seems like they’re hoping you don’t notice or they don’t want to give the deal to people who don’t know about their advertisement.
