Lovely place and light and airy room. Friendly and polite enough staff.
Overall menu/food outside of breakfast, better than that of Lewnnick Lodge (still decent), it saddens me to say.
Service a bit on the slow side. 1 hour before main course arrived, but was worth the wait. Starter portion was tiny though.. just one piece of breaded camembert! So full after main course couldn't eat dessert :)
For the second year in succession though (probably due to covid) my bottle of Erdinger wheat beer was out of date, but tasted okay 👍
Great gluten and dairy free options for my son who has celiacs disease
Lovely setting, good food and great service. Unfortunately the acoustics in the conservatory meant it was noisy. We were just four people on a table but we found it difficult to hear each other speak.
Food was ok. Service was very slow.
Wouldn’t go back .
Our main meal was excellent good value for money. I had veggie curry & my husband had fish & chips. Desert was also extremely nice. It’s not far from us & we have used this place to eat loads of times, even had Xmas party there.
Love the Plume - great service and lovely food. Good atmosphere too even though we ate early
Have been here plenty of times before and loved it. However this visit want great. Our cola and lime and soda was flat and was told it's not flat. The waitress knocked the money off the bill but all we wanted was a fizz to our drinks. When I say it's flat, it's flat. She wouldn't have it and would not change them.
I had soup and and a sandwich the soup was tepid and too thick. I hope this was because of staff shortages and not a view of things for good. I will return and hope things go back to their normal high standard.
Good food , the place is spotless and the staff were very friendly. The beef tacho’s were the best I had out Side Mexico
Amazing food, great service - really enjoyed our evening here
Fantastic meal tonight, first time here but would revisit if in the area again.
Staff very friendly and attentive. Starter of luxury breads delicious, so too we're our mains of mushroom pasta and gammon egg and chips. Too full for dessert unfortunately.
Gluten free fish n chips, fish was lovely but the chips were soggy and greasey, unfortunately, the chef had taken their eyes off the ball! Otherwise everything else about the vist was lovely.
Brilliant food and service. The restaurant is bright and airy and felt very covid safe. I would highly recommend it.
Best burger I’ve ever had! It’s important that food is served piping hot to me and this place does that. The pamesan and truffle “Posh Fries” were amazing! Loved it! We’re on holiday down here but we would definitely recommend and visit again!
Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent wine. As always. What more can I say!
Great decor, service and food. Would recommend. Helpful waitress
We had a super meal. Very impressed with the unusual tasty options. Service was friendly and efficient. Will be going back!
Fab meal for 12, excellent food and charming service.
Good venue, excellent food that was well presented and service very good but not over attentive.
Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Food was excellent, really delicious.
Excellent again, 2nd visit of the holiday. Sunday lunch menu highly recommended. Very attentive service and excellent value.
We've been three times now in two weeks and it's easily our favourite place to eat. We've had breakfast, dinner and Sunday lunch and all have been delicious! I just wish it was closer to home but we'll be back next year.
Excellent service, very friendly and efficient staff. Very good selection of food, and the cost won't empty the bank account.
We had a lovely meal at the Plume of feathers- the food was amazing and the service was outstanding! Would definitely recommend! We’ll be back!
Great as usual been 3 weeks in a row now and food always great and staff very friendly see you next Sunday
Our waitress was new and was a little u sure of herself. Nevertheless she did pretty well. This is the only reason I dropped one star on service. We will definitely be back. Great food great portions great quality and a fair price. Nothing more to say really. Thankyou
Our waitress, Nicole, was exceptional. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble
Good food with a lot of choices will go again. Will recommend.
Lovely food and service. The drinks were overpriced especially lime and soda!
The fans in the conservatory were so loud that conversation was very difficult.
Will come again as it has excellent wheelchair access.
Friendly staff, good food and wine selection
Will definitely go back
Very nice place to dine, good surroundings, good food and good service and always on our tick list of places to eat.
Delicious food, great portions... only criticism was that I wanted more of the yummy sauce on my curry!!
Plume of feathers is a wonderful place to go and get something to eat. We went at lunch and it’s had such a lovely ambiance. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing 🤩 100% recommend. Would definitely go back and try dinner here also.
Yummy food and great service as always
Did not have food, but i have before and its always good.
My wife and I enjoy eating out and the Plume of Feathers is superb in all departments .
Staff are lovely
Restaurant is lovely
Food is lovely
As Arnie would say “ I’ll be back !!!!”
Lovely food great service would definitely go again
Both myself and my wife had a lovely lunch, we were well looked after and the food was excellent. It was a very hot day and the inside table we were given was cool which was a relief. All in all an excellent chilled lunch.
Delicious as always and wonderful service. Indoor eating area was a welcome temperature compared to outside! And not over run with noisy families inside either. We are locals and visit here when we can for lunch or dinner. Always something we like on the menu.
It was lovely to sit in the garden under the shade of the tree. This is our local, so it was great to be able to make a return visit, to meet up with my dear friend for a lovely lunch.
Incredible delicious food in a wonderful setting. Can't wait to revisit.
