Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Definitely recommend and definitely be back soon 😃
Food was OK; price of soda water @ £3 a pint was exorbitant.
Noise from children was an irritant.
Great traditional pub with traditional food offerings, sometimes served with a modern twist. Lovely spacious seating in the conservatory area. Excellent value for money and great service. My husband loves the modern take on ham, egg and chips.
Good food very tasty well good but I was let down by the portion sizes of the main the almost a fish pie was probably smaller than my starter which was annoying service was super slow and people that came in after us and ordered after us got there food and drinks before us those people were clearly staying there but seemed like they got priority which was again annoying
Well presented, calm environment, organised employees, clean, spacious, bright, ample parking, friendly, warming, not rushed, affordable good food.
Lovely pub/ restaurant with great service. I prefer sitting in the pub rather than the conservatory as that’s a bit noisy at times . Great food and good beer.
Had a lovely meal, great service as ever, definitely be back soon
One of our most favouraite places to eat whenever we're in Cornwall. Hoped we'd see Joe Absolom and his family again this time. Sad that we didn't. As usual the welcome and service was great and my meal was excellent. Sadly. my wife's Chicken and Mushroom pie lacked mushrooms and was a disappointment. But, the waitress repported our comment to the chef and we didn't pay for that part of the meal. We will return and look forward to doing so.
All the food was amazing and all the staff were lovely, would highly recommend
Food very good, staff friendly, tables nicely distanced in a naturally-lit conservatory. Hand sanitiser placed near the entrance and in toilets but absence of masks.
Lovely meal on steak night, attentive server & we were able to take our dog. The bar area was lovely and chilled.
We were welcomed and taken to our table. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with menu enquiries. The service was very good and the food hot and with good sized portions. We had a lovely evening.
Food was really good in all respects but the service was only average - it took 3 members of staff to ascertain whether they had any Scotch whiskey!
The atmosphere was somewhat spoilt by a large party of women with 6 babies.
However, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely perfect service and food.
We travel quite far to visit The Plume of Feathers. The food is of very good quality, mouth watering tasty. Service is excellent too and we love the ambience.
Excellent venue, good food and service
Always worth a visit especially out of season 👍
Excellent meal and service. Sat in the conservatory for first time, which is lovely, previous visits we have been in the lounge area which is equally as nice. Definitely will return.
I ordered the beef pie which was fantastic the problem was that was basically it on the plate the pie a little bit of mash some sort of veg that looked like it belonged in a stir fry it needed more, chocolate brownie for desert very small portion still hungry when I left. service was great though.
We have not been to Plume since lockdown eased but from previous experience they have definitely upped their game .
The food was excellent and the service was relaxed and by that I mean there was no urgency .
All in all it was a great meal and I would recommend the Plume for a lovely meal .
After staying at The Plume previously we stopped off for breakfast en route to The Lizard for my husband's birthday. Dominika was the perfect waitress, attentive, polite and efficient. When we came to settle our bill we were told it was not necessary as a good gesture for my husband's birthday. We were completely overwhelmed by such kindness and was a really lovely thing to do. Thank you to Dominika! We will definitely be returning again. Thank you!!
Nice choice of food available, which was delicious, really good service and loved the room will definitely visit again when I am next in Cornwall
Lovely food, lovely place. Charming and friendly staff
Just right as a venue to meet friends for a good lunch
I met three friends for lunch and the venue was perfect. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The decor inside the restaurant has been refreshed and it was very attractive and added to the enjoyable atmosphere.
The food was excellent and the staff extremely attentive and friendly. It was a little noisy as there was a big table in when we were there, but overall a very pleasant evening. Would highly recommend
We only found your place as we needed to charge the car,but so glad we did,the staff are lovely and very welcoming, and I can honestly say we had thd best mussels, the sauce was amazing ,will definitely go again
Lovely venue, enjoyed a lovely brunch of Eggs Benedict
Repeat visit. Good quality food friendly staff. Good to be able to bring the dog
Lovely building, well kept, great atmosphere, relaxing and service was excellent and so was the food. No complaints. Will come again.
My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here with our family it was just fantastic thank you all
The food was average and hugely over priced. The table service was good but the noise was terrible..we could not hear each other speak. Unfortunately we will not be returning
Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and friendly service!
Lovely food as always look forward to returning soon
Our dining experience at the Plume of Feathers was the same as usual .
EXCELLENT EVERYTHING .
We will be back ASAP .
Excellent as always. Great food, very good service.
Love the food and ambience here. Means old friend and I can have a really good catch up.
We went for midweek lunch. Lovely atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food and wine.
Great place for a special occasion or just a nice chilled catch up with friends.
