Excellent in every way
Great food. Great service. Worth the drive. Thank you.
Wonderful ambiance, quiet where you can talk at the table. Great attentive service. Good food and presented well.
Excellent cocktails & amazing food! My favorite for every occasion.
As always, great food and excellent service. Highly recommend!
Wine selections and the resident wine guru are terrific. Make sure to have Chris assist in the wine selections
they ran out of mrnu items and we were ordering at 6 pm
Very few gluten-free options, and when asked if we could have almond milk in coffee, the answer was that the only option was skimmed milk. The salad was nice and fresh.
Favorite Restaraunt. The quality of food is consistent and the waiting staff/desk staff are always very friendly and professional.
Wonderful birthday dinner for my husband with his niece andnephew
Not a create selection for lunch. Also stopped offering their pre fixe lunch menu.
Food was good, a couple of minor serving errors, including another table's bill that was charged before corrected. Drinks were slow coming. Food was great, but more than a tablespoon of mashed with my chicken, and more gravy would have really hit the spot. The Griggstown Chicken was very good though. They try a little too hard to be fussy, and the portion sizes definitely suffered. Salmon was tiny, chicken needed heaping sides, the fish & chips orbited the dining room several times before our table received it. The bar closed at 10:30 and they were cleaning it, so no after dinner drink. 10:30 on a Saturday night is unreasonable in this area. Quite nice inside, love the colonial theme, and the help tried their best I think. But like most restaurants, it just falls short of high praise. Few places deliver the goods, and this didn't either. Would probably recommend as a good lunch spot.
Lunch was warm and friendly.
Wonderful clams and tuna tartar
Had a great lunch. Was able to host a business client and trust our conversation was private. Well paced meal.. great service and fantastic meal!
All good ... eating at the bar is so much better than the restaurant
Delicious food, beautiful ambiance, excellent service as always!
Very attentive service and excellent food! Top wines at great prices on Friday's.
Great food. Great staff. Great ambience. Always consistent.
Great food and atmosphere. Extensive wine menu and dessert was best in class
Went there for lunch and ordered a hamburger. It was OK - nothing special. Expected better quality!
Fantastic! Awesome atmosphere & service, not a big menu but what is available is very good
All of the food from the appetizer to the main course was delicious, including the Yellowfin Tuna I had as my main course. It was only my second time there, but first time in the main dining area and our entire party enjoyed their meals and service. They also were able to accommodate my gluten free needs and said they could prepare almost any dish gluten free if needed.
It was a delicious and wonderful birthday dinner!!!
My husband and I had dinner here this past week with my mother in law and everything was wonderful as usual! The most important thing was that my mother-in-law didn't have one negative thing to say about Pluckemin Inn. All of our entrees was perfectly cooked and service were very attentive. We sat in the dining room which was elegant, quiet and there's a couple of fireplaces which was very romantic. My husband and I been here a few times over the years and we haven't been disappointed.
It was the first time taking my mom and friends to Pluckemin Inn, and they love it! The food was really great, and they accommodated my mom's gluten allergy. It was wonderful!
Excellent food and good service without being obtrusive. Quiet enough for clearly heard, private conversation.
A night out with my daughter and very worth it. Everything was delicious and the service was great too. Definitely will be going back👌🏻🙂
Nice restaurant, fireplace ambiance was nice. Food was average. Service was good.
Food was just OK. Server lacked personality. Despite the Hostess acknowledging (at check-in) my reservation included a birthday, the Server did nothing special for it and simply presented the bill at the end of the meal.
Such a great place with stellar food, atmosphere and service!!
Elegant setting and well prepared dishes help make the Pluckemin Inn a great place for a relaxing meal. Will continue to come back for more.
Winter menu seemed uninspired relative to fall menu. Dinner was mixed. Some items were the typical superb. Others were flat and so-so. It was a Friday night so should have been prime time.
As always, everything was perfect!
Always wonderful food and service. Never rushed, always
I took a client here for lunch. Very good food and it was quiet/private enough for us to talk business. We were not rushed at all.
A delightful evening, great service, very good food.
Unfortunately, the seating by the window is uncomfortably chilly.
Despite the very good food, at this price range, the menu is rather limited , and the offering of a NY cut and a KC strip seems a little duplicative. I suggest drop the NY and add a 6 oz Filet. Another way to enlarge the menu without actually adding to the printed list is to offer a larger variety of specials
As usual the service was outstanding and the food was excellent. The ambiance is cozy, comfortable and inviting. The food is of course the star here and was really good and eclectic to some extent. The wine list is really good, and there are a number of great choices for someone wanting only a glass. Their wine rack/fridge is on display and very impressive. Highly recommended.
My wife and I thought that the food slipped slightly from our last visit but it was still very good. Not sure what prompted the switch to a single menu but itfelt like there were fewer choices in the restaurant and more choices in the tavern. The special apple strudel was phenomenal.
Still on our list of go to restaurants, remains a favorite.
the menu is now a la carte entrees with a bar menu feel. this place used to be special. now i pick my sides. isn’t that what a chef is supposed to do?
Business lunch. Friendly accommodating staff. Quiet dining room. Delicious food. A bit on the expensive side but worth it for special occasion.
