The Plimoth in City Park is Denver's best date night restaurant.
Excellent! First time here and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the staff was great. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Had a great time. Food was phenomenal. We will be coming back.
Always a joy to be in this beautiful space. Food is great and service is impeccable.
Food is always amazing and staff always very attentive and professional.
Love this place!
It was perfect in every way!
Food and Service are great! Won't go wrong taking a date here.
Great service (thanks Alise!), sublime food, and a cocktail and wine list worth many more trips for exploration. It had us both asking a thousand questions and learning something new. Overall, a fantastic experience.
Once again the food, service, and atmosphere at Plimoth was outstanding, quickly becoming my favorite spot in Denver.
We have dined at Plimoth several times and have never been disappointed. Great food, great wait staff and simply a wonderful restaurant.
Delicious per usual, 7th time and haven't had an issue.
Wasn't a huge fan of the main entree list this time around. Usually I want to order one of everything offered. Hope they change it soon as we have 2 more rounds of friends to introduce to the restaurant and would prefer the main entree list to be much more inviting. Chicken dish was just chicken legs-really? Shrimp & scallops were ok, but the size of entree was way too small for hungry men. Duck leg dish was boring. And the short ribs left a lot to be desired.
We took my folks here when they were in town this past weekend and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. I'd read great reviews about this restaurant being a neighborhood gem (which are my favorite types of restaurants) and was intrigued.
Adam from the Plimoth called day-of to confirm our reservation and inquire about any food allergies which I thought was a nice touch. I always add a note to my reservations requesting a quieter table since I wear hearing aides which is hit or miss (some restaurants just don't have quieter tables) but they fulfilled this request which I am always most appreciative of. The noise-level was very comfortable throughout our meal and I didn't feel like other areas were much louder.
On to the food...it was ALL so delicious. Since we wanted to try everything, we ordered several of the starters including the Mizugula Salad, Cauliflower Turnip Gratinée, Chicken liver pâté and the Country Style Pork Rillette. Everything was incredible, particularly the chicken liver pate (there are a lot of pates I don't love, but this was incredible). Since we were all pretty full after these, we split the Crispy Confit Duck Leg which again, was delicious! As we were eating it, we were talking about how we did not grow up eating duck, my folks have pretty funny stories about not-so-great experiences with duck but this dish was a game changer. The duck was perfectly cooked and tender and paired perfectly with the heirloom bean ragout and red onion orange jam.
To finish this incredible meal, we shared the butter pecan gelato and each ordered a tawny port (our favorite after-dinner drink).
The staff were incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we stepped inside to moment we left. I would highly recommend the Plimoth to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience.
It was nice. The menu (both food and drink) were original.
Food was delicious! Elise was very attentive, friendly and her wine suggestions were great. Really enjoyed her. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
We have eaten here several times and always had excellent food and service.
Innovative offerings and great beer and wine selection.
Staff is always so thoughtful and warm. Very accommodating of food restrictions too. Menu is ever-changing and always delicious. Their homemade desserts are especially fabulous. Wait staff are some of the best in the biz-it’s like being in Europe where the waiters are professional waiters and can answer any possible question you have.
Anniversary. It was awesome.
My husband and I have had a hard time finding a restaurant that has amazing food without the pretentious attitude, and we were pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was incredible, the wait staff were friendly, and the environment was inviting. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal.
Our waitress was great and the food was absolutely amazing.
Love this place. First time since their expansion and was as great as ever. Sat at our usual table, which was conveniently waiting for us. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic wait person. Perfectly created offerings. Pacing was spot on.
Will definitely be going back when back in Denver this summer.
Another fantastic meal at The Plimoth! The kale salad and shrimp bisque were awesome starters, and I loved my scallop and mussels entree. Decadent pot de creme dessert was the perfect finish. Great wine pairing and we always enjoy being seated with Mitch.
Wonderful, excellent food.
The new space is awesome--doubled the table space.
First time visit, but it will not be the last and I will recommend to others visiting Denver. It was a snowy Tuesday night but there was still a good crowd although Mel my wonderful bartender and server said that it was usually much busier.
The chicken liver pate was light, fluffy and delicious and the golden raisin/onion/seasonal fruit marmalade was a wonderful counter point.
My Duck Confit main was crisp and a perfect golden brown on the outside and fall off the bone tender and juicy inside. It was served with a great bean stew and a few other items. Personally I would have left one or two of them off, but simply because I prefer a max of 5 different flavors in a dish. More than that seems to busy to me, but that's a very minor quibble and you may feel differently.
All the staff were gracious, cheerful and very professional and kudos to the cook for wonderful seasonal cooking. I really should have asked for the recipe for that marmalade - it was kicking. Highly recommend this place.
Great, seasonal food! Wonderful service! Nice wine list! Will definitely come back!
It was my birthday. Loved that I had a glass of bubbly on the house when we sat down. Service was slow, but very engaged when at our table. Food yummy
Great service, great food! All items ordered were very tasty. Saturday night crowd was a bit loud.
Good food, good service, and good fun. Highly recommend for dates and anniversaries!
This was a perfect "off the main drag" away from the "run of the mill" type of place. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful in making recommendations for the menu and wine list, cocktails too! Fantastic food and no worries about it not being hot, had to wait for mine to cool down enough to enjoy it.
My wife and I had a fabulous dinner! Elise and the entire staff were incredibly warm and provided wonderful recommendations. The kale salad and pork rillette starters were fabulous, and our main dishes of romanesco pilaf and brisket were as well. A lovely and very comfortable neighborhood feel. Highly recommend The Plimoth! Thank you the special dining experience.
My wife and I went for her birthday and everything was wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was terrific. It’s our new favorite restaurant in Denver!
We love this restaurant! The food is outstanding, the staff fantastic and the atmosphere sophisticated and romantic.
It is our favorite place to go for a special dinner!
Impeccable service matches the magnificent food. The Plimoth is my favorite restaurant in Denver and such a special place. Do not miss out on a special dining experience !
Such friendly service and delicious food to boot! Excellent hospitality.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. I love this place for a group and for a date. They even have options for young kids
I recently (02/10/18) had dinner at the Plimoth and cannot say enough good things about my experience. The staff was friendly and professionally making sure we were given a comfortable table for two. Our server was enthusiastic and seemed genuinely pleased to give recommendations about both the food and wine. The atmosphere was energetic without being too loud and the food was simply wonderful. I would definitely recommend the Plimoth and look forward to returning some day!
The food and service were amazing. I wish I could eat here every week!
I was in town on business and know the chef from past ventures, as well as from Massachusetts. I decided to take my business dinner to the Plimouth. Good decision. Food was fantastic and drinks were superb. I would suggest the place for any occasion. Worth the trek from the hotels and conference center. Looking forward to my next trip to Denver.
Great food & great service. The Plimoth is a must dining experience for food lovers.
