What Insiders Are Saying
The Plimoth in City Park is Denver's best date night restaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Plimoth.
The waitress, Katie, was excellent, and the food was delicious.
However we found that the noise level was very high where we ate inside.
Complimentary champagne to celebrate started us off and it Just got better.
This charming neighborhood restaurant absolutely delivers. The menu is competitively-priced with others who also boast a fine dining standard of ingredients and presentation. The food execution was on-point, and all the flavors were well-balanced and unique, yet approachable. There were no complaints on service or bar menu, though I offer the service staff could use a little polish and deeper education in "back of the house" credo. Was a great place to eat as well as not too noisy to have a conversation with an old friend. Would return!
The date cake was A-mazing! If you go to The Plimoth definitely order the date cake for dessert, yum!
Loved, loved, loved this restaurant. It's tucked away on the corner in the Skyland neighborhood and has a relaxed, inviting feel with a fantastic seasonal menu. The food was amazing. I'm looking forward to going back again.
Consistently delicious, innovative and fresh. Love the vibe and the service is outstanding. The cocktails are also super tasty if you just want to stop by for a drink and a quick bite at the bar
Excellent food, service and portions
It was incredibly considerate of the Plimoth to attend to my needs as a vegan, and also a real treat that they served us all a round of bubbly to celebrate! I appreciate that they called in advance and asked about dietary needs!
Sat outside, patio needs some charming up. Starter was fresh and delicious. Main was FAB. Not interested in dessert. Too many ingredients and felt contrived. Why not a strawberry/ rhubarb tart? Chocalate layered cake with chocalate buttercream icing? You say , too plain! It is a rarity to find stellar, "stand alone", pastries. If the pastry chef is truly talented, uses the best ingredients ,there is no need to try and out smart the customer!!! It just doesn't work!
Amazing food, great atmosphere, lovely service. New favorite place for fresh and delicious food. Bartender also makes excellent drinks.
One of the best restaurants in all of Denver. The food & service is excellent.
I can always count on a great experience at Plimoth! I always bring out of town guests here.
Ate their twice in one week. Food was exceptionally good; perfectly cooked, amazing taste and well served. Service was outstanding (Nora assisted us both times). We gave eaten in many great restaurants globally and this ranks in our top 5. Highly recommend it!
Food was good. Wait staff was awesome. Kitchen timing was sub par. Very rich and fatty, starters were not great but entrees were cream of the crop.
Never disappointed with the Plimoth. The menu evolves continuously, the quality is always excellent. Tried a newer (to me) dish, the smoked ribs + pork belly, and was very pleased. Service is top-notch and friendly. Great buzz and vibe, especially as the restaurant started filling up. Wonderful local joint.
I have not been to the Plimoth for a while. But I believe the restaurant is “off its game.” In the past I have found the food, especially the entrées, to be very imaginative. I am not sure what the problem is; however, this is my perception. Certainly the restaurant was filled with patrons. Nevertheless, I found the entrées to be unimaginative in design and also mediocre in preparation. And, an accompanying family member also thought the portions to be very undersized for the pricing.
Our dinner last night was nothing less than amazing! The Sausage and baked beans starter smelled and tasted like summer! We shared the greens and seeds salad and the flat bread with a fresh tzatziki - perfection! We enjoyed the crackling chicken and the smoked ribs. Another fantastic experience! We'll be back.
Food was ok. Steak was salty. Appetizer and dessert was good. Server was overwhelmed when we arrived. Took over 20 minutes for drinks to arrive. Expected more from the food but the ambiance was nice
The Plimoth never disappoints. Definitely a top restaurant in Denver with the best staff!!
stupendous as usual! My one complaint (which does not affect star rating) is that my gin martini was not to my liking. However, everything else this restaurant does (including the bar) is just too good to pass up!
Cuisine was as expected having dined there on several occasions- exceptional.
We were dining at The Plimoth to celebrate our sons graduation from CSU. Our server was also a CSU graduate. Thank you for the warm service and the sparkling wine toast, it enhanced our visit. The Plimoth has become our go-to restaurant when our family wants to dine out. Your service on Monday ensured we will continue to dine with you whenever we can. Thank you!

Anniversary dinner. Portions were generous and quality was very high. Drinks were spendy $19 Hendricks Martini? Other than that it was amazing!
Great meal all around from cocktails to dessert. Relaxed setting. Attentive wait staff. Highly recommend this place!
Our dinners were excellent. The menu is different each time we visit and every meal we have has been wonderful. The wine pairing recommendations are very good. The service is among the best at any restaurant we have visited.
We enjoyed our dinner. Super great waitress!
We had an awesome experience. We booked a table at 5pm for the same evenung and they treated us like we were old friends. Impeccable service (thanks Mike!), great food, and the perfect ambiance.
Awesome service, great cocktail menu, nice use of seasonal ingredients, and the food is amazing! It is a little pricey but overall worth it. We'll definitely be back!
The chicken was the best!!!! Great service and excellent location if you are going to Museum of Nature and Science or others in the area.
We were more than delighted by the incredibly friendly staff who really set a high bar for the kind of service and interaction one truly wishes to see in a restaurant. They were as enjoyable as the food, which was superb. Can't say enough positive things about Plimoth.
We loved our experience at Plimoth! They did an incredible job at taking care of us, especially when I shared that I was gluten free! They made sure to give me my own menu that had what I could eat highlighted. Way to make a girl feel special!
Nice anniversary dinner. Since we were driving we had wine by the glass, always risky but the Malbec was very good. I had the fluke and my wife the rabbit, both are recommendable.
Service was superb! Dishes were delicious but a little on a pricey side, especially given the location of the restaurant. Their wine selection was quite impressive for such a small restaurant. I gravitate towards old world wines and they had some great choices of French and Italian wines. They also change their wines by the glass regularly including high end and rare wines.
I’ll definitely be returning. This my new date night spot.
The food is absolutely delicious. Fresh and incredible ingredients. Its a super cute neighborhood gem with a full bar and great wines. It's a casual spot, not inexpensive, but totally worth the money.
The food was excellent!!! All else great, too. Hadn’t been for a while and will now make it a regular.
Very disappointed in limited menu and prices. Our appetizer was great...our main dish...fair.
Food is excellent. Service mostly great, but wait for water and drinks was way too long
It's been around for 6 years..and it was our first time..Looking forward to our next meal there.....great menu...awesome food..and flavors...superb service..A neighborhood staple..
Always one of the best, most understated restaurant experiences in Denver.
