It had been several years since I first dined at The Plimoth so it was good to get back to see if they were still doing everything which made them great back then. Turns out they are! They've even perhaps improved. All dishes were well composed and well balanced yet interesting and different than what you find elsewhere. It's a great gem in the Denver food scene which will hopefully remain so for years to come.
Great food and service. Enjoyed our evening out. The Aviation cocktail was great. The chicken and pork shoulder was fantastic.
This is one of the most inventive chefs in the area, resulting in exceptional flavor in the seemingly most mundane dish like salad. In addition, the kitchen is helpful on substitutions should there be food allergies. And the service, while casual, is very attentive and pleasant.
This ia great place, however their service has not been great the last two times. . Made a resv, called to request patio and was total a note would be added to our resv-- when we got there a table was about to open outside-- however another YOUNGER couple, without a resv walked in and given that table. We then had to wait about 20 min.-- they suggested we wait outside on a bench near the street.
It was obvious we were not happy, yet we were ignored, Ageism? Food good- need to also have good service, customer care.
Fantastic dinner. Incredible service. Always a great laid back vibe. The menu is in line with what’s in season. LOVED the salmon appetizer!
We have never been disappointed at The Plimoth but yesterday topped all prior experiences.
The food was so amazing we both have to come back tonight already
Sitting outside was perfect. No significant noise (inside dining can make table-wide talk a bit challenging). Service was amazing, as always. Chicken and quail dishes were superb. And every appetizer we tried excelled. Plimouth most certainly has not lost its magic!!!
Great experience with well thought out dishes and timely/attentive service. We went to celebrate my partner's new job and had a fantastic dinner/evening.
Everything about our experience was perfect. We sat out on the patio on a late summer evening. The menu was diverse and appealing but not over-whelming. Every staff member that we dealt with was friendly, efficient and engaging. My family members that live in Denver and have sampled a lot of the restaurants were very impressed and will definitely be returning. For our family, a quiet ambiance is important for conversation. I highly recommend the patio for this. Not sure what it was like inside.
Only open table available was the bar. The bartender was slammed.. he was getting help for the other diners, but we had to ask for water multiple times.. had to ask to order from random waitress or hostess that walked past. Had to ask for another beer from another random person that walked by. Food was ok.. not as awesome as I was hoping, but when the service was as erratic as it was.. I’m glad we even got food.
The plimoth is, by far, our favorite restaurant in Denver. We have been here more times than we can count and have never had a less-than-stellar experience. Thank you!
Overall a good experience.
Always excellent! We sat outside enjoying a quiet, summer evening. Service was top notch as always. The menu changes often and the menu items showcase what's in season...salmon, tomatoes, fresh herbs. The crackling chicken is a favorite and my husband enjoyed a grilled steak. Until next time!
Great food , drinks and service. Will definitely be back.
First time here. Our party of four enjoyed the salmon tartar and cornbread. Steak and chicken entrees were very good. The service was amazing. We will be back.
Service was amazing; our server, Katie, was fantastic. The food was a wonderful blend of elevated homey and rustic. Wine was great!
Birthday celebration out of the patio on a perfect summer night!
We had a wonderful dinner on a Saturday evening. Love the neighborhood feel to the place. The service was friendly and helpful and responsive. The food was outstanding - inventive and delightful. The wine list is sophisticated with good options by the glass. I appreciated the care taken to accommodate my gluten free requirements. We liked everything about the place. Denver neighborhood dining at its best.
Always a wonderful experience at Plimoth.
Spectacular dining and service with anbei that makes you want to try it all! I don’t write reviews often but highly recommend this place. We will come back. Soon and often!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was great. We went early (6:00 pm on a Friday) and even though we had a reservation there were plenty of available tables to choose from. Restaurant was nearly full by the time we left. The food was cooked perfectly and our server was great. The menu is creative and ingredients fresh and healthy. One of our diners had a severe gluten allergy and they made sure she had a perfect, gluten-free meal. The ambiance was classy but casual. Highly recommend for a special meal/date. Plan on spending around $100 per person (including tax & tip) if you order cocktail, wine, appetizer, and entree. Pricey, but worth it.
Amazing fresh seasonal ingredients. Great wine. Lovely patio. Ordered the cornbread and heirloom tomatoes twice!
As always the food was the start of this restaurant. The service is great. The only downside was that I ordered a patio table and when I arrived they didn’t have any for a 30 minutes. We ended inside on the adding area and the noise is very high. But again the food made it worth the experience.
Really disappointing. Extremely expensive - and nothing special or memorable in the least. First courses were, on average $12 and up, and second courses were $32 and up, making for a $160 meal with one glass of wine each and no dessert. I expect EXCELLENCE for this price. Nothing about the meal was memorable. We selected plimoth because it described itself as NOT being stuffy or pretentious - but in fact, the menu seemed to be exactly that. The environment inside is nice - but this is not a neighborhood you want to walk around in.
Great as always
Great quality food and the ambience was wonderful.
Everything here is amazing. A must try if you're in Denver. Fantastic service, food and drink year round.
Great services, perfectly cooked food, good portions for value.
Excellent as always
Best restaurant ever. We've been coming here since they opened and every meal and experience has been flawless.
We love the plimoth...food, staff, prices are all exceptional! We go at least seasonally to enjoy the rotating menu of locally-sourced ingredients. It's good enough that we could eat there at least weekly!
Fantastic service with a knowledgeable staff and great food
Friendly, attentive service of seasonal dishes you won't often find elsewhere that entertain your palate with creative combinations of fresh ingredients. We usually order a full bottle of wine to get better quality but felt like just a glass and there were no compromises in what they poured. A neighborhood gem.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. It never disappoints.
What a lovely night we had on the patio at the Plimoth celebrating my mans birthday. Mika was so personable and gave excellent recommendations. The big ol piece of pork is all that! Delicious, as was the salmon. Nice wine recommendations as well. Such a wonderful find in the hood!
I had a great time. The food was amazing, service is excellent. a little pricey. but everything is
One of the best restaurants in Denver.
It was great. Not very many choices for main course otherwise very good
The food was delicious but we waited 45 minutes for it to arrive after ordering. Which meant we received our food a full hour after sitting down. No apologies, no comps, not even a piece of bread. It was a bit ridiculous.
