What a wonderful dinner at The Plimoth for 5 friends having a getaway weekend. One of our party has several food sensitivities, but our waiter was kind, considerate and very knowledgeable and took the time to explain many dishes to her. The rest of us shared a bottle of excellent Lebanese wine, and our dinner was outstanding. Especially the gnocchi appetizer which was so flavorful.
I wish we had a “Plimoth “ in each of our home cities.
Really a wonderful experience! Thank you!
Lovely seasonal food with excellent service. Don’t miss this hidden gem!
Plimoth has a really unusual menu, the waitstaff was knowledgeable and the food was excellent. Our time was limited because we had theatre tickets and they we really appreciated their responsiveness!
LOVED the Plimoth! We will most certainly go back. Fantastic meal and service! Can't say enough about this place!
It was a lovely snowy evening and a great dinner! Thanks.
We had a 7;45 p.m. reservation. We were seated at 8:30. The staff was sympathetic and provided us with 2 glasses of bubbly and a smidgen of the house soup. The ambiance, flavors and wait person were wonderful. The wait was not. Either Plimoth should space out reservations or let people know that, notwithstanding a reservation, they may have to wait 45 minutes.
Service was great! We were sitting at a two person table and felt overly close to the table next to us but other than that I would highly recommend it.
Our dinner was outstanding. The autumn toast and the duck magrette were just delightful ! As the server said, they were "fall on a plate!" My husband had the cracklin' chicken and butternut gnocci, which were also wonderful. We will definitely return on a special occasion!
On point service, very good food (my roasted chicken dinner was sweet perfection), and an outstanding bar/cocktails/wine (their wine list is impressive) makes this a perfect spot for dinner. We can’t wait to dine there again soon! Highly recommended.
Very accommodating for our group of 6 when we had to change the reservation time. Really enjoyed the food and service! Thank you.
Great, imaginative menu. Excellent service from Mitch. We will be back!
Amazing meal!! Wonderful food and atmosphere!
The Plimoth has long been a go-to restaurant for celebrating special events. The bartenders make great cocktails, and the butternut squash gnocchi appetizer was scrumptious. The crackling chicken cacciatore was delicious and tuna steak was perfect. Main courses are not skimpy, either. A creamy milk chocolate gelato was a nice finishing touch.
Amazing service, ambiance, and food! I definitely recommend this experience.
We had a fantastic time and the food was fabulous! Thank you so much!
What a wonderful dining experience. The staff and food were both exceptional!
Great birthday experience
As usual the food was amazing. The duck and pork shoulder were both amazing and the Pot de creme was delicious. Also the wine suggestion was perfect.
The food was outstanding. My entree of tuna on a bed of baba ganoush, with roasted red peppers and onion was one of the best dishes I have had in quite some time. Service at times was very slow. When the restaurant is full, it is quite loud.
The experience would have been fine except that the waitress was very sub par. In fact, we really had no idea who our waitress was for a really long time - at least 30 minutes. I stopped another waiter to ask who our waiter was. Once we found out, she was cold and very brief with every interaction. If this restaurant is going to survive in this weird location they better step it up with the wait staff, etc. I won't be going back nor recommending it to friends.
Fabulous experience all around. Tuna was cooked to perfection and served on delicious babaganoush. Server was delightful and accommodating to our gluten sensitivities.
A great evening - wonderful setting, great service, wonderful, wonderful meal.
Total surprise. One of the best meals we have had anywhere in Denver.
Fantastic food. Three of us sat at the bar with the hilarious bartender pouring drinks and cracking wise. We kind of went for it and ordered all the starters, which were fantastic. The star for me was a clever romesco under the heirloom tomatoes but it seems unfair to pick just one thing. I had the pork collar which was roast to a level of awesomeness I’ve rarely seen. The chef Paul is a clever dude doing great thing with fresh local ingredients. His sauerkraut, which is amazing, is not to be missed. Try the house made lemoncello
One of our favorite restaurants in all of Colorado!! Highly recommended in every way. Worth the price.
It had been several years since I first dined at The Plimoth so it was good to get back to see if they were still doing everything which made them great back then. Turns out they are! They've even perhaps improved. All dishes were well composed and well balanced yet interesting and different than what you find elsewhere. It's a great gem in the Denver food scene which will hopefully remain so for years to come.
Great food and service. Enjoyed our evening out. The Aviation cocktail was great. The chicken and pork shoulder was fantastic.
This is one of the most inventive chefs in the area, resulting in exceptional flavor in the seemingly most mundane dish like salad. In addition, the kitchen is helpful on substitutions should there be food allergies. And the service, while casual, is very attentive and pleasant.
This ia great place, however their service has not been great the last two times. . Made a resv, called to request patio and was total a note would be added to our resv-- when we got there a table was about to open outside-- however another YOUNGER couple, without a resv walked in and given that table. We then had to wait about 20 min.-- they suggested we wait outside on a bench near the street.
It was obvious we were not happy, yet we were ignored, Ageism? Food good- need to also have good service, customer care.
Fantastic dinner. Incredible service. Always a great laid back vibe. The menu is in line with what’s in season. LOVED the salmon appetizer!
We have never been disappointed at The Plimoth but yesterday topped all prior experiences.
The food was so amazing we both have to come back tonight already
Sitting outside was perfect. No significant noise (inside dining can make table-wide talk a bit challenging). Service was amazing, as always. Chicken and quail dishes were superb. And every appetizer we tried excelled. Plimouth most certainly has not lost its magic!!!
Great experience with well thought out dishes and timely/attentive service. We went to celebrate my partner's new job and had a fantastic dinner/evening.
Everything about our experience was perfect. We sat out on the patio on a late summer evening. The menu was diverse and appealing but not over-whelming. Every staff member that we dealt with was friendly, efficient and engaging. My family members that live in Denver and have sampled a lot of the restaurants were very impressed and will definitely be returning. For our family, a quiet ambiance is important for conversation. I highly recommend the patio for this. Not sure what it was like inside.
Only open table available was the bar. The bartender was slammed.. he was getting help for the other diners, but we had to ask for water multiple times.. had to ask to order from random waitress or hostess that walked past. Had to ask for another beer from another random person that walked by. Food was ok.. not as awesome as I was hoping, but when the service was as erratic as it was.. I’m glad we even got food.
Overall a good experience.
The plimoth is, by far, our favorite restaurant in Denver. We have been here more times than we can count and have never had a less-than-stellar experience. Thank you!
One if my absolute favorite restaurants in Denver!
Always excellent! We sat outside enjoying a quiet, summer evening. Service was top notch as always. The menu changes often and the menu items showcase what's in season...salmon, tomatoes, fresh herbs. The crackling chicken is a favorite and my husband enjoyed a grilled steak. Until next time!
Great food , drinks and service. Will definitely be back.
