Looking forward to dining there a lot once you reopen. Hang in there. You are one of the best restaurants here in Denver.
Some of the best food and drinks I've ever had. Everything was perfect.
Dinner was delicious and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We're looking forward to the spring menu.
Plimoth never disappoints. The wait staff are incredibly knowledgable about the menu, and, when in doubt, offer the best recommendations for what to select. Cocktails are always spot on. A great place for a date, or to take a client.
Very friendly service, great cocktails, wonderful food.
Sat at the bar. Every time i have been there whether at the bar or table the service is amazing.
Tonight the appetizers and dessert were fabulous. The main vegetarian dish fell short.
So the shrimp croquette , cauliflower dip, and chocolate mousse was superb.
Always a great meal and fun time
Complete gem. Always great food and friendly, helpful staff.
Everything was wonderful - food , service and staff and the filthy martinis too
We were a little early on the reservation but were shown our table straight away, which is always nice. Our waiter was very nice, helpful and friendly. She helped us pick a nice wine and was insightful on the choice of entrees. I had the coffee & molasses rubbed pork which she said was new on the menu and it was great and would recommend it but then again all our dishes were great (crackle chicken). We had a couple of cocktails too, my old fashioned was one of the best I've had in a long time! Good atmosphere & ambience, if a little loud, but nothing too obnoxious.
The Plimoth is the best! This is our second time eating there and again we were blown away by the service, food, and incredible atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
Still a reliably great meal but it seems over the years the menu has shrunk and the prices have risen to unreasonable levels.
First of all, the food is amazing. From the smoked pork to the croquettes to the lamb shank - it was all incredibly well done. Pair that with service that is truly second to none, and this place is a must-try in Denver. It was me and my girlfriend’s anniversary, so they called me earlier that day to ask if they could provide Prosecco to celebrate. The whole waitstaff was super attentive and clearly very experienced at making sure it felt like a special night. We will absolutely be back.
This place is getting very expensive. I am disappointed that most entrées are around $40. I won’t not come back, and yes I can afford to dine there but it’s more than I’m comfortable paying. I enjoyed my entrée and so did my husband but neither of us liked the appetizer- it was a house smoked pork with a tuna aioli sauce. Really what it tasted like was ham swimming in mayonnaise. There was probably half a cup of that stuff on the plate and it was nauseatingly rich.
We have been to The Plimoth several times and it has become one of our favorites for date night. This time my wife and I were both disappointed with the flavor and the cost of our entree. $37.00 for a small piece of extremely salt chicken was the primary problem. The piece of chicken was very small. And as mentioned it was very salty. On the other hand our appetizers, dessert and service was excellent.
It was a treat from the beginning to the end. We shared the lobster bisque, then had the red snapper and finished it
Creative menu - always changing so there's always something new to try. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
We always enjoy our meals at the Plimoth and came for a special occasion. Melody was attentive (as always), the food was delicious, and we throughly enjoyed our evening
We have been going to the Plimoth since it opened and generally loved it but this was not a great experience. Undercooked fish, not ready for us when we got there, and really high prices. Disappointing.
Have heard wonderful things about Plimoth and our expectations were well met! The whole experience was just spot on. Thank you!
Service was great - food was great! Will definitely be going back.
Plimoth was a wonderful treat. We made reservations on Open Table for Valentine's Day a few months in advance. When the big day came, my husband wasn't able to join, so I ended up taking my daughter and young grandkids. Bear in mind, this is an intimate and pretty fancy restaurant! My grandchildren were very well behaved, but even so, the staff were incredibly nice and respectful. A few times, the staff played peekaboo and waved to the kiddos when passing by. The kids loved looking into the open kitchen as well. Our food was delicious, our favorite being the Brussel sprouts. The desserts were SO yummy and not too sweet! We had the apple tart and chocolate hazelnut pot de creme. Both were different and complex and a perfect ending to a lovely meal. We will definitely be back sans kids in the near future! And just to be clear, there is no kid menu and I wouldn't call this a particularly kid friendly restaurant, but we were treated so well considering the circumstances, and we very much appreciated it!
Always amazing food, drinks and service! Friendly staff that are knowledgeable about food and wine paring. Incredible chefs that care!
The menu was small but innovative and delicious. We started with the faro appetizer. It was very different and very tasty. Too heavy for one but perfect for two. I had the vegetarian option, lentil stuffed Savoy cabbage with potatoes in a paprikas sauce with a little jewel of a red pickled egg. I loved it. My husband had the steak but instead of the ubiquitous asparagus and potatoes, it came with rutabaga and risotto, a delightful change. The dessert was milk chocolate pot de crepe. It was like having the best part of a creamy Black Forest cake with tart cherries and cream. We will return.
The food was great with great flavors and proper seasoning. Though, the service was so slow and poor that I would not go back
I’ve been coming here for 6 years and it’s always much anticipated and excellent. I’m sorry to say it was at best a 3.5 star this past Saturday- everything was mostly average from the service to food and weird bass coming from the speakers. I didn’t enjoy it like I normally do and that really disappoints :(
Yet another great experience at the Plimoth. Food was amazing and the service was awesome, as usual.
The Plimoth was lovely. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, but not suffocating. The food was wonderful and the service was great. We enjoyed our visit and would certainly come again!
Absolutely fantastic! My mother said she thought she had lost her taste buds, until she ate here, for her 84th birthday! We had lamb and chicken entrees, and lemon ice cream, and cheese desserts and everything was delicious! Also, the cocktails drinks and wine pairings were spot on. Can’t think of anything I would change. Wait staff was also very pleasant.
See you soon.
Plimoth has long established itself as our "go-to" restaurant. It never disappoints in terms of food and service which are always first-rate. I love the seasonal offerings, the staff's friendliness, and the unpretentious vibe of the whole place.
We had a great server and great food. Thank you so much for the Prosecco birthday toast! What a special little surprise. We really appreciated the attention and kindness. We will be back!
The food was good, floor plan decent but not amazing, service also pretty good… But for the price, I kind of expected something a little more exceptional. If I’m going to drop a few hundred dollars on a meal, I want something I definitely could not replicate at home.
Wonderful, quaint neighborhood joint with excellent food and an extensive drink list. Reservation highly recommended. Not cheap, but not crazy-expensive. A good "night out" place. We'll be back.
What a lovely evening and delicious food and cocktails! Will most certainly return!
Delicious small menu. The few times we have been we have ordered almost the entire menu amongst friends and every starter, main course and dessert is delicious. Well seasoned, perfectly cooked. The prices are a bit high but given its all delicious, its worth it!
Used to be one of my favorites. Seems to have lost some of its luster. Service was mediocre (slow and not so personable) and food was overpriced for what it was, i.e. $37 for chicken entree seemed excessive. Also, seems like a turnover in staff, so maybe attribute to some new hires. Will give it another go.
Such an amazing experience!!! Thank you, Plimoth!! I had a first date at your restaurant and I could not have had a better experience, from the kind hostess who put the flowers I brought in a cooler until our table was ready, to the server who brought us complimentary champagne to celebrate our time, to the delicious dinner and charming ambiance!! Best dinner and date in forever!!
Cocktails were good - but none could be ordered with egg whites
The loss of a star is due to the duck fat. I didn't expect a square of fat. Yes, they brought more crostini but that is too much - very little accompaniment with the fat. We ordered at the waitress's suggestion. Bad choice.
All the other food was very good and worth 5 stars. The vegetarian pasta was good but not imaginative.
As always, I had a great evening at The Plimoth. I was joined by two friends who had never been and we had an incredible time. Service, recommendations, beverages were impeccable. Only ding on food was that the NY Strip was very grisly.
