The restaurant wasn’t busy at all yet it was very difficult to get even water refills. The staff was friendly but my shrimp and grits was mostly cheese and the shrimp tasted like they’d gone bad. Overall I would not return to this restaurant and wouldn’t trust any of the food.

We had show tickets and wanted something close, the sandwich we had was supposed to come with a sauce and they didn’t have it but instead of telling us we were served the food. It was then lacking, had I know I would have ordered something else. They did give us a discount but it was disappointing. We will try it again as there other things I wanted to try. Menu was small but sill had enough options. The jump in pricing to steaks was a big leap (I would normally have a steak but it seemed so much more expensive).

They had a new menu that wasn't on the menu website. My husband had Vegetable Pasta and I had a seared salmon on a bed of a pureed parsnip with crispy brussels sprouts and an awesome glaze/sauce. Both dishes were well presented and delicious. The Buckeye cake was great! We have yet to have a meal here that we have not liked.

My husband and I had tickets to the Ohio Theater and wanted something close by. Very laid back on Sunday but they took good care of us. Wine and flatbread appetizer which was delicious served quickly! Main items roasted apple salad with salmon and steak sandwich and fries a little slow but worth the wait!! Very nice and not crowded so we really enjoyed our dinner. Made it to show with ease!!

I was not expecting much but it ended being a very pleasant dining experience. The salmon did not smell or taste “ fishy “ and the waiter served the sauce on the side which I appreciated very much. I will definitely be back for another dinner before a show.

We sometimes choose this restaurant because of the convenient pre-theater location. But, we may rethink that. Tonight there were minimal staff, frustrated diners, sticky tables and lousy food. Honestly, the drive-through at Wendy’s would have been a better choice.

Very prompt service by personable seaters & servers. Limited menu items. Only 1 salad was my vegetarian selection, all others entrees were meat based. Not a problem for most diners. It was a delicious & large portioned salad.

Because of the location, this is a popular spot before the theater. If doing so, I would highly recommend 1.5 hours to 2 hours just in case. We went tonight and it really appeared to be a one man show. Nick was the host, bartender, waiter, and food runner. He was so nice and gracious regardless of being pulled in so many different directions. If this place was staffed appropriately, it would be really great. Food is reasonable (not a ton of options, but enough) and can’t be the location. Please give Nick some help @plaza

For a restaurant in the hotel, the food was reasonably priced and pretty good. The service was good and it was a convenient place to go before seeing a show at the Ohio theater. Drinks were good and fair priced.

We had an early dinner before the Nutcracker performance. Our waiter was very good and our meal was tasty. We had good beverages like sparkling wine and beer. Our Granddaughter enjoyed her kids meal and lemonade. Great experience will definitely return.

Food was not good. Processed and pre-prepared. Not enjoyable. It is obvious they do not have a chef on premise. It was a restaurant convenient to our theatre engagement that evening. Will never return—no matter how convenient. Atmosphere was lousy; very outdated. Don’t think twice. Pick another place.

From the moment we arrived our experience was outstanding. We arrive just at the end of the typical Sunday brunch buffet and we were given the choice of having brunch or ordering from the lunch menu. It was very kind to offer to keep the brunch buffet up until we were finished. We opted to go with the lunch menu and our food was great. It’s a lovely dining room overlooking the fountain and the plaza. The servers were wonderful and the food was great. Couldn’t have asked for more

Our server was fantastic and the highlight of our experience! We have been coming here for years before shows and I could not believe how empty it was and how limited the menu was as well. We came for the special Hamilton menu to discover it had been discontinued due to long service times. Whenever I needed a side or sauce, no cooks could be found. Only 3 tables total for a Friday dinner theater night. It was sad to see where this place has gone. We probably won’t be back.

I had not been to this restaurant for twenty years. Read a few poor reviews but made a reservation anyway (had theater tickets and a large thunderstorm was forecasted). It is a small menu of mostly hotel fare but our orders were carefully prepared and the service was excellent. No tired hotel fare here--each dish was artful turn on classic cuisine.

Do not recommend! Service was horrible. They acted as if they didn’t care. We waited 45 mins for a salad and never got our entrees. Took 15 mins to get some water. The salad that we did get was good. However, it goes not redeem the other food and service mistakes. Will not go back.

We are here since it was so close to the Ohio Theater and we were seeing a show. It seemed convenient, and the other reviews were good enough that I booked. However, be advised that it’s just a hotel bar - and the drinks were bad. They had really limited selections of beer and wine, and the cocktail I ordered was an awful sugar bomb with a fake candy cherry in it. It was undrinkable. I ordered the salmon - not a Cajun spice to be found, which I really would have liked to cover up the stale fishy taste. My boyfriend ordered the Caesar salad and added chicken - the chicken tasted like thawed chicken fingers from a fast food restaurant and the dressing was very low quality and synthetic tasting. The kicker is that they charge upscale pricing. Absolute bust - do not eat, would not recommend.

When we got there the Plaza Restaurant was not open. We had to eat in the bar area. It was ok. I just feel they should not have taken my reservation for the Plaza Restaurant if it wasn't going to be open. The area was fine and the food was ok. The one gentleman working there was doing his best.

We had a wonderfully quiet dinner. Our host was also our server and handled the bar, but he was attentive and available. We also had great wait staff for breakfast. The menus had changed but the food was still great. We stay at the Sheraton every few months for a little break and have enjoyed the dining every time...especially the wings!

This restaurant is interesting because it has many things going for it. It is a beautiful room with a splendid view. We had a superb server in Jada and the manager is delightful, helpful and eager to please. But the menu is so small and limited that in 4 trips, you've pretty much had everything they offer. What they do offer is good though.

The Plaza is great for Ohio Theater patrons wanting a nice dining experience before or after a show. The walking distance is short, and there are several good parking options. The service, ambience, noise level, and decor are all fine. I prefer a quiet environment when I dine, and appreciated that the several large screen televisions showing sports events were kept at an non-intrusive volume. The menu is concise, but offers very acceptable options. I ordered the strip steak, which has been my choice at least five previous times. The mashed potatoes and asparagus sides were perfect. The "confit" topping for the steak was delicious. On this occasion, as twice before, the steak was very disappointing. It was quite tough (didn't seem even "choice" grade) and cooked medium instead of rare, as I asked. I ate as much of it as possible, but left at least half on the plate, and did tell the server to convey my comment to the chef. But it's really the purchasing staff who make food procurement decisions. Next time, I'll order something else! Have given up on the strip steak.
