The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

I will say the ambience was great, but you're more along the line paying for the name rather than the food. I will say the food was high priced, as expected, but very bland sadly.

Server was rude to both my wife and patrons at other tables. Service was slow and food quality left much to be desired.

Some of the best fried chicken I ever had. Wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. I have never seen food brought out so quickly after it was ordered. Would definitely recommend and return.

I had the fried shrimp and the fingerlings potatoes. It was a hearty meal. My wife had the Aji tuna and she loved it. Both meals were excellent. The ambience is very nice and the experience was unforgettable.

Horrible service. Waiter was definitely trying to Hurry us. Asked if we wanted dessert when we barely started our dinner. Said we were still enjoying our dinner. Never offered it again then brought our check. Seemed very annoyed when I asked for coffee when he delivered the check. Big piece of gristle in my egg roll, really gross, didn’t finish it. Disappointed in what was a highly recommended spot. Felt like we were eating at a chain restaurant.

Neat experience. We had a reservation for lunch. We were shown to our seats upon arrival. Wonderful service from beginning to end. We went with the lunch buffet. I thought it was small, but there are a few meat options (chicken, pork and fish) to keep some variety. You may want to take a look at things before deciding what to order. Food was good. I also ordered a Skull Crusher, which came with a cool souvenir mug. Very interesting gift shop upstairs, featuring all sorts of fun trinkets and souvenirs. Make sure to read the paper placemat on the table for fascinating history on the house. Would return for another visit in the future. A+

Interesting menu. The superfood salad was good but overdressed. The crabcake was indeed jumbo but unfortunately cold. The fried chicken covered with a sticky syrup was moist. Everything just needed more attention to detail.

Good but not great food. It was worth doing though. The food was better than what the prices would have suggested. Also, great atmosphere and history.
